  1. There is a tendency to read into words, our questions and preconceived beliefs. Calvin was surely used by the Lord, but he wrestled with the source and course of SALVATION. That is, the ESCAPE of retribution. He is known for his fearless approach and was, in the area that he functioned, very effective. But the men who followed Calvin, the men who agreed with him did not isolate this "salvation" from other salvations. Peter and company, in a boat tossed by storm, are not "saved" from perdition. They are saved from drowning. Likewise, Israel, at the waters of Mara, are saved from thirst, not the Lake of Fire. Romans 8 is a solution to the cry of Romans 7; "Who, or What will save me from indwelling evil!!!???" It reads in Romans 7:21–24; 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? The culprit here is not some danger from God's judgment. No doubt it will end there, but the immediate problem is the indwelling law of evil. Paul dos not cry for salvation from perdition. he cries for salvation FROM HIS OWN SELF. He is miserable because his DISPOSITION is so fallen. The Lake of Fire is far away from all this. His stated problem is; "I delight to do the Law of God and am UNABLE!" Paul cries for a DISPOSITIONAL salvation - an intrinsic change of what is IN HIM. God's solution is the LIFE OF ANOTHER. Paul ... REPLACE your LIFE! Chapter 8 says that if we can get the Law of LIFE of Christ Jesus into we have a fair fight. The Law of evil never relents, but as long as we apply the LIFE that dwells in us - not human life, but the Life of Christ, we can overcome! Verse 28-29 say that EVERY circumstance of your life, good or bad, will be used by God to CHANGE YOUR DISPOSITION. Because those who Go FOREKNEW he predestinated them to BE CONFORMED .... At this point the Christian takes over with his/her concept and changes the wording to "predestinated to salvation". To be saved from your disposition is a salvation, but it is nothing to do with retribution. It has to do with Christ having been the leader of a pack of men and women who bring glory to God and men by being like Christ! FOREKNEW is not predestination. Each year, Air Forces around the world select men for pilot training. After years of doing this, they KNOW what characteristics are needed in a man that will bring him to a safe and successfully qualified combat pilot. Those with mental or physical deficiencies are first routed out of the selection process. Then those who cannot process complex information sources are next exposed. Coordination, concentration under duress and attention to detail are tested brutally. Why all this suffering? Because the Air Force KNOW what it takes, and the Air Force wants to KNOW the pilot aspirant. They are about to spend $200,000 and give a man possession of a $10 million airplane. The Air Force wants FOREKNOWLEDGE. They don't care who the man is. They do not decide on prejudice. The best looking and those born into good families don't have a chance. The Senator's son is a liability if predestinated. The Chief of the Air Force has to report to a politically powerful man that the PREDESTINATION of his son to pilot training ended in his death. So also God. He KNOWS who will subject themselves to the rigors of the CONFORMING. Good and bad will befall the Christian (verse 28). But God will go ahead anyway because He FOREKNEW who would end up in the image of His Son. Of course, God foreknows who will end in the Lake of Fire. But that is not the context. The context is that based on knowledge of the student, the student is called. Called for what? NOT SALVATION! He is called to be a like brother to Christ IN DISPOSITION. He must undergo a CONFORMING. Is he up to it? YES; otherwise God would not have called him.

  2. We are told to pray for those who persecute us. What is one praying for? That they be saved! If one does not pray for the salvation of others, why tell them the gospel? God graciously uses us in the process of salvation, our witnessing, our prayers all are used by God to save his elect. Never stop praying for the salvation of those you witness to.

  3. I am born again as a direct result of years of prayer for me by My Grandmother and step grandfather. How so? God is faithful to answer prayer rightly asked. My grandmother used to read the Bible to me when I was a small child as best she could as she was severely paralyzed. My step grandfather was an excellent man. I grow up to be an atheist, until at age 35 long after the death of both my grandparents God answered their prayers by turning me about, doing so in such a way that I knew by way of an angel that it was because of their prayer that I was being called to turn about. Prayer for others was not only important in my own salvation it was vital!

