  1. I feel the same way about those who ignored the scriptures stating Jesus was God and then make the false claim there's no evidence to back up the fact that Jesus was God.
  2. God let Satan. You are familiar with Job's trials? God let Satan have his way in Job's life with one limitation applied by God and agreed to by Satan. That Satan not kill Job.
  3. Again? No. If they haven't gotten through already repeating the same behavior isn't going to change a thing in those who will not see. But, somewhere OneLight asked for proof of people who said those scriptures were false and denied that Jesus was God the Father. So thanks to the two of you for showing him the proof he asked for. God have mercy.
  4. Everything is predetermined by God who created everything that is before it came to be known as what it is today. Isaiah 45 is a great thing to read to help form the answer to your questions . Verses 6 That they may know who are from the rising of the sun, and they who are from the west, that there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is none else: 7 I form the light, and create darkness, I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord that do all these things. Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Everything is fated for the human race as predestined by God who creates it all to be so.
  5. It is exactly what you said but with a level of understanding that your prior remarks didn't show.
  6. Maybe this will get through. that last part that you said? Never happened.
  7. They get two seats. The armrests can be shifted upward usually on their right side since the seating starts on the aisle if possible. It's quite the sight but it beats being mushed between them like the person in the article was.
  8. I think it is a gradual letting go that lets us to trust God in all things. Usually we are always thinking to be in control but if we trust the voice of God's Holy Ghost inside of our hearts we'll never go wrong. Just let go of the need to be in control and let God lead you. It doesn't happen over night. We're so spoiled thinking if we take a pill we'll fix what we've done to ourselves with bad living for years in an instant. Same with finding our way with the Lord. It isn't an instant fox. It's a gradual realization that we can let go and trust His leading in our life. And we'll find we do great things and it feels good being there.
  9. I think we can let our fears overcome our awareness of God's presence in our life. There is really nothing to fear Mat. There is no place you can go where God is not. Don't watch those type movies. They're not good for you because they instill such dark images that your subconscious keeps inside itself as an emotional thing to trigger you. The subconscious can't differentiate between real and fiction. It just records things and your whole body's emotions react and log that away like a heavy stone on your light and airy spirit that should fly free in the peace of God. That kind of fiction portrays the power of the devil as having power over us in this life. That just makes the real devil happy that we're getting emotionally caught up in the what if's that Hollywood makes seem real on screen. The devil uses any means available to get to us. Trust in God. You'll never be alone and nothing can harm you. I'm new here too. God bless you and keep you safe.
  10. I think we all seek Christ sooner or later. Sometimes we come to a fork in our personal road and have to make a choice. Keep going in the direction I've always gone. Or take the higher road and seek the Son. There are many of us traveling those roads and sometimes we end up on an Interstate parallel to one another. Like now. And here in this place. And we know we're not alone even though we're in a personal relationship with the greatest power in all of existence. That's so exciting! I want to wrap my life in the folds of the faith and surround myself with the rightness that is for the good of the savior and my life with him from now on. I've changed so much about myself and it feels so comfortable to be in this new place in my life. Beloved of the King of Heaven. Praise the Lord.
  11. Do you ever hope to read one day that an airline employee does this to someone who just happens to be a lawyer or really high powered attorney? Or maybe that's just me dreaming out my hat.
  12. Absolutely great idea. U.S. | Wed Apr 15, 2009 | 5:29pm EDT United Air to charge obese double on full flights There are little creature cut-outs at theme parks telling all visitors they have to be at a certain height to ride the 2 minute ride they're going to stand in line for for hours. Why not have an airline seat picture with a cutout at booking and at the boarding section of every airline. If a passenger is wide enough to make two people they should pay for both to sit comfortably on a flight. Everything has to be in consideration of payload on anything that flies. Super wide people shouldn't be able to crush other people between themselves. If I was walking and two people the size of Samoan wrestlers walked to each side of me and then ran together crushing me between , I could sue for damages. Why should I pay for that instead on an airliner just for the privilege of getting somewhere quicker than driving in my spacious by comparison car? http://www.independenttraveler.com/travel-tips/none/airline-obesity-policies Airline Obesity Policies
  13. Praise our Father! "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
  14. When Jesus said he was Lord of the Sabbath I think he was saying that he was the God that gave the directive to honor the Sabbath. Man was made for the Sabbath. Not the Sabbath for man. If the Sabbath no longer counts shouldn't there be a scripture wherein Jesus said exactly that? Meanwhile, what could possibly be wrong in worship as a Christian for any Christian to choose one day where they are alone with the Lord God? Everyday we are with God because we are sealed with his holy spirit. Having a day of rest from our work schedule, everyday stresses and duties, so as to commit to a walk on that day with God in this garden that is our life is refreshing. We always go with God. While the world and its noise filters in. Having one day where the world is cast out and we are with God, with no worldly things, like computers, phone, horrible television that's programming is going more and more to the dark side. Even fasting on that day to give our body a day of rest from digesting the heavy foods we love 6 days a week. Honoring ourselves as that temple of the holiest of holy's. Why would that be wrong? How could that be wrong? Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Hallelujah! If you can.
  15. Can you imagine the kind of god that would damn babies to fire and brimstone for eternity and that being called omnibenevolent and a god of love? No. Of course all babies go to heaven. If we return to the Father that created us when we die being we're born again, how could anything less happen to the soul of the new born innocent baby who passes from this world pure and unblemished with sin?
  16. The actual merit of the wisdom taught us that using the wrong definition in a word affords no merit to progress in rational , reasonable, intellectually honest discussion. For instance. If someone wants to discuss classic cars from the early 20th century era but they choose to use their own definition for classic car first. An intellectually honest discussion concerning what is actually classified as classic car is impossible. Because the object , the noun in this case, that is to be addressed is not actually cars that are classic models.
  17. For reference being we've moved on a tad from when that statement was made: [Sounds like you aren't aware that Jesus existed in the form of God before he was incarnated into Mary's womb. He is/was not the Father, but he is the God that Moses knew and saw.] To answer. Yes, of course it is when someone first argues that there is no way Jesus was God in the New Testament. In the beginning before all things was God. God and only God. All that exists was created, born from, made from, materialized from, God. Immanuel was the name of Christ in the beginning of the prophecy of Messiah. As the Angel said his name was to be so as to tell all who heard it among the chosen of God that God was among them. And he demonstrated that with his miracles. And you notice too? He sat among those who were talked about among the chosen and in bad ways. He ate with those the chosen condemned. The tax collector he called to his service.HE shamed those who would talk about their sisters and brothers by sitting among those his apostles thought were unworthy. God the Father is one and the same. There is no other. Immanuel meaning according to God the Father's instruction to the girl mother of our Savior to communicate as God with them, forever settles the claim that Immanuel was not God. He was son of man, because he appeared as flesh and blood for his mission to earth. And he was Son of God, sent of God, because he was God with us. That's God the Father's word. Wouldn't denying that be akin to heresy? Or even blasphemy?
  18. You contradicted yourself there and it seems you are not aware of that. Jesus existed in the form of God...He is/was not the Father but he is the God that Moses knew and saw. The God that called Moshe to serve was I Am. That is found in Exodus 3. Then in the New Testament Jesus himself said in John 8:58 "Before Abraham was, I am." prin abraam genesthai ego eimi. "Before Abraham was existing I Am."
