What is the status of the US economy?

I saw a post on Facebook with statements such as:

We're out of the recession

Unemployment is going down

Etc.

I was wondering if these were true - or what?

Lies. The media, the government and the financial cartel are all loudly trying to convince the rest of us that everything is ok.

Except that it isn't.

Gold as you know is the universal medium of exchange. Every person and government on the planet knows it.

Yet Ben S. Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, is on record as saying that gold isn't real money.

Either this man is an idiot or he is a liar of great magnitude.

Consider gold. Who has it and where is it?

According to every reference you can find, the United States has more gold than any country on earth.

Does it?

If so, where is it?

Has anyone done an audit, a simple inventory count?

The answer is no. Therefore US claims of gold supply are false.

A few years ago Ron Paul was a member of the US Gold Commission. During his tenure there he and a fellow member (I forget his name) sponsored a bill before congress to audit the US gold supply. Just count the stuff. The bill was defeated.

In 2011, Mr. Paul was no longer a member of the gold commission. One man there tried to submit an audit bill again, but this time no one would sponsor it.

The truth is that nobody knows how much gold the United States has or hasn't got.

Remember August 15th, 1974?

On that day the United States defaulted on its promise to exchange gold for dollars. At the time gold was $35/oz.

Where's the gold?

In every community in the land there are multiple establishments BUYING GOLD. There are even ads on TV to buy your gold.

Know what? They aren't selling it.

Go into ANY pawn shop and ask to buy a gold coin or gold jewelry. No coins are being sold AT ALL. I've even had proprietors laugh at me for asking.

There is a little bit of gold jewelry still available. Just a little.

My wedding anniversary came up recently and I thought I'd buy my wife a gold chain or something. First I went to Walmart, then Penny's and finally to a retail franchise jewelry store - the upscale type. Walmart didn't have ANY gold chains. Neither did Penney's. Oh yes, they had gold filled, one or two pieces of hollow gold and very little silver. The upscale stores didn't have any in the case either, but a clerk told me she' be happy to order something out of the catalog.

Know what Walmart is selling? Steel jewelry. STEEL. Check it out for yourself.

For over two years the US mint would not sell gold coins to the individual collector. Their web site said that there was none available. Some coins from that period ARE turning up here and there, which tells me that the mint was indeed producing coins. To whom did they sell them? They certainly weren't selling them to individual citizens as the law says them must.

The gold market has been rather stable for the past six months. Check it out.

Gold prices usually reflect a good, bad or indifferent economy. If we use this slack market as a guide we might come to the conclusion that things are good; economically. However, the lack of gold in the market for jewelry, collections and trade as well as congressional desire to hide what we've got (or not got) makes me very nervous.

If there's nothing to hide, then why is the government and the banks trying so hard to hide it?

Yes..the federal Government helps the vets. ...but, can you imagine if all of the U.S. troops were to come back home...

rent, vehicles, and for their childrens needs and to send them to school or college.

Those that are still in the military.... the economy is hurting them in these areas, already...

Of course unemployment is down. People are running out of benefits. The jobless rate however is probably up.

hmm i dont think we can even afford that. sadly. i would glady pay for that in taxes.but you must only mean guardsmen and reservists. the active guys arent hurting unless they ets. ets at this time is a hard thing if one has a family.

All we can do is not to vote for Obama.

That is so wrong...because , at retirement age ...what you get monthly depends on what the total sum....

of the individuals' income work history is. Then they figure the percent you get.

If they go down on pay, in which it is low as it is...

...your retirement check will not be sufficient enough to live on.

That is terrible.

Obama sure dips into the American peoples' checks... in every cornor , nook, and cranny, that he can get his hands into.
