God created sex and it is something to be enjoyed between a husband and wife.  It bonds them intimately of course and the two shall become one.  Also remember animals have sex as well.  If there wasn't sex then none of us would be here.  There is a reason and a place for it here on Earth.

I think the scripture is pretty clear that we won't be having sex in Heaven.  But we will know each other probably more intimately than ever dreamed of on Earth.  We will also enjoy pleasures, being in God's presence, exploring all the worlds God has created, and they will be so much more than sex that it won't be missed.

It has its place and need now but won't have a place or need then.

It actually doesn't say in the Scriptures marriage will not exist in Heaven, it says we won't be given in marriage; alluding to no one getting married while in Heaven.

Eden is God's will for mankind for always, and we are being restored to that in Heaven; if God put Adam and Eve together in Eden (translated The House of Pleasure), and then they had fellowship with Him, it will be the same in Heaven. And even if it isn't called marriage in Heaven, it will be something better. Why would God put us together in Eden, say that He's the same yesterday, today and forever, yet rip us apart in Heaven? That doesn't make sense Scripturally or logically.

It is the same for the sexual organs - if God didn't give us those parts until after leaving Eden, then there would be a point, but the problem for those who don't want sex in Heaven is that He DID give them to us in Eden and so sex was there (the Scripture does not say they did not have sex UNTIL they left Eden, it says they had sex and conceived after they left Eden. But this information certainly does not preclude or even suggest they did not have sex in Eden).

God is not interested in needs, He already promised in Phil 4:19 He would supply them all - what kind of Father wouldn't? He's interested in your wants; Mark 11:24 - whose desires is Jesus referencing? Not His, YOURS. Why delight yourself in the Lord? So He can give you the desires of your heart (now why would He tell us that if He doesn't want us wanting things?). The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not WANT (not need), meaning, He gives me all my desires, I don't have any wants left.

Sex is not about need, it's about want. Children are not needs, they are wants (Psalm 127). God thinks rather highly of sex or else He wouldn't have made it and would have made a different way to have children as well. It's HIS idea, not ours. Every desire is good, unless the devil can twist to make it evil. That's why people are so against sex in Heaven, because the devil has tried to convince them it's evil when it's holy and good (again, otherwise God would not have made it).

Sexual organs (for SEX) would not have been called GOOD by God when He saw His creation if they weren't good, note this is PRE-CURSE. So SEX, BEFORE SIN, was called GOOD by God.

I would think that our relationships in heaven with each other will be more fullfilling than a sexual relationship.

I'm afraid it actually does.

Matthew 22

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.

No, that is incorrect, it does not say marriage is nonexistent in Heaven. Let me explain:

When Jesus says they neither marry, this is referring to men (because men marry), and when He says nor are they given in marriage, this is referring to women (because women are given in marriage). HE DOES NOT SAY MARRIAGE CEASES TO EXIST. This is one point.

The second is, marriage was instituted IN Eden (God's will for all mankind - He is the same yesterday, today and forever - whatever you see in Eden therefore shall also be in Heaven, for both are God's perfect will for mankind, the only difference will be that we will physically be in Heaven as opposed to being on the Earth). Therefore marriage IS in Heaven. And for those who cannot get married in Heaven I am sure He has something up His sleeve. It is interesting that with no Scripture to back up angels being unable to have sex people automatically assume this must be the case (they seemed to know what to do in Genesis 6).

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
