  1. Matthew 16 24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life[g] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

  2. God's three step prescription of fear and anxiety 1. Give it all to God in prayer....casting your cares on him for he cares for you 2. THANK HIM for taking care of it, Trust that he will take care of it. 3. Once you've put it in his hands, do not take it back. Rather think about good things and let His peace reign in your heart Philippians 4: 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Meditate on These Things 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

  3. The Ancient of Days Reigns (Daniel 7:9) “As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire. (Daniel 7:10) A stream of fire issued and came out from before him; a thousand thousands served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the court sat in judgment, and the books were opened. (Daniel 7:11) “I looked then because of the sound of the great words that the horn was speaking. And as I looked, the beast was killed, and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire. (Daniel 7:12) As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. [ESV]

  4. PAPAL INFALLIBILITY (declared in 1870 AD). Definition: When a pope is speaking in his official position on any issue of faith or morals, he is speaking infallibly, meaning without error. Answer: The apostles never regarded any man to be infallible. Only the Word of God is regarded as without error. If Peter was pope, which the Bible says he was not, then he made mistakes as in Galatians 2:11-14 when he was deceived by Judaizers. "But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed." The following events from history show the error of papal infallibility. 1. Pope John XII, in the "Liber Pontificalis," the Catholic publication discussing the lives of the popes, states that "He spent his entire life in adultery." 2. Popes Innocent III, Gregory XI, Clement IV, Hadrian VI, and Paul IV all disagreed with papal infallibility. 3. Pope Stephen VI (896) had the dead pope Formosus (891-6) tried, questioned, fingers hacked off, dragged through Rome and thrown into the Tiber river. 4. Pope Hadrian II (867) declared civil marriage to be valid, but Pope Pius VII (1800-23) declared it to be invalid. 5. Pope Eugene IV (1431) had Joan of Arc burned alive as a witch, but later Pope Benedict IV in 1919 declared her to be a saint. 6. Pope Pius XI in 1929 endorsed Fascism and called Mussolini "a man sent by God." However, before World War II, he warned people against Mussolini. 7. The Vatican advised the German Catholic Party to vote for Nazi candidates. In 1933, the Vatican and Hitler signed a concordat, where the Catholic church swore allegiance to the Nazi government. Later on Pope Pius XI condemned Hitler. How can a supposedly infallible man make so many errors of judgment, and even contradict other so-called infallible popes? Surely this disproves papal infallibility to any honest, open minded person.

  7. So lets have some practical examples of what Christians should be doing. Any one can knock a building down, but it takes real spiritual insight and wisdom to build up peoples faith and worship.

  8. Hi Dennis, Some very good points there bro. I agree that we are very close to the Lord returning. Take off 7 years for Daniel`s 70th year and we get 2022 in the Jewish calendar. I`m looking for early February next year. I am presenting my latest blog in Marilyn` Messages, on `The Lord`s Feasts` which I believe and present, that give us Jewish dates from God`s word for important events to come. Of course those dates then have to be changed to our Solar calendar and as we are not given the year we still have to look to the Holy spirit to quicken our spirits as to the Lord coming. So...I`m there with you bro, and so are our friends over here. We believe that the next few months are going to be more of a roller coaster ride - more dying of covid and the `jab`, food shortages, financial troubles, civil unrest, environmental catastrophes etc etc. Time to really seek the Lord and great opportunities to help others in so many ways. Let us go forth bravely, by the Holy Spirit to a dying world...physically and spiritually. `exhorting, (encouraging and warning) one another and so much the more a you see the day approaching.` (Heb. 10: 25)

  9. Yes we celebrated the feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) and the 8th Day Shemini Atzeret in our fellowship, we had an absolutely amazing time. Praise Yahweh for His appointed times for us to draw near to Him. For giving us the signs and seasons in His creation. Bless you as a new cycle starts especially this one as it is connected to the 7 year shmitah cycle. Shalom

  11. Hi RH, There are the poor because there are the greedy; there is plenty of food, it is just thrown out; there is plenty of land, just not watered; there is plenty of workers, just used for the wrong purposes. Mankind cannot manage the earth, its resources and population, only God can do that. And He will in the millennium, and the new heavens and new earth.