  4. I hear you, and agree, God has power over His creature. In the case of Pharaoh, do you think the hardening was so that God might have somebody to whip, or was it because Pharaoh recognized God's superiority and was about to wilt before God could reach His goal? As to the goal, answer this for yourself. In John 1:29 the Lamb is for the "sin" (singular) of the world. If Pharaoh had done the same, would the angel of death passed over his household? The Israelites were bond servants of the Egyptians. They numbered about 2 million. Do you think that half a million households, who all had a lamb inside for four days, passed the notice of the slave-masters? The Bible asks, and answers not a word, and nor should I, but one thing is sure. It was an Egyptian decision not to Believe in a Jewish Lamb until it was too late. Can we attribute predestination to death by a God Who wanted to kill Egyptians. No. The opposite is evident. The Israelites were as much involved in idol-worship as the Egyptians were (Josh.24:14). The angel of death "passed over" Israelite houses, indicating that God was as intent on judgment of Israelites as Egyptians. And killing the firstborn of Egypt was moot for the Israelites. They were not slated to inherit Egypt - rather, Canaan. The slaughter of Egypt's firstborn looks further forward than Israel. It looks to a time when God changes the world's government and sets up a Kingdom of men who embraced the Lamb - the Millennium.

  6. I did! In spite of my total lack of faith or trust. I was turned about to worship Yeshua as my Lord God and personal savior. Was a long time coming, the response by God to prayer, but when that response happened I was turned about in a comparatively near instant. God is faithful to answer prayer rightly asked.

  7. ...'Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, saying: “ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”

Let the grand Type speak; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 9. This country is no longer seeking God as it's authority.... as a follower of God, how do we co-exist in a world that forces you to become like them? The pattern is being written.... we will be prosecuted in the not to distant future for not complying with the ideals of the world. Trump may not be the answer- but he is an example of how those in power will stop at nothing to prevent others from gaining any power or backing from those they oppose. The twisting of the legal system is evident and there is no doubt a preferential judicial system has taken over. BLM, HAMAS can block cars, buildings, etc.... no to little punishment. Block or talk to someone at an abortion clinic, and go to prison for a long time. Values are no longer what they use to be. Deny your child a a pro-noun --- loose your child to the system..... give me a covered wagon to mars, seems only place left to become a pioneer/pilgrim again.....

  12. PS: @PraiseHim1004 I think it's naive for some ppl from very strict churches to assume that younger ppl with a real zeal for the doctrines of the Biblical faith are nevertheless going to have exactly the same likes and dislikes and preferences as maybe they had (it goes right against Romans 14 Christian liberty, in any case). Generationally, the perspective might actually differ. FYI: re. young ppl on missions trips: .............. From my last trip everyone got a scripture tattoo..Some meaningful scriptures. One girl said she was so thankful .. realizing she could relate the tattoo to her life..I had that tattoo planned out for nearly a year (11months) .. Maybe next year when I go back (these trips are going to be regular every 4 or so months trips) I will get another. ..One guy decided last minute but everyone literally spent hours on their phone that day looking up verses and verse tattoos ..They are meaningful to them kmrichard christianforums dot com .......... From the Bible Belt: .................. Quote Around here (Bible Belt), it is common, especially among evangelical Christians, for the girls under about 40 to have religious tattoos. More do than don't, especially when you get to the under 30 crowd. 13. https://predestinationstation.wordpress.com/2015/11/11/romans-917-18-gods-right-to-harden-pharaoh/ The hardening of Pharaoh’s heart was therefore a legitimate response by God to Pharaoh’s earlier rejection of him. It is clear that Pharaoh already did not want to let God’s people leave, so God’s hardening of him was not making him do something he did not want to do; instead it was giving Pharaoh the strength to do what he already did want to do. https://predestinationstation.wordpress.com/2016/03/18/romans-922-23-why-does-god-put-up-with-unbelieving-ethnic-israelites-can-vessels-of-wrath-become-vessels-of-mercy/ In the structure of Romans 9:6-29 (which is one of the sections of Romans 9-11), verse 22 matches with verse 17: ‘For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth”’. Both verses refer to God showing/making known his power for the purpose of the proclamation of the good news about God. As we saw when considering verse 17, God was explaining to Pharaoh why he had not yet issued full and complete judgement against him by killing him, which was what Pharaoh deserved following his rejection of God. God explained that he had instead kept Pharaoh in his position of power and had hardened him because doing this caused a greater spread of the good news about God, which was achieved through the great miracles/plagues and final triumphant exodus of God’s people. This had a much greater impact than if God had simply killed Pharaoh immediately and then quietly led his people out of Egypt. For a similar reason, God did not immediately kill the unbelieving ethnic Israelites upon their rejection of Christ, even though this was their deserved full judgement. Instead, God kept them in place and hardened them (also an act of judgement). The result of this was that Gentiles were coming to trust in Christ following the spread of the gospel to the nations. If God had immediately killed all the ethnic Israelites who rejected Christ, the gospel would not have spread as quickly, as more believers would have stayed in Jerusalem rather than leaving to flee persecution. Furthermore, this would have removed the opportunity for any of these ethnic Israelites to repent at a later time and come to trust in Christ. One such person who did this was Paul himself! Others would also do this, as Paul explains in Romans 11 (see below).

