I hope this question is not too difficult?

Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD. Proverbs 18:22

Why did the Bible not say that she who finds a man obtains favor of the Lord?

Perhaps Because Men

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Ephesians 5:25

Are Often A Little Bit Knuckleheaded....

Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Colossians 3:19

And Their Women Still Love Them Anyway

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Genesis 3:16

Greatest answer ever, Joe   !

But in this passage Solomon is showing how men inherit houses and riches from our earthly father, but a wife is from the Heavenly Father.

Houses and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

Proverbs 19:14

So as a single man, may I say to all you Christian men who are married you have been doubly blessed by the Lord.  So PLEASE Thank God for this wonderful gift He has given you.  Some of us men and even women wonder if we will ever receive this blessing.

Joe I agree so very much that if men would love their wife as the Bible told the men to do "WOMEN COULD LIVE  IN HEAVEN here on earth, but since we're living still on this fallen world,we have to put up with a lot of self which comes in the way very often :(

True words being said about men can be knuckleheads, but on the other hand we don't act always Godly either, its a struggle........good and bad days! But in the end we wouldn't want to start all over again and look for a wife or man..:)

Can you explain the ruling from the man over the women? I know they are the head of the household, but shouldn't the ruling be in agreement if it's not against Gods word?

The Guy May Rule Over Her Heart

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Genesis 3:16

But As I Read It, In God's Eyes She Is A Gift

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. Proverbs 18:22

And A Responsibility

Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Colossians 3:19

And Not Something Created

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Genesis 2:18

For Some Big Fellow's Whipping Stick

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Ephesians 5:25

But I Have Never Read In The Book

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. Proverbs 31:16-17

That The Fellow Rules Over The Household

She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. Proverbs 31:20-21

Must Be Some Heathen Thing Pagans Slipped Into Our Marriages

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:25-27

And Perhaps A Reason Some Of Us Guys Are Poor Is We Rule When We Should Bless

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Proverbs 21:28-31

It is not a matter of level of difficulty, but you are asking a question that is impossible to give a definitive answer to.  You are asking us why God didn't say a certain thing in his Word, and how can anyone really answer that, besides God himself?  All we can do is speculate, which I will attempt to do.

When God created man, he said it was not good for him to be alone.  He created the first woman to be a help meet for him, and created her from his rib.  If it is not good for the man to be alone, it stands to reason that when he finds a wife, he finds a good thing.  I think it has more to do with the fact that the woman was created for the man, rather than the man being created for the woman, that the scripture says this about the man, and not about the woman who finds a husband.  That is what I believe is the case, but only God knows for sure.

I think the answer is self explanatory.

Why do we need to state the obvious.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
