I'm glad you're feeling a bit better , we are similar ages , I live in a small suburb an hour from Sydney. I asked the local seniors club if I could join them a few years ago , I'm supposed to get them tea or coffee and help them , but they rarely need it . It does get me out of the house though and I love it. They have taught me a lot about life , and they love their lives . I'm sure if you went to some of the groups , they would love to have you , and if they say no , it's not where God wants you , try another , and keep trying . I sometimes feel like I'm in God's waiting room, I've had so many close calls . We are still here , which means our Lord still has work for us to do . Let's try and figure it out . I loved what kwik said , you never know what our wonderful Saviour is going to bring into our lives . Who knows what could happen next week or next month. Got bless you dear .

I am also alone with a chronic illness, but I agree with firestormx , we have given our lives to our Lord, and he is with us , he went through pain , sadness and loneliness. he knows what we go through, he's been there . One day , we will have accomplished everything we are meant too .Then we will be ready for heaven , Sorry I'm over simplifying , Will pray for you , and hope you will realize what a blessing you are . petula

I'm sorry if this has turned you away from Worthy , it is basically a family of Christians , and families do not always agree . There are many wise and loving Christians on Worthy . I have been a victim of PTSD , although I hate that term , I don't believe I would have the courage to leave my home, if I did not have the assurance of Christ with me at all times , Please join a loving supportive church , it will help you in your in so many ways . Tj , Praise God , he brought those lovely people to your aid . PTSD is a bother , but our Lord is always with us and leads us to safety . It gets easier luv , God bless you tj .

Praying for you tj . I too have PTSD because of abuse , it does get easier , there are people and organizations that can help us , domestic violence organizations can help you or point you to someone who can , women's health centres , your pastor ,there are places where you can feel safe . I know how hard it is to walk out the door , in case you see him , how , from a distance people can look like him , but it does get easier over time . I would ring Lifeline, a telephone emergency service , when I could not leave my house , it helps . Do anything and everything to keep safe , suicide is not the answer , you are stronger than that . We both are . I promise you it will get easier , you will laugh again , you will trust again , it will take time but it will be so worth it . There are so many people who are praying for you , we know that God is with you , God loves you and has an amazing plan for your life , just hold on , one day at a time . Please let us know how you are going , and we will always be here for you . God bless you dear .

Oh luv , my heart goes out to you both , many of the people on Worthy have serious health problems and we understand the confusion , the questioning and sadness that goes with the diagnosis you have been given . The important and wonderful thing is that you've repented your sins , given your life to Jesus and accepted him as your Saviour . Trust him . May I ask why you can't get married now or next week , I know everyone wants the ' perfect ' wedding but marriage for Christians is a covenant between two people and God . If you tell your pastor and friends and family to bring a plate for a celebration , you could get married then , that's what I did . or ask for their help and get them involved they would probably love to help . You can have a honeymoon later . If you truly love each other , marry . We don't know what the future holds for any of us , have a wedding , worship God as man and wife and walk with him . God bless you , a lot of us will be praying for you .