  15. Read this very encouraging word in a devotional today. It really exposes the lies of the enemy and what his role is in our lives - to steal, kill & destroy! And then it goes on to explain how the reality is the immense love of God toward each of us, and how we may, practically, keep ourselves in that love. We can easily get ourselves away from actively knowing the love of God in our day to day lives, by harkening to all the enemy's lying distractions around us (and in our flesh), but we can just as easily turn to the Lord through prayer (by just speaking to Him continually) and keep ourselves in the freshness of His love. Keep Yourselves in the Love of God "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." Jude 20-21 Things are never as bad as we think they are. It is the devil that tells us all the negative things. He is the accuser of the brethren. He is a liar. He is a destroyer. He is a killer. He is a cheater. He usurps us. God surely does not feel that way about you. We believe lies about ourselves. If we will just pray in the Holy Spirit, open our mouths and call on the Lord, or sing with our hearts, we will discover that God's love in us is what is real. We can keep ourselves in the love of God by praying in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is within us. The love of God and the grace of Christ will flow in us in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:14). And that fellowship of the Holy Spirit is ours simply by praying in the Holy Spirit. This is how we keep ourselves in the love of God. Oh, what a love-life! This is an encouragement to everyone. Even if you feel like the most pitiful person, you are a candidate for the dispensing of this love-life. Just let the Lord in. And then keep letting Him in. Pray in the Holy Spirit, and you will discover how you feel about yourself from God's point of view. You will say, "I am really in a wonderful condition! God loves me!" (from The Supplied Life by B. Freeman)

  16. That "inherit" and "enter" are referring to two different things. The Mark 10:17 and 10:23 passage shows the most clearly that that notion is false. Both inherit the kingdom and enter the kingdom are the same idea. There are preachers that when reaching Galatians 5:21 will dismiss the clear warning from Paul by saying how that "inherit the kingdom" is not the same as "enter the kingdom". Paul makes clear however that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. Galatians 5:24 We don't just live any old way and end up in heaven because we said a sincere prayer at some point in time. People who really said a sincere prayer, will therefore live a certain way, simply because they sincerely believe, and largely because the Holy Spirit will be in them. He that does not keep my teachings does not LOVE me. John 14:24 If any person does not LOVE the Lord Jesus Christ, let that person be Anathema, Oh Lord Come! 1 Corinthians 16:22 Why did Paul say that? What is he doing there? People were giving him too much authority, some saying how that they are of Paul, 1 Corinthians 1:13, and so Paul took that misguided authority they gave him and gave it right back to Christ, in a very strong and bold way. If any person does not LOVE the Lord Jesus Christ, let that person be Anathema, Oh Lord Come! 1 Corinthians 16:22 Love for Christ is shown by obedience to His simple teachings. John 14:24, John 10:27

