It's really not MG. When the night raids were doing such a good job and things looked like they were progressing, the Afgan government asked us to stop the night raids....... When we had them cornered way back in the first year of the war, for some strange reason we stopped and let most of them go into Packastan.

Just like Viet Nam, we're not there to win, but to be therre, and when we're through, they will have a civil war and decide themselves who will lead and how, and since vertually all of them are Islam, it is so unlikely that they will have a democracy that it's vertually impossible.

We'll have spent our fortunes on yet another fruitless war that simply lined the pockets of those people that President Eisenhour warned us about when he left office.

and once again "We the People let ourselves be dragged into fighting for nothing that three weeks of carpet bombing could not have accomplished.

just because democracy may seem to work in some countries/cultures doesn't mean that it will work for others. it's different if the citizens of a country write to other governments in request of assistance, but i don't see this is as Britain's or the US's war to fight. like you said, they'll end up sorting it out for themselves anyway, and it does seem like all this fighting was in vain. what do you think?

Personally I see the powers that be setting things up for a global war between Islam and Jewish Christian peoples and draggin in everyone else they can....... and when everyone that's left gets so sick of all the blood and death that will eventually be blaimed on religion, they will turn against all religion and be open for the antichrist to arise and offer peace.
