Aromatherapy, is it ok?

I don't know where the rest are getting their info but it is not right. This is witchcraft pure and simple. Any thing that is used to "sooth" the soul apart from Jesus is through another spirit. just search "Aromatherapy occult" and see what you get. Why is there no spiritual understanding in the church?

I like burning candles don't know if it's the same as Aromatherapy.

I use candles for light mostly because the electricity goes out alot. Lat night it helped with our 89 kt winds. It was so hard to drive home with it snowing and the 89Kt winds. It was kind of scary.

I use candles also for to scent my house up, especially to get rid of that fish smell or wet dog smell.

I like Honey dew and sugar cookie smell.

It is a proven fact that certain smells have an effect on the body. There is nothing wrong with it, as long as you don't take it to the level that the "New Agers" have. Some nice vanilla or lavendar is very good for relaxing. And chocolate, it has antioxidizers that help fight certain cancers. Just don't eat five pounds a day. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Smell has a more basic function that in humans is quite weak compared to most animals. We can use our sense of smell to tell if something is worth eating or even palatable. Smell can sometimes warn us of danger in advance of any unpleasant encounters. We have all heard that a dog can smell your fear. I can only surmise that many of our other motions must have a detectable scent tied to them as well.

I wonder, if pagan rituals took place in fields of fresh wildflowers, would there be folks saying we shouldn't be seen or go into fields of fresh flowers. I am certain that we are not judged by what we do so much as we are judged by the intent we had in committing that action.