  17. "And these signs shall follow them that believe;.....they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." - Mark 16:17,18 One of the ways the enemy tries to ravage and destroy the Body of Christ is through sicknesses and infirmities.. Believers are rising from a place of brokenness, healed in body and mind, as they rise up to release His glory on the earth in these last days. RENEWAL OF FAITH AND STRENGTH IN THE HEART OF THE BELIEVER The Lord longs to crush strongholds of sicknesses by releasing faith and strength into our hearts. He will renew minds as we affirm and meditate on His word regarding healing, so that healings will come forth not only through spontaneous moves of healing but through the personal faith and authority of the Believer. Isaiah 55:11 says, "So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." We understood that what happened on the Cross is the reality in Heaven. When Jesus declared, "It is finished!" before He gave up His Spirit, Heaven saw our redemption as accomplished. Jesus is extremely compassionate when Believers lose their lives to sickness, but our circumstance does not negate the reality of what was accomplished on the Cross. To understand the mystery of what took place on the Cross is to have a revelation of the arm of the Lord that is Jesus Himself. Isaiah, chapter 53, talks about the wounds of Jesus. Our transgressions, sins, and sicknesses were all dealt with by that ultimate sacrifice. We have delegated authority from Jesus to heal the sick, according to Mark 16:17-18. The Cross is not only a place where our sins, transgressions, and sicknesses were dealt with, but it is also a place of divine exchange. When we become sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ, we also receive full authority to destroy sin and sicknesses on this earth. The authority He gave through His death and resurrection was not to a few but to all. HOW DO WE PARTNER WITH THE LORD AS WE RECEIVE FAITH IN OUR HEARTS TO WALK IN OUR AUTHORITY OVER SICKNESSES? Our authority increases as we walk in obedience to the Lord through affirming, meditating, and visualizing the end result of what is promised in His word. The healing or breakthrough we receive from the Lord will often act as a catalyst to the healing of others through our lives. We can all walk with the God for whom nothing is impossible. YOUR AFFLICTION WILL NOT RISE UP A SECOND TIME The Lord is raising up a Joshua generation who will not only enter into their inheritance, but who will learn to occupy their place of inheritance. As He heals us, He wants us to remain in the freedom of healing He has given to us. He wants to free us of fear and doubt of recurring illness. There are those who have been healed of an illness but are afraid of returning symptoms. Once the enemy has been driven out, it is important to be diligent not to give place to him as he seeks to return Declare and meditate on Nahum 1:9 which says that affliction will not rise up a second time. It is His promise that when He heals it is permanent, and that the enemy is not allowed to reintroduce an affliction that we have been healed of. Occupy your place of healing and allow the faithfulness of God to be your defense against the tactic of the enemy to re-afflict you! We release His healing glory and salvations wherever we go to those who need it. We were set free for such a time as this: To release His Kingdom! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

