Let's try some honesty here.

Imagine what Hawking may have accomplished he not gotten cursed. Hawking does not believe in God and seeing as how he is a really smart guy a lot of people people believe what he says.

God thought it would be a good idea to curse this man so his disbelief is doing Satan's bidding. HMMM!

It seems to me that God for some reason wanted to hinder Hawking. If Hawking were healthy he would have gotten more done. It would be in Satan's best interest to have a healthy Stephen Hawking.

I am seriously not following your train of thought.

I am chronically ill. Do you equate that to a curse from God?

Well, considering science as we know it did not exist until somewhere around the 14-16th centuries, I disagree with looking for science in the Scriptures.

I had a vision where I saw stars as flowers. Visions are like dreams - they do weird things. How many scientifically impossible things have you seen in your dreams?

Also consider that John had no idea what a star is, other than a tiny bright spot in the night sky.

John "saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth." Well, I guess that settles it: the earth is flat and square-shaped, or at least quadrilateral in shape. 7:1

When the Bible speaks of "earth" is is referring to "the land" rather than Earth the planet. They didn't understand the planet back then as we understand it. While the mathematicians and astrologers back then discovered that the what we live on is round, they didn't know there was another land mass on the other side.

Thus, the "corners" could have meant the ends of the land mass that makes up Europe, Africa, and Asia that they knew of. Or it could have meant the four directions (north, south, east, and west).

Yes; let's. Just admit you're a God hating atheist and everyone will be better off. Why go through the pretense of being a disillusioned Christian? RE Hawking: actually sin and death entered the world through sin, as the serpent tempted Eve. Hawking is not healthy, because of that introduction of sin. So, your claim that it would be in Satan's best interest to have a healthy SH is quite odd, since the introduction of death and disease was a consequence of Satan's temptation, not God's curse.

Secondly, the bible is quite clear that it 'rains on the good and bad alike'. We are all, even Christians, living in a world tainted by sin and we suffer disease and death as a result. Hawking is no exception.

As for the science in revelation, yes indeed most of it is metaphoric. I do not believe that an honest (in context) read of the bible would support the flat earth.