  12. John 3:16 says nothing remotely like that, of course; and nor does any other verse. For just one problem, amongst many, with your opinion: what about all the people who never hear about Jesus Christ?

  13. Those who teach God's Word need to be careful that they are teaching the literal true Word of God. Their judgment will be harsh if they are posting false doctrine and allowing people to stumble and fall in their faith. They could be judge more severe when Judgment day comes.

  14. The Bible never says that faith is a product of fallen man's choice - never. It does say that faith (and repentance) is a gift from God.

  15. I said nothing about keeping Jesus' commands being "...extra out of love for Christ...", so why are you implying that I did? If we are saved, then we love him and obey his commands (although not perfectly - we all still sin sometimes). Eternal security comes from Christ's shed blood, death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, through faith in him. The good works we do are evidence of that salvation, they do not procure it. Salvation is of the Lord, who works in us, to will and to do of his good pleasure. He who has begun a good work in us, will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

  16. What if the answer is somewhere in between. In general, I believe the creation account is true because we're all here obviously. However, I don't think it's as important to focus on a literal reading for on of the creation account. People can get caught up on the weeds. What's important is that we were created by God.

  17. Sorry but I and the bible disagree with your idea. Jesus said if you Love Me, you will obey my commands. The ten commandments were given by Jesus. How do we know what sin is if we do not have the 10C/ How do we know what behaviour pleases God with out the 10C? Oh I agree that our keeping of them gains us nothing. But those who ignore them end up not knowing what Gods will is for them. ( God does not repeatedly tell us what he has already taught us, so to ignore the 10C means we ae living life without any guidance. )

  18. Yesterday someone posted an idea that Yeshua was not eternal but was created. They misunderstood the Israeli 'first born' idea that is a STATUS and not a chronological affirmation. "My people perish thru lack of knowledge". They might couch it in some kind of scriptural nonsense. The unware might miss it but if you see that kind of thing, just know it is from a subtle deception. Some sects that call themselves 'christian' try to equate Yeshua with a created being. I think the careful reader will know what I am getting at.

  19. He used that in John to up the anti. He was proclaiming that it was HE that was Lord of the council. He passed sentence on the ones that were disobedient and responsible for the many pantheons: "You will all die like men and fall like any prince." Read John very carefully to get the true meaning of that exchange.

  20. To answer the OP. The 'great tribulation' from Israel's perspective is long over. The Spirit of the Lord is always here. All these silly end times scenarios are incorrect. We await the final day of the Lord and in the meantime we stay away from fables and get on with the Great Commission. God is always Sovereign up until eternity and way past the last heartbeat of the last saved soul. All the rest is supposition based on supposition and falsehood plus the misreading of many scriptures.

  21. Much of the older writings in the scripture are polemics and poke fun at other deities. They may even hijack some texts and put YHWH in place of the Baal deity or whatever. It is quite obvious to Christian scholars what was going on. Even one of the psalms mimics the Baal cycle in certain places. The ungodly purveyors of misinformation are to be expected and suitably ignored for their literary ignorance.

  22. In the past 30 years we have travelled all over the USA and I can tell you from personal experience that you can find good loving Christians just about everywhere you go. I would be shocked if the Lord destroyed the USA like Sodom. We should be asking him for help rooting out what evil exists here instead of destroying everything.

  23. 1st Peter, 1:6-7, "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials 7so that the proven character of your faith— more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire— may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Many of us have had our turn at learning these scriptures first hand. Now it's my turn. 1 Peter 5:10, NIV: "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." Trials and Temptations James 1:, 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. I don't know how many of you have had to perserver a trial of agonizing pain, that leaves you totally dependent on God to overcome, but some words of encouragement would be much appreciated. God bless you all, My name is Arrabon
