Rockswillcryout,

This is an interesting post, and one that is deeply felt to be needed by many of us here on WorthyBoards. I too occassionally feel like this person due to my lack of communication skills, as well as my introvertive behavior. It can indeed be difficult to see one's self as worthy as well upon taking to account all the sins one has commmited in life. So this post, once again, is one that some if not many of us here at WorthyBoards needed to see.

Amazing the grace and love which God pours out upon each and every one of us...isn't it?

With Love In Christ,

Danielle

Come on now, give God some credit.

If you have repented, then God cannot see our past sins.

If we have repented, and God doesn't see them, then why would any one carry that old burden around. God wants us to repent, so He may be able to wipe away all tears.

Some times, when thinking on this, I think of a little child, who ate the cake in the frig, and made a big mess. so you tell the child how wrong it was, and the child understands and promises never to do it again. Cool, every thing is clear.

BUT, here comes the child 10 minutes later, Im sorry, i really am, i won't do that again, and you respond that its ok, you know it won't happen again, and are glad the lesson was learned, and a few minutes later, here comes the reminder of what happened, Hey, I really really promise i won't do that again, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to do anything wrong. So, your stuck, in this endless loop the child cannot break free of. Every time you are working on something, here comes the I'm so sorry child, till finally its the next day

the next day, tugging on your clothes, I'm sorry, I promise I won;'t get into the cake again and make a big mess, I promise, and on and on it goes. You want to forget, but the child just won't stop reminding you of that thing. Bummer. You reassure the child, but the child just cannot believe you don't want to stay on that subject.

that is how God must feel. He compairs us to sheep. that ain't good. they will not even flee while the entire flock is being devoured by ravenous wolves/serpents. Even a turtle will flee from danger.

God loves all His children, but really hangs out with the "can do" types, the ones who will exercise their faith, all the while waiting for us to receive His message so that we may become the "can do" types.

I think all of us know the "invisible person", don't we? The one who you notice, but not really. The one you see working in the kitchen at church, or herding their kids to school. Sometimes looking a little disheveled because they were running late. Sometimes you notice them staring straight ahead as they scan your groceries and bag them. Maybe you see them walking along 3rd Ave, by themselves, head down, hands in their pockets. Or what about the person sitting in the back row at church, who you've seen before, but you always forget to look for them afterwards so you can introduce yourself?

The invisible person can be found everywhere. They are the ones who doesn't feel good enough, or worthy of companionship, worthy of love, worthy of anything.

Inside that invisible person is a heart that beats just like your heart. It's had it's share of joys and sorrows, failures and successes. That invisible person may seem fine on the outside, but may also be broken on the inside.

And if you feel like an invisible person, be encouraged! There is a God who knows you. You are not invisible to Him. If you listen closely, you can hear Him whisper, "I see you. And you are my child."

And He will heal your broken heart.

Those of us with the gift of mercy see these folks all too often. It's a good thing and a bad thing all at the same time. Those with this gift will understand what I'm saying here. :t2:

Great story Tess. Shows us how the little things can change people and show them the love of God.

If we would only step out of our safety zones and reach out to these.

I know what you're saying Rocks I have felt invisable for most of my life. I have always wanted to be with the popular people, the accepted people. If you don't look a certain way, or wear the right clothes, hang out with the right people, say the right things then you don't fit in.

It wasn't until I came here to Worthy that I felt accepted, and that what I had to say mattered to someone. I've heard so many people say that internet friendships aren't real that people lie about themselves online and you can't trust anyone. I suppose thats true in some respects but on the whole I don't think its true here. I want so much to believe its not true here.

I think you sometimes have to go with your gut feelings and my gut tells me this place is different. I feel a sense of peace, and family here. I know that no matter what time of the day or night I can here and find someone to talk to or pray with.

And I especially like the fact that if you haven't been around for a couple of days you get people sending you PM's to see if you are alright. That speaks volumes to me about the spirit of this board and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Maybe I still do feel invisable in the 'real world' but in the virtual world I feel very much accepted. Thank you all!

God Bless

Marilyn

I've only gotten to the end of this post and the thread you have started and want to say thank you.

I'm really crying right now just from the few lines you have said.

Be encouaged because I NEEDED SO MUCH to hear that, I am so much all of those people you just described and have lived life that way for a very long time. I am the dependable and yet feel so much invisable and to say I am broken inside is an understatement. No one but God knows the brokenness and crippling heartache in me that is starting to unravel my very being not even those closest to me. I feel there to be needed but when I am in need there is only God to accept me because no one else sees or hears. Without Him I would be lost completely.

THANK YOU for sharing.

RWCO!

First of all, you are a GREAT WRITER.

What a great post. We all want to belong, to feel like we matter. We know we matter to God, but there is a internal need often desires someting tangible. God, I think, gives it in the form that we search for.

Invisible, yep!

I have a county job. I work for the welfare office. I like to think that the people on the other side of the counter realize I am a human being and that I want to treat them like one. I work with the cast-aways, the homeless, the liars, the willful sinners, the jobless, the ill, the disabled, the depressed, and the lazy.

Still they are all people created by God... even though they might not always deserve respect due to the attitudes they have we rise above it and react how God would want us to.

God wants us to "increase even more". His mercies are new every morning shouldn't ours be?

That reminds me of a cool story. Last December my brother and I made the mistake of running into WalMart right in the middle of the Christmas chaos. Well, all we were getting I think were batteries but Heath grabbed me and him a Coke and a candy bar and threw them on the conveyor thing. Well...we get up the the register and see this EXTREMELY grumpy old lady doing the checking. She was frowning, visibly irritated, and she goes to scan the Cokes and candy bars. As she slides them across, in a real pathetic voice she goes "Man, that sure would be nice right now". So, without skipping a beat, my brother turns around and grabs one more Coke and one more candy bar, throws them on the counter and goes "There ya go, Merry Christmas" and just smiled at her. You would've thought he gave her a million dollars! Seriously! She smiled, stumbled around and was like "And a very Merry Christmas to you sir!"....As we left we noticed she was like a completely different person. The next ppl to walk up got a smile and a "Happy Holiday" greeting from her...it was amazing to see what such a little gesture could do.....

Tess, the more I read, the more I like your brother.:laugh:

Be Blessed sister,

Wayne

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
