I believe the battle in Ezekiel 38 is the same battle as the battle at the end of the 1000 years in Revelation 20.. The Battle in revelation 19 is the battle at the start of the 1000 years.. That is when Jesus will return and rule the earth with the Saints for 1000 years..

Yes.. Anyone can fake it.. A carrier in a church as a paid pastor can be a secure life financially and if you become a famous TV ""evangelist?"" you can end up living in a huge mansion and have your own private jet... So the temptation is there for ambitious unbelievers to learn all about Christianity and gain qualifications and get a place on the gravy train..

As an ex catholic i can confirm without a doubt that i used to pray to Mary.. I prayed the hail Mary probably over 10,000 repetitions worth or more.. Any catholic who denies that catholics pray to Mary is simply engaging in deception..

While sinning is wrong And all Christians would agree with me,, i do not think tempting people to sin is satans primary weapon against us.. Since Jesus has paid the price for our sins on the cross, sin cannot take away the salvation of a Christian if they acknowledge their sins to God and thank Jesus for the atonement He secured for their salvation.. I believe another far more effective tactic of satan is to send wolves in sheeps clothing ( preachers who seem to be knowledgeable people of God ) who deliver a set of doctrines very close to the Word of God but in the end they twist the scriptures just enough to make their religion of no salvational effect.. There are many doctrines of demons denying may essential doctrines of salvation and if a servant of satan can just inject one of them into his new movement and lead people away from the truth of the Gospel to deceive people with ""another jesus"" not the real Jesus of scripture, then many people can be lead to destruction, while all the time thinking that they are saved.. Being close to the truth without standing on the truth is a recipe for the second death..

Oh and PS:: If someone is unjustly launching personal attacks upon you then you can avail yourself of the Ignore feature that Worthy boards provides.. Sadly there are people online who cannot control their tempers and use the tactic of attacking the person because they lack the ability to effectively respond to the ideas / doctrines they disagree with.. So take the time to weed out those people who do not respond in the way Christians should..

Not sure if it is the primary way.. But i believe satan can and does use people who are guided by him to mock attack and persecute Christians.. Ephesians 2: KJV 2 "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" I have no doubt that God allows satan to afflict us in other ways. Just as God allowed satan to afflict Job in the OT.. But i believe that ultimately undermines satan and with Gods help we are strengthened to resist satans tactics and ultimately be overcomers with the LORD.. Romans 8: KJV 28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Critical verse about Prayer.. 1 John 5: KJV 14 "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:" It's all about His will.. If our will is in alighnment with His will then we are willing what is good...

Your denying what Jesus said.. The Meek shall inherit the EARTH.. And Jesus will be here on earth with us.. Don't you know about the great city He has prepared a place for us. The New Jerusalem where we shall live with Him forever more... Where do you think that city will be in eternity? Our Eternal Home is going to be leaving heaven and coming down to us on the New Earth and God will dwell with us... Philippians 3: KJV 20 "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: {21} Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." This verse does not say anything about where our eternal home shall be.. it simply states that we converse with Jesus who is currently in Heaven and that He shall transform us on the day of the reasurection..

Where does the doctrine of a future millenium reign of Jesus on earth state that Jesus is NOT LORD NOW ?????? Nowhere.. When He responded to Pilate that His kingdom was not of this fallen corrupt world He was telling the truth... But that was not Him saying that He would never rule forever and ever on a New earth... Matthew 5: KJV 5 "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth." When do you think the MEEK shall inherit the Earth??? Never in your theology..

After the Day of the LORD ( the return of our LORD Jesus Christ ( WITH His Saints) and his wrath upon the nations) The LORD who is the LORD of hosts will be KING ( KING OF KINGS) in Jerusalem And KING over all the earth.. It clearly states that After the Wrath ( battle of Armageddon) there will be people still alive from the nations that came up against Jerusalem.. And the LORD and His Saints shall be ruling over them.. And these people will be compelled to come up to Jerusalem each year to WORSHIP the KING The LORD of HOSTS in Jerusalem, If they refuse to God will cause them to have no rain in their lands AND The LORD will also Smite them with the plague he smited the army of the beast with when He returned to earth and HIS FEET Physically TOUCHED upon the mount of Olives in Jerusalem.. Now how much more clearer can the above OT scripture be?? Note the above prophecy has NEVER been fulfilled in History.. It is still future.. It is about the return of Jesus and His rule over the World with His Saints during the millennium.. The Book of Revelations and the above scripture also detail how the same day will be darkened..