  18. Let the reader judge; 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. 19. Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. I believe there was more than one incursion, pre- and post-flood. You mention Jude 6; let's not neglect the following verse. Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. I used to think the strange flesh was strictly homosexual, and it could be limited to that. However, consider the two hundred Watchers (angelic) that descended atop Mt. Hermon went after strange flesh (human women). In like manner, did the Sodomites also go after strange flesh (2 angels), a reversal. Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. There are many humans, angelic encounters in the OT, and they always appear as men with no wings. Something about angels in human form gives them away as angelic. I cannot imagine a biblical example where the visiting angel was not immediately known as a spiritual being. If I overlooked something, I'd appreciate correction. No doubt the two angels in Sodom were comely, and I suspect the Sodomites knew who they were, based on the biblical narrative. But anyway… I think Jude 6 possibly refers to 1 Enoch and the original 200 Watchers being cast down to the lowest Hell, Tartarus. That ancient knowledge the Watchers taught, if it was lost, evidently was found again. The numerous precise megalithic structures found globally attest to knowledge we cannot duplicate in this modern age, pre- or post-deluge. Since the discovery and translation of the DSS, many Bible translations have been amended, annotated, footnoted, revised, and italics replaced. An Excerpt from Dr. Michael Heiser The Dead Sea Scrolls found at Qumran contain material from the Book of Enoch, particularly the Watcher story. The Enochic tradition is evident in the community's possession of various texts like the Book of Jubilees, Genesis Apocryphon, and pesher texts interpreting the Watchers story. The influence of Enochian material at Qumran suggests a high level of respect for these texts, although not all Jewish sects viewed them as Scripture. The diversity of beliefs within Judaism during the Second Temple Period is likened to the variety seen in modern Christianity. Scholars believe that the reverence for Enochian texts at Qumran attracted individuals who valued these writings, indicating a unique perspective within the community. The pesher texts, which interpret other texts, shed light on the significance of the Enochian tradition among the Qumran community. Earlier we learned from 1 Enoch that the fate of the fallen Watchers was to be imprisoned in the Abyss for "seventy generations," or "until the day of their judgment … until the eternal judgment is consummated" (1 Enoch 10:11–13). This fate is consistent with what happened to the Mesopotamian apkallu, the saga to which Genesis 6:1–4 responded in a theological polemic. It is also reflected in 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 6, with their note that the "angels that sinned" were put "in chains of gloomy darkness" in Tartarus. Many scholars believe that the "unlocking" of the Abyss by a "star" who is given the key (Revelation 9:1–10) is the eschatological release of the imprisoned Watchers.[1] 1 Reversing Hermon: Enoch, The Watchers & The Forgotten Mission of Jesus Christ In conclusion, the biblical narrative makes more sense to Westerners when we study it with the mindset of the 2nd Temple period. What did the culture read, believe, and write about, what did they have access to, and what was their history and documentation? [1] Michael S. Heiser, Reversing Hermon: Enoch, The Watchers & The Forgotten Mission of Jesus Christ (Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press, 2017), 164.

  20. Shalom, NConly. This is where many Christians have come to an erroneous conclusion. One should ask oneself, "Over whom will the Messiah rule when He takes up David's throne?" See, good and bad alike, Yeeshuwa` the Messiah, who will become haMelekh Yisra'eel - "the King of-Israel," will reign over EVERY LAST ONE of them within His Kingdom! They - the children of Israel - are ALL His people! Did David reign over everyone in the Land? Sure he did, even though some of them were "sons of Belial" - "worthless fools." However, EVERY LAST ONE of them answered to David as their King! The same can be said for King Solomon! The same will be true for Yeeshuwa`s Kingdom! They ALL BELONG to Him! He has the authority to be Master and King over them all! The set of all believers (which many label "the Church") is NOT all there will be in the Kingdom of God over which the Messiah Yeeshuwa` will preside as the visible King! Consider this passage from the Resurrection Chapter, 1 Corinthians 15: 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 (KJV) 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits (singular) of them that slept. 21 For since "by man [came] death," "by man [came] also the resurrection of the dead." 22 For as "in Adam all die," even so "in Christ shall ALL be made alive." 23 But every man in his own order: (0) Christ the firstfruits (which occurred in the First Century A.D.); (1) afterward they that are Christ's (those who belong to the Messiah) AT HIS COMING. (2) 24 Then [cometh] THE END, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For HE MUST REIGN, TILL HE HATH PUT ALL ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET. 26 The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. (But when he saith "all things are put under [him," it is] manifest that "he" is excepted, which did "put all things under him.") 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. John told us that this will take a thousand years to accomplish: Revelation 20:1-15 (KJV) 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And DEATH and hell WERE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. So, from the time that we begin to reign with the Messiah until death is subdued by casting it into the Lake of Fire, is at least 1,000 years. Focusing on 1 Corinthians 15:26, the LAST enemy that is destroyed is DEATH, and we see this happening in Revelation 20:14. This is one of the links between these two passages of Scripture. Therefore, between "at His Coming" and "the End," when "Death is cast into the Lake of Fire," will be at least 1,000 years. THIS is how long He must reign until "all of His enemies are subdued." So, it TAKES TIME to conquer the earth properly! But, throughout this time period, He will be called a "King of kings"; that is, a "WORLD EMPEROR!" And, those in His own nation and within the other nations over whom He will annex, will be a MIXTURE of good and bad individuals. (This is what Yeeshuwa` was talking about in Matthew 13 about "the wheat and the tares.") The "sin problem" is dealt with at the end of the Millennium at the Great White Throne Judgment. HOWEVER, He will CONTINUE TO REIGN over Israel, subject to His Father's rule. Here's two more passages to consider: Luke 1:30-33 (KJV) 30 And the angel (the messenger Gabriel) said unto her, "Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him THE THRONE OF HIS FATHER DAVID: 33 And HE SHALL REIGN OVER THE HOUSE OF JACOB (ISRAEL) FOR EVER; and OF HIS KINGDOM THERE SHALL BE NO END." And, Revelation 22:1-5 (KJV) 1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the THRONE of God and OF THE LAMB. 2 In the midst of the street of it (the New Jerusalem), and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but THE THRONE of God and OF THE LAMB shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they (His servants) shall reign for ever and ever. So, once the Messiah has returned, He will STAY ON EARTH and reign over Israel FOREVER!

