To be fair, it is a historical presidency.

It's historical, all right! Being the first black president is all well and good. But that doesn't excuse the other historical part -- doing more to destroy this country than any other, and at record speed. I know not all will agree, but some will.

Cuz that is a load of bull Kat. This country was already in turmoil. This didnt happen on Obama's watch. He feels he is doing what is in the best intrest of the country, just like the president before him and so on.

Me too. It's getting worse each time we get a new one. I shudder to think of what will happen with the next one! I just don't understand why EVERYTHING in this country, including matters of faith (or even baseball), has to be a 'liberal vs conservative' issue and why so many run about with their heads in boxes. That's SO hard on one's perception, IMO.

Yes, and THANK GOD for that! Bush spent at least some time working at the White House while "this one" spends all of his time making speeches and touring around the world. He is quite a "Presenter" made of Hollywood imagery

The thing is, it is your preception that he is accepting this. Just because he doesn't go on national TV to appease you does not mean he accepts it. Man, I have never seen so many people who knew the intents of the heart. I guess some of you should have been on that picture.

Wow - this is weird and I REALLY WAS NOT looking for it - but as of March 11, 2008 - President Bush had spent 879 days on vacation in Crawford.... that's a lot of time.... Now if I can only get this question on Trivial Pursuit!!!

I can show you several scriptures for why he should denounce it.

I can find none to justify "ignoring it." Can you?

Did you know the term "anti-Christ" means "in the place of Christ"?

That picture puts Obama "in the place of Christ."

Would you want to be in that position? To be an "anti-Christ" figure?

Would you ignore it and think that would be pleasing to God?

If it were Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, any of the Apostles - they would denounce it as soon as they caught wind of it.

In fact, Peter, Paul, and Barnabas are recorded as having rebuked people for putting them in the place of Christ.

By the way - there is more to worship than physically bowing.

I can acutually find one that justifies ignoring it.

Heb 12:2 Jesus....who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I believe that being half naked on the cross was alot more detestable than that picture.

Putting a man in the place of Jesus doesn't provoke your spirit at all?

Treating the cross as a symbol for a "savior" when the "savior" has gone through nothing compared to the agony of the cross for your benefit means nothing to you?
