  1. Ogner, whenever you feel you need to judge another, stop what you're doing and come here and take your frustration out on us. You'll feel much better and won't wind up shooting yourself in the foot over it! Cheers Brother!!!
  2. "Sometimes it is appropriate - e.g. I don't give money to panhandlers. I don't think they would be good stewards of the money." Now that's good humor Still Alive!! I can't seem to find that scripture though! Cheers Brother!!!!
  3. "I don't judge anyone." Ogner, you are lying to yourself. You are judging those who you complain are judging you right now. You need to sit back, take a deep breath, and see things for what they are, not what your emotions are telling you. This is a trick of the evil one, to get you riled up and quote scripture in self righteousness instead of righteousness. It happens to all of us, but we are responsible to realize and correct it by asking for forgiveness. Otherwise it to easily can become a habit that jeopardizes your salvation. Make a habit of forgiving those who persecute you as Jesus did. Then you KNOW you're in good company. Cheers Brother!!!
  4. No! We are each judged by the measure with which we judge Ogner. That means those who judge you without love WILL be judged without love. Galatians 6:7 New King James Version (NKJV) 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. We each reap what we sow. If love, we reap love, if evil, we reap evil. You need to forgive those who mean you evil; sowing forgiveness gets you forgiveness. Your issue is not with them but with yourself. 1 Corinthians 11:31 New King James Version (NKJV) 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. Cheers Brother!
  5. Hello Fellowship of the Unashame! Welcome!. Please take Shanee's advise, as you will get many more responses in a thread devoted to a specific topic than you will get here in the Welcome thread. In fact, I'll look for it and comment when you post it. Cheers!
  6. Welcome Star9799! Since you've already received a sriptuirally based answer, let me just say welcome to this forum. Looking forward to seeing you grow in your new life in Christ! Cheers!!!
  7. Tyler, you are doing just fine. Learning to live in Christ (in the Spirit) takes time, so first crawl, then walk, then run. You may want to focus on this as I'm sure you are ready for it. https://www.crossway.org/articles/7-steps-to-walking-the-spiritual-walk/ Cheers Tyler S!
  8. Happy 4th Tyler! If you are feeling guilty, then these thoughts of yours are not from God, but the father of lies. It is impossible for us to deal with guilt as it can only bring us down. You are guiltless through the blood of Christ, so remind yourself whenever these thoughts arise they no longer belong to you, but to Jesus who took your guilt from you at the cross. This is not saying by any means it's OK to still sin, since you are now a member of the body of Christ. If you love God with all your heart, mind, and soul, then your first desire in all you do should be to please Him with the same devotion and motivation you would have with a "first love" experience. Here's a good link to explain this further https://www.padfield.com/1998/sin.html Cheers and Welcome Tyler!!!!
  9. I think I know that site. Extremely clickish and one of the mods doesn't moderate at all. Anyway, I've received a few "Oy Vey's" here and I find them quite amusing. I always take it as a member who doesn't want to face up to the scripture I'm quoting because the scripture is always true, when are posts aren't. As for the "Huh? I don't get it", it too is humerous in a doubting Thomas kind of way, at least for me. Cheers!!!
  10. What a powerful video! Every believer should watch this! Great find FollowerPfTheWay!!! This also is an informative link about Satan. https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/satans-ten-strategies-against-you PS- I'm still LOL about your "boasting" in the welcome to TheWorstSinner thread! Cheers
  11. Hello JesusLovesYou. John 14 English Standard Version (ESV) I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life 14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God;[a] believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.”[c] 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also.[d]From now on you do know him and have seen him.” Cheers because Jesus Loves You!
  12. I have used up my "Likes" for today, so just wanted to say Thank You for your input TurtleTwo! BTW, how are TurtleOne and Three? Cheers!
  13. Absolutely, my mistake. Thank you for catching it Saved.One.By.Grace! Cheers
  14. Everything up to Christ's death on the cross is OT. Hebrews 9:15-17 New King James Version (NKJV) 15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. The Mediator’s Death Necessary 16 For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives. Cheers!
