WE (citizens) must show I.D. when........

2. Making purchases on a department store credit card.

3. When showing up for a doctor's appointment.

4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.

5. When applying for or renewing a driver's license or passport.

6. When applying for any kind of insurance.

7. When filling out college applications.

8. When donating blood.

9. When obtaining certain prescription drugs.

10. When making some debit purchases, especially

if out of state.

11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.

I'm sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day!

Why should people in this country illegally, be exempt!!!!! (Hint: they're against showing I.D. because THEY have something to hide!)

Why shouldn't we guard our borders as closely as every other country in the world does (Especially Mexico!)?

I can not think of any legitimate reason for not showing proper ID when asked for it by any of the sources you name. You are correct - if one doesn't want to give identity to any of the above-named sources, I also believe they are hiding something. At work - I wear an ID all day and I see the same security personnel almost every day and still must wear and produce it for closer inspection on some occasions.

Remember NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement? It essentially opened the borders between the US, Canada and Mexico. I think that Clinton or Bush Sr. signed the agreement after Congressional agreement. 1994 was the year, so that would be Clinton. 1989 for Canada which is Bush Sr.

Not to hijack the thread in any way or to start an argument but I don't get the whole " This is our land and that is your land and you can't come here unless we say you can " stuff. In the bible days people traveled from country to country all the time and when they arrived in a new land for the most part they were welcomed with open arms and if they so chose they could settle down there and work to make a living for their family and what have you.

God made the earth for all men it was man who later decided that certain pieces of it belonged to him and only him therefore the idea of borders came about. He didn't tell Adam and Eve I have made you rulers over all the earth but you can only rule part of it this other part over here belongs to the lions and this part here belongs to the deer etc... I understand what happened at the tower of babel and as a result different lands and countries were founded because of it but it doesn't say one group of humans speaking one language wasn't allowed to settle down in an area where a group that spoke a different one was also they just wouldn't be able to understand each other.

Some folks claim it has to be that way to make sure the U.S. doesn't become overpopulated but again I don't ever remember God telling folks " Sorry you can't live in Israel it's filled to capacity you'll have to move on down the road some place ".

Yankee, Our issue is not the people coming over. Our issue is with ILLEGAL Aliens.My wife is a legal resident, from Norway, she has a green card. I do not mind any one here legally. The issue is with illegals that come over and do not follow the laws, pay taxes, or even pay for health care. Not to mention the Drug cartels and lord that are killing and raping innocents. Also biblical culture is not biblical law. Invaders of any sort are unwelcome. Many of these some with some sense of invasion. I have had illegals tell me that Mexico was better and the United States, and we should all speak Spanish. An invader mindset is unwelcome. A visitor, or even an immigrant is welcome with open arms, as long as they follow the laws of the land. I think this would have been the same in bible times as well.

There are many countries where id had to be shown for everything and in some cases had to show birth certificate with a letter stating the age. The free movement of people is a smoke screen for the real beneficiaries.
