Someone who was not Christian painted Obama depicted as Jesus, therefore Obama is the anti-Christ, soaks it up and basks in his reflected glory. Obama of course had nothing to do with it, but lets not let fact get in the way of things.

Well, it seeems to me that "usurper," "traitor" and "antichrist" are words thown around to express frustration at having lost an election.

Not to mention taking over private enterprise and firing privately hired CEO's and passing bills spending trillions of dollars without people even reading it and knowing where all the money is going just to add a couple . . .

"Anti-Christ" means "in the place of Christ."

By default, that painting in question puts Obama "in the place of Chirst," and thus portrays him as "anti-Christ."

I do not say he is the Anti-Christ . . . after all, John stated there are "many anti-Christs".

As far as Obama's reaction to this painting, if he heard of it he should denounce it if Jesus is his Lord.

I would say that of any Christian. Every saint of God in the Bible would have; I have no doubt of this.

But there is no guarentee he did know of this, and the painting did not go on display anyway - so without evidence he knew of it, nor evidence he did or did not react to this if he did know of it . . . we can't do anything but speculate.

I'm not calling anyone a racist. I was just asking what it was about Obama that filled her with dread. Is it the man himself or his policies?

Well, I don't get 'evil vibes' from the President either but...you really should understand that most Americans don't care about his race. I don't see a black man on t.v....I just see the President and I'm sure that's the case of most people. You've only to look back to the Clinton years to know that conservatives beat up on him constantly too. And I must point out that many, many people pointed to GWB as the A/C; and Hitler for good measure. The political landscape in America is not for the faint hearted.