We can quickly ascertain if a JW is a JW.. All we need do is ask them if they believe in all the official doctrines affirmed by the JW church? You can ask the same thing to a catholic if they believe all the official doctrines of the catholic church? If they reply, Yes i do. Then you can know they are not Christians.. If they answer no then you can start a conversation about the things they do not believe and depending what those things are we can move on with them from there..

The Book of Revelation is part of the NT... Jesus even spoke in parables about the time when he would rule with the Saints Luke 19: KJV 12 "He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. {13} And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. {14} But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. {15} And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. {16} Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. {17} And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. {18} And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. {19} And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities." Just because we may not understand why there will be a millennial kingdom does not mean that there will not be one..

Don't waste your time seeking approval from people who either don't care or have been brought up in such a negative family culture that they have been conditioned never to give encouragement to others.. I was born in a family where my dad Never Ever gave any encouragement or approval of anything i did.. But he was sure quick to express disapproval when i made a mistake or didn't do things his way or if i didn't do it quick enough.. Hello Mikhail Those who follow Jesus Believe Jesus and Trust in the Atonement He secured on the cross for the forgiveness of all their sins... They are not relying on their personal feelings of rightiousness but trusting that the covering of the Blood of the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the Word is taking away all their sins so that when they stand before the LORD on the day of judgement they be seen by God as being white as snow ( sinless ).. If one trusts in the worthiness and perfect righteousness of Jesus for their place with God in eternity, one can be very confident indeed and have no fear.. But if one is relying on their own efforts at being good and worthy one should be in great fear and anxiety because that is the way to the second death.. So understand and believe that Jesus causes us to be Deemed Holy in the Eyes of God because we Believe and Trust in Him..

People only come to that conclusion because of their human lack of total wisdom.. Most supposed contradictions in the scriptures can be understood by simply reading the passage and understanding the context of the verse.. Of course there will always be things that an individual Christian will not be able to explain.. That's why the scriptures state that we must have trust in God which is Faith..

Becoming a Christian is a personal response to the Message of God as revealed through the Holy Bible.. It is NOT and never has been a personal response to what religous person this or religious person that says... You will find internal debate between Christians over many different topics like the one you have mentioned above in this quote.. Also why should you fear what another person believes about the age of the earth or the subject of dinosaurs ? will your life be threatened because someone's belief in regard to dinosaurs? does another persons belief take away your freedom to believe as you believe?? No of course not.. It is irrational to fear another persons opinion especially if they are holding no gun to your head trying to enforce their belief upon you.. Anyway i hope you spend more time considering all the varied positions put forward in this forum and that you also take it as the thoughts of people who's interpretation of scriptures may or may not be correct.. But know this.. The Message of God as revealed in the Holy Bible is the Message that in the end needs to be responded to, Either by embracing it or rejecting it.. When i comes to being saved there is no compromise.. Salvation is by Believing Jesus and trusting in His grace that was secured by His death on the cross.. The Law is true and good and is a guide that reveals to us our desperate need for the grace of Jesus so that we can be saved.. Those who believe God believe His WORD and will agree with the Law that it is good and should seek to resist transgressing the Law and to do good works.. BUT!!!! No one is saved by doing the Law because the Holy Bible clearly states NO ONE does the Law without failure.. So the Law brings judgement and death upon those who seek to be justified by the Law in Gods sight.. Only those who believe Jesus and trust 100% in the Atonement / grace He secured on the cross will be justly forgiven all their sins and be Redeemed by Jesus on the day of the Resurrection of the Saints.. Anyone who tries to mix in their Law or works doing into the Mix of salvation has disbelieved in the effectiveness of the Atonement that Jesus secured on the cross and therefore they will not be covered by the blood of the LAMB of God who takes away the sins of the World..