  22. They have or can take on a body. I always read it as that angels can't marry, but it may just mean that they don't do it because it's sin and they're not fallen angels and don't leave their domain. The angels that went to Abraham and Lot ate food. Jesus ate food before His incarnation when He went to Abraham. https://www.gotquestions.org/three-men-Genesis-18.html : one of the three “men” must have been God Almighty taking on the appearance of a man. We call such an appearance a “theophany.” When Jesus appears in His pre-incarnate body in the Old Testament, we call it a “Christophany.” Whether God’s appearance to Abraham in Mamre was a theophany or a Christophany, we don’t know. But it does seem clear from the context that one of the visitors was God Himself (Genesis 18:22) and the other two were the angels who later visited Sodom and spoke to Lot (Genesis 19:1). And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 24. Last minutes conversion by Hitler ? ? ? Well, IF that happened, and it was genuine, then I have to say that he is saved based upon the Mercy of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit, and especially the payment for sin made by Jesus Himself. Anything else would be 'works based' salvation, and that cannot happen because the justice of God passed all penalty of sin upon Jesus upon the cross. Aren't you glad that all of your pre-salvation sins are gone and will never be brought up at the Bema Seat of Christ??? I am . . .

  25. Hebrews 1 says: 'But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever'. It's hard to see this somehow mutating or changing. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are deeply present in the NT as abiding revelation of truths settled eternally.

  26. Hi VA, Thanks for your answer. I agree a grand work. And the 5-fold ministries of the Lord are - `And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,...` (Eph. 4: 11)

  27. I was once totally confused, because an atheist and a Jewish guy said that I was a polytheist and had 3 gods and I really didn't know how to answer that. I asked God because I was so confused. He said: Look at Jesus when He was on earth. The Father was in Him. The Holy Spirit was in Him. The Father spoke. He only said what the Father spoke. The Holy Spirit performed the miracles when He spoke. You'd think He was one Person, but He was 3 Persons in One. In Him the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily. And then Stephen: But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” Acts 7:55‭-‬56 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/act.7.55-56.NKJV

  29. Jesus says He gives His sheep eternal life. And in verse 27 He defines who His sheep are. My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life. John 10:27-28 I say unto you that hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Luke 6:27 Therefore, if someone is a sheep of Jesus, they hear His voice and follow Him. Otherwise they are not His sheep and do not receive eternal life.
