I am not a fire and brimestone preacher. When I say ''any chance I get'' I mean anytime me and friends (or strangers) are discussing philosophy. Please do not think I'm someone who spreads the fear of God and leaves out His love.

I don't think that Jesus was speaking to you at all. Why would Jesus tell us to repent for our sins and then say that we will all be saved and don't need to repent?

That contradicts what Jesus taught. That must have been a demon trying to lead you off the path.

Similar experiences occur to those who have had OBE{Outer Body Experience}or NDE{Near Death Experiences}. The Bible teaches us to beware and keep any eye out from the Devil who who seeks to devour all who are not constantly aware of His Presence. Since in the dream state one is not completely conscious, it is much harder to ward off the Enemy. The Demons have the ability to transfer or put thoughts into peoples minds to cause them to fall or sin or to be mislead by deception. At times when Satan knows that He is struggling to have the believer fall from His Loyalty to God, He will try and enter Him in His unconscious state because he/she is much more vulnerable, such as dreams, pretending that it is a Prophecy or a revelation from God.

The Best way to avoid such is to Put on the Full Armor of God BEFORE going to bed also, and praying to the Lord before going to sleep to keep Him from deceiving you in dreams by false and counterfeit visions and prophecies. If you are extremely powerful in the Spirit and and Constantly filled, you have the ability to rebuke this false christ in your dream in the NAME OF JESUS, and the results are that you usually wake up from your sleep. The Bible speaks clearly of Hell as a literal place of torment. And the word of God endures forever and never changes.

Being a new Christian this subject sometimes worries me, in that I could possibly be tricked at some point by Satan. Does he ever tell people something that actually DOES match up with scripture?

Like in this case, satan pretended to be Jesus, but said we don't need to repent to get to heaven, which obviously is wrong. Could he ever try and trick you into believing he's Jesus by telling you something that aligns with scripture, getting you to start listening to him, thinking it's Jesus, but all the while you're being led astray?

Good question. I think that he may tell a lie mixed in with some truth. Example. He may say to go and call your friend Joe and tell him that God loves him and then go to the liquor store and down a bottle of Jack Daniels. Not sure really. I think a scenario like this where it seems the devil or demon makes an actual appearance to someone is actually quite rare. Yes, the devil will try to deceive you all of the time, but not likely in this fashion. In any case, if it doesn't all line up with God's word, it isn't of God.

Personally I don't think that Jesus Christ makes personal appearances anyway. I think He's at the right hand of God for the moment.

The Bible has also given us away to test the spirits. If they say that Jesus is Lord, then they are from God.

Yep, the father of lies may try to fool us with something that is 96% true, but the 4% that is false makes the whole message false.

The thing to remember is... Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. If it does not line up with the Word of God then it is false.

Also remember 1 John 4:1-6, which tells us to test the spirits, through Jesus Son of the Living God. As well as Luke 10:19 which tells "I give unto you the power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing by any means shall hurt you.

The Spirit of the Lord does not cause doubt, confusion or distress, this all comes from satan.

Pray, stay in the Word... I'm reminded of 1 Thessalonians 5:15-23

I always try to call on GOD first ,before i speak to the devil....

Then ...I command satan to get his hands off of me and my life in the name of

JESUS. I bind you satan....in the name of JESUS....

The name of JESUS binds him.....

There is power in JESUS' name, power in the BLOOD, and power in the WORD.

Tell , this to a PASTOR...someone you know that is leading a GODLY life.....

Have them pray over you and your life...

Ok, about a week and a half ago I had a dream. Only now I don't think it was a dream. You see, in my ''dream'' I was in a white room with nothing but Heavenly light. In my dream I assumed I had died and had gone to Heaven. Since I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior since the day I could comprehend His Word, I knew I would go to Heaven.

When I was in the room a man came and grabbed my hand, that man was Jesus. So I thought. He told me that I was on the wrong track. That my approach to spreading His Word and philosophy was wrong. You see, I always preach the Gospel anytime I get the chance. I warn people of the dangers of the Hellfire and rejecting His Sacrifice on the Cross. I have always been a firm believer in eternal Heaven and eternal Hell. I believe that the only way to enter Heaven is to accept Christ.

This ''Jesus'' in my dream informed me that there was no Hell. He told me people had added this to His teachings for political purposes and that the Truth was that all would end up in Heaven with Him in the end. He told me that there was no reason to repent. He said God loves everyone and God created everyone to be exactly who they are. He also gave me some information that I could further use as proof that I was actually talking to Him. He gave me some lottery numbers but insisted that I do not play.

When I woke up I assumed this was just my imagination. The things Jesus told me in my dream sounded like something an atheist or a new ager would say. I figured it was just from me talking to so many atheists and new agers in my life. The lottery numbers he gave me were for a drawing that would take place a week later.

I thought this was only a dream until the numbers he gave me turned out to be right. Upon realizing that this was not just a dream, Jesus appeared to me, smiled, and vanished. Something WEIRD is happening and I need help!

I seriously would LOVE to think this was a relevation from Him but was it? I feel as if this is Satan trying to trick me. What Jesus told me about Hell in my dream seems as if Satan is trying to make me lose my Salvation by denying that the only way to Heaven is through Christ. I need help. If this is Satan, he is attacking me. I have had two encounters with this ''Jesus'' and am afraid it's not him but Satan.

You have had and encounter with a familiar spirit - a demon. When we dream we engage the spiritual realm, the same type of thing happens to those who have done drugs. Question: Have you ever used any mind altering drug to a significant scale? (lsd, cocaine, pot, heroin,etc.) If you have renounce them. Ask God to close the doors that were opened.
