Read a few discussions from somewhat conservative Christian panels, and they were even discussing how building the freedom tower is just one more thing that ushers America into the place of where the Israelites once were.

Well, I have "the Harbinger" waiting on me at the library, and I think I will give it a read. Not too into the fictionish prophecy, but hear that this has some good reviews. What do you folks think, if you read it?

Is it hokey?

Is it an apostate's friend, as one friend of mine called it; and He won't even read it.

Give me your take, and go any angle you desire. Appreciate the feedback before I take a thorough look.

I think we ignore the message at our peril, but I thought the book rather poorly written. The dialogue seemed rather wooden. However when teaching about the message of the book (and the Message of THE Book!), Rabbi Cahn is really very very good!

I haven't read the book but I heard the message preached by J Cahn in 2003 and it was extremely powerful. Basically it's non-fiction written as a fiction book from what I hear?

George Washington's first act of congress was to dedicate our nation to God..and this was at the very spot of the Twin Towers. There have been at least 2 high ranking Democrat politicians (Shumer, Kerry) that I know of who quote Isaiah 9:10 without noticing that this saying was the absolute last straw before God judged and scattered the northern Kingdom of Israel.

Shumer said it at the dedication ceremony of the cornerstone of the so-called "Freedom Tower" being built on that spot. Interestingly, soon afterwards the original cornerstone cracked almost in half while just sitting there waiting to be built upon...and this was also the site of the only sycamore tree in Manhattan...which has now been bronzed.

Many things about this story point to the conclusion that America has not turned back to God, though He has sent many warnings....and our leaders quoting that verse have likely sealed our fate.

Isa 9:8 The Lord has sent a word against Jacob, and it will fall on Israel;

Isa 9:9 and all the people will know, Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, who say in pride and in arrogance of heart:

Isa 9:10 "The bricks have fallen, but we will build with dressed stones; the sycamores have been cut down, but we will put cedars in their place."

Isa 9:11 But the LORD raises the adversaries of Rezin against him, and stirs up his enemies.

Isa 9:12 The Syrians on the east and the Philistines on the west devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.

Isa 9:13 The people did not turn to him who struck them, nor inquire of the LORD of hosts.

Isa 9:14 So the LORD cut off from Israel head and tail, palm branch and reed in one day--

Isa 9:15 the elder and honored man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail;

Isa 9:16 for those who guide this people have been leading them astray, and those who are guided by them are swallowed up.

I never heard about Rabbi Cahn until yesterday and I started watching some of his explanations about Israel and America on youtube-------I'm amazed by the similarities between the warnings Israel got in the O.T. and the States in the time we live in now....

I was wondering too if anybody knows more about Rabbi Cahn and his teachings?

I read the book twice some time ago, and asked my wife to read it and we agreed that quite a bit of it is a bit more of a stretch than I can buy into, but the rest of it is so on it's spooky. So like most other things my personal opinion is that overall his theory is pretty valid, but he goes a bit too far in some of his explanations ant that makes it harder for me to accept the whole.

I didn't read the book but from I seen on youtube it's hard to believe how things exactly happen today as they did before-----I'm watching part 4 right now and will message the link to you and would like to have your opinion ,do you mind?

Maybe the book is a bit different, for me to watch this is stunning that's why I really value your or somebody else their opinions :)

Thanks!

I just finished the book 5 minutes ago. I was initially very skeptical of using one verse to illustrate G-d removing his protection from America, but all of the historical facts presented in the book give it some credibility.

I would certainly recommend it to someone considering reading it.

I found myself going back to the Bible or Googling the phrase "We will rebuild". Even reading the footnotes (which I rarely do)

Its certainly thought provoking.

While I don't want to take away from th epossibilities of the book, I do have to look at that being so "human nature" to say that that it's hard for me to say that it's quoting ancient Israel....... or just a normal common thing to say in that situation.

I've also been watching the USA put itself in a position of total failure, financially, physically and spiritually..... so it's hard for me to say that God is going to punish us when we've actually caused this all to happen with our own actions.

How can you say that God is going punish someone and take your house, when you bought one that costs more than you can pay for...... or how can we say that god is going to punish us for spending more than we make and do so for years and years and years; sooner or later you just can't do that any more......... How can we say that God is putting judgement on us when we elect people who don't have our best interests at heart, and when they accomplish what they have told us they are going to do,,, how can we say that God has punished us.

I am so frustrated with "We the People' that I could just give out one of those big old Homer Simpson screams.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