  15. As members of the Body of Christ, we are therefore members of each other. Your sin is my sin, and visa versa. How then can one member ignore another? We cannot if truly in the Body of Christ. Romans 12:5 New King James Version (NKJV) 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 New King James Version (NKJV) Unity and Diversity in One Body 12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink [a]into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no [b]schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. Cheers and

  17. We do not understand the things we see happening in this world, nor do we know where they might lead, but this we do know; God is in control and nothing, not one single thing happens that does not serve His Will. Matthew 6:10 New King James Version (NKJV) 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Isaiah 55:8-11 New King James Version (NKJV) 8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me [a]void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
  18. Good Morning Debp! It never ceases to amaze me how many people are out there with absolutely astounding gifts from God. It serves to show what we humans are truly capable of and is so sad what other things we are capable of as well. I like to think all the actual good we witness is but a hint of the joy we will experience in Heaven. It is truly gut wrenching to know so many who refuse to believe will not share in this, and all for the will to be self righteously ignorant. 2 Peter 3:8-10 New King James Version (NKJV) 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [a]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [b]burned up.
  19. PSALMS 22:22 “In the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.”
  20. Too long? No one will read it? Then it is their loss. I read it and love it. Once again KiwiChristian, you have excelled in matching Scripture to reality. A very special talent indeed! Thank you for your efforts! Cheers BTW-May be of interest: https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Fine-tuned_Universe
  21. Hello Mike! That whole idea of something from nothing is futile, since "nothing" can not exist, at least independent of something. If scientists cast their physics aside, they would be unemployed! This is why they strive to deny the obvious and come up with some new theory, such as dark matter being the source for gravity. Whether it turns out to be or not is irrelevant since gravity's/dark matter's source is the will of God. It simply amazing what some folks will do to avoid the obvious, and therefore the Truth, God's Word. BTW, did you happen to read the post "Science and the Bible" by KiwiChristian in the General Discussion forum? If not you may want to check it out. Cheers Mike!
  22. And that's the bottom line, is it not? Appreciate the honesty! Cheers Siegi91!
  23. To ALL the Dads here, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!! Cheers!
  24. @pgardner2358 wrote: The reason why seeking objective proof of the existence of a spiritual universe is futile will be dealt with in later chapters. ? This is all very fascinating, but your non speculative speculation presumes God must come AFTER the Universe has been created and that God is an evolved entity. What? I appreciate what you are attempting to do here; use science as a conformation of God's existence, but God needs no confirmation and yes, your contention is without any Biblical support. It does not pass Biblical testing. You are also omitting another aspect of science that nullifies all the scientific elements you have employed, the very nature of the matter and energy required for your universe to exist and to evolve. This is of course Quantum Mechanics and the principles of the Observation/Collapse of Wave Function problem, Complimentary, Uncertainty, and Entanglement, all of which have been repeatedly verified and confirmed experimentally. The existence of material things do not exist as we perceive them. Max Planck, considered the Father of QM summed it up nicely when he stated: (As quoted in The Observer 25 January 1931) I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness. Max Planck In 1937 he stated “Both Religion and science require a belief in God. For believers, God is in the beginning, and for physicists He is at the end of all considerations… To the former He is the foundation, to the latter, the crown of the edifice of every generalized world view.” In 1944 he said “As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear headed science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.” This is as close to God as science will ever get, for QM demands a a fundamental consciousness in order for anything and everything to exist. Mind must precede matter. Nothing can exist without consciousness. Not even our own individual consciousness (dependent on our made of matter brains) can exist without the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind, the mind that is the matrix of all matter (and energy). Simply stated, that consciousness is God's, who already is 1. Omnipotent and 2. Omniscient and 3. Omnipresent. BEFORE the Universe and the first matter was created. Genesis 1:3-4 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good, (which is so critical to all matter and all energy, and fundamental to QM to boot!) Please do not be offended with this post. You have your own ideas about God, which I totally understand having lived many years on my own understanding of things. Now I have His ideas about Himself and these ideas are beyond contention and speculation. they are fundamental to all that is. Science will never prove or disprove God, nor will any vocations of man. Only faith explains the reality of God. Cheers pgardner2358
  25. Matthew 6:6 New King James Version (NKJV) 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you [a]openly. Luke 11:1-28 New King James Version (NKJV) The Model Prayer 11 Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” 2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our[a] Father [b]in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. [c]Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 3 Give us day by day our daily bread. 4 And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, [d]But deliver us from the evil one.” Cheers
