Irony of ironies.......sinful,ignorant men questioning the integrity of a loving God.....the very fact that he allows that should answer your doubts about his kindness and patience .Read the book of Job....perhaps those who have the nerve to be God’s critics can answer the age - old question. Where were “they” when God hung the planets?Where were “they” when this mean old man in the sky devised a plan that would save anybody that would come to him with a contrite heart? The plan where “ HE” endured unimaginable torture to save you from a fate you more than deserved.He took your deserved punishment so He could give you His Righteousness.Isnt He just awful?Give me a break.

At the risk of sticking my nose in where it does not belong, let me just say I do not only just fail at loving my neighbor as I love myself , I got a few neighbors around my home that I don’t care for at all. I also have an attractive neighbor that I looked upon with lust one time ( perhaps even twice ). I did not pluck my eyes out as I should have . Try as I might, I just can’t obtain the standard that is demanded. I need a Savior and I need Grace— plenty of it! Thank God, I got both . All I did was believe a Gospel thAt saves. I found it in 1 cor15:1-4..... as I said,sorry if I interrupted, but sometimes it’s like shooting fish in a barrel in here and I could not resist

This would appear to be an attack by Satan, aka “ the accuser”. If you are saved,he knows he has lost you and all he can do is try to make you miserable so you will not be able to exhibit the joy God wants you to have so that others will look on you with envy.You should be showing others that you have something that they don’t have and this could spur them on to find faith.You are no match for Satan, but “ greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world.”Pray to God that he show you the truth of your standing— Satan is a liar. God has forgiven your sins and has cast them away “ as far as the East is from the West.” He “ remembers them no more”.Do the same thing with your sins that God does—- put them on the Cross—- and leave them there.A large portion of the Bible was written by murderers ( Moses, David and Paul). They are all forgiven because of their faith.....so are you. Put on the armor of God and tell Satan to go to Hell, along with his accusatory lies.

Yes.....there is plenty of doctrine throughout the Bible, but how much is directed to the relatively new “ Body of Christ” .This is the group I am concerned with, seeing as to how this is where you and I are now.This group of Gospel Believing Christians was a secret known only to God until it was revealed to Paul by Christ.Anything before Acts would not be aware of this Body and some claim that the Books written beyond Philemon were written with future Tribulation Age Jewish Believers in mind.You won’t find Paul’s “ my Gospel” in any of them.So while these Books are great for instruction, etc they are not to be used for our Doctrine.

Perhaps we should define “ doctrine”. I am referring to our instructions concerning salvation of the Body of Christ in the current Age of Grace.The Pauline Epistles are where we find this information.Pauls “ my Gospel”, given to him by Christ is what saves in the Age Of Grace and it won’t be found in the Epistles of James, Peter or John.That is not a criticism of that trio.They all have tons of good stuff that we need to know— but Jesus chose Paul to be His messager to reveal the Mysteries kept hidden by God for millennia—- the church,the rapture, salvation by grace for gentiles,etc Apologies for any confusion caused by me....I am heavily medicated....lol

2 2tim3:16.......paraphrasing here.....all scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for doctrine,correction and instruction......there are different instructions for different people and different times.The Book Of Levitucus is full of directions and doctrine that was great for a Jewish man living in the Age of Law.What was essential and profitable for him has nothing to do with the current day Believer in the Age of Grace—-I do not plan to offer animal sacrifices when I sin.There are not enough farmers around here to keep me supplied with the demand I would create for goats and bulls.

James was writing to the twelve tribes as he stated in the first verse of his letter......he is not addressing the Body Of Christ and he never does....read James for wisdom, but not for doctrine.....that assignment was given to Paul.......All the Bible is Truth and is “ for” us. That does not mean it is “ to” us.

Paul said we are to judge fellow Christians......we are not to judge the world-that’s God’s Job

If you are a member of the Body of Christ, God placed the judgement that you deserve on His Son....in exchange you got His Righteousness.....pretty good deal.....I hope you are a part of His Body ,

I learned more more from Gene Scott and Zola Levitt than I did anybody else —- by FAR! Boy, do I miss both of them. Les Feldick is fantastic, but I don’t know how available he is on television.There are many great places available on the internet and you tube....Renee Roland,Truth Time Radio and Grace Community Bible Church are the best I have ever found.....check them out and enjoy...

Some catholics get saved in spite of the false teachings of their “ church”. Miracles never cease, I suppose....

Sorry, one.opinion........I’ve always been one to cave easily when it comes to temptations....lol....Butero and myself were once engaged in the Great Oy Vey War Of May 2018.....I was forced to surrender when my button wore out from overuse! Oy Veh!

I see see it as the written equivalent to rolling one’s eyes.......I got a daughter that absolutely goes nuts if I do that to her....lol

I agree.......people sometimes need to be “ jolted” from complacancy,ignorance, pride etc.Jesus was an expert at it......just ask the Pharisees who were told they were “ whited sepelchures” and “ blind guides”. Sometimes the truth hurts.A little fear can go a long way.It should not be to the point of needlessly driving people away, but as a former atheist, waking up to my lost condition and seeing that God could get along just fine without me were the motivators to everything that followed.A little “ good cop” and a little “ bad cop” is quite effective I think——- I know it worked in my case.

During my misspent youth, I piled up 3 DWI’s........should have had 3000.If one enjoys paying fines, having super- high insurance premiums and spending nights in jail , drinking is great.Its only by the Grace of God that I did not kill myself or somebody else.One is wise to stay away from the stuff altogether.If you choose otherwise , don’t be the idiot I was.For everyone’s sake,don’t get behind the wheel.Just remembered the motto of my old DWI class—— “ if you drink, that’s YOUR business, if you drink and drive, that’s EVERYBODY’S business”......wise words.

If the day ever comes that you convince yourself that you are “ good enough” to deserve Heaven, I will guarantee your damnation. You are a wise man to be scared.Only Jesus is “ good enough”.One puts their faith in His performance, not their own.If you are ever blessed enough to have the Holy Spirit reveal to you your wretchedness before a Holy God,Then maybe you will turn to the One Whose PERFECT performance can be imputed to you.As of now , you are clueless about what Christianity is. Find a version of Romans you can easily understand and become familiar with it—— at least then you will know what it is and you can decide to believe it or reject it.
