If you don't mind me asking, but explain yourself? First, what makes you think were in for a major power loss, and second, assuming we did lose the power grid, why would that require guillotines?

It struck me that you can very well  question Revelations' itself about this point. Why beheading in the end times? Certainly there are other ways of killing people - starvation for one. Would you be able to come up with any answers - some have already tried. As far as the reason, I mentioned power grids is that it is a discussed and distinct possibility, maybe even in the book called, "Aftershock." Our currency becomes almost worthless, the banks shut down, the supermarkets etc., there is chaos and people will not be going to their jobs.

Really I watched and not one of the following points were discussed:

Will the shutdown mean the entire US government grinds to a halt?

No, it's not an anarchist's (or libertarian's?) dream. Essential services, such as social security and Medicare payments, will continue.

The US military service will keep operating, and Obama signed emergency legislation on Monday night to keep paying staff. But hundreds of thousands of workers at non-essential services, from Pentagon employees to rangers in national parks, will be told to take an unpaid holiday.

So what happens how?

US politicians are meeting again in Washington on Tuesday. Before Monday's session broke up, the lower house proposed a 'bipartisan committee' to consider a way forward. The Senate is expected to reject this proposal, sticking to its position that Obamacare cannot be unravelled. Federal staff will remain unpaid until a budget is agreed. A 'stopgap' funding plan is an option, but Obama appeared wary of that option, arguing that would simply guarantee a repeated fight in a few weeks' time.

How much damage will it cause?

If people aren't getting paid, they won't spend as much in the shops. They may be unable to meet essential financial commitments, such as mortgages and credit card payments.

Analysts at IHS Global Insight have calculated that it will knock $300m a day off US economic output (total US nominal GDP, or output, was around $16 trillion last year).

The key issue is how long it lasts. Moody's Analytics reckons that a two-week shutdown would cut 0.3% off US GDP, while a month-long outage would knock a whole 1.4% off growth.

When did this last happen?

It's the first shutdown since 1995-1996, when Bill Clinton and the House of Representatives (and its speaker, Newt Gingrich) also failed to agree on a budget to fund federal services. That row ran for 28 days (over two stages).

But it was a more regular event in the 1980s, usually for a few days at a time. In total, the US government has partially shut down on 17 occasions before today.

I think 30,000 bullets would be far more effective and a lot cheaper.

 

The Chinese use them, and I am told have sent the bill for one bullet to the next of kin. Now that's odd, but it beats the chopping block theory.

Ok so just maybe they have read our Christian Bible..seen the end times movie we've all seen where gillotines are used to behead Christians...and they don't like us so they have decided to ensure our worst nightmare comes true....

Yes, Fez it's an odd thread. But we're living in "odd" times: who would ever think the Democratic Convention would be against God in its Platform - even when they voted and allowed God back in, the nay's (who opposed God) won. Isn't odd that security is used more domestically then on Al Qaeda? The IRS, Snowden for example. Isn't it odd that a lot of anger is building up towards Christians? An example would be Obama making fun of the Beatitudes (look it up on youtube). Isn't it odd that in the Middle East, we are concerned in terms of freedom and better government while in Africa which had and is having its Christian Holocaust ignored (Left To Tell - book)? Isn't it odd that are Supreme Court does not accept God's own rulings? Also the DSM - diagnostic manual on emotional and mental disorder's - issued a new definition on pedophiles, yesterday - I refused to read it, for a time. They also deserve to be understood. Is that odd?

well if you work really hard you could kill someone in about three minutes each...   that would be 20 an hour...  lunch and breaks and cleanup if you worked hard one could do in 100 a day for each of the machines.

 

30,000 0f them at a hundred a day would be 3 million a day....  5 days a week we could 15million a week.... we could kill the entire population of the USA in a bit less than six months....    that really is a bit more impressive than 30.000 bullets,. 

 

but my problem is that I've hears about these things for about 20 years but no one can show me good pictures that i can check for tampering or tell me where they are so i can go see for myself.  We've been to the east coast and/or the west coast each year for the last ten years and could have stopped off to check them out.   I've checked out a dozen supposed FEMA camps and only found one.... I had several friends at Prophecynews that helped me check out about 50 sites three or so years ago ans found nothing but active prisons or military bases.  granted they might be used for that some day but empty places with gas furnaces just didn't check out but for three possibilities....

 

 

I've been here for a long time and you who have been here for a while know i a long time conspiracy person.......  so I'm not an unbeliever of these things oak....   but I've been lied to by just about every side if these things so i don't trust anyone...

Well if it were here, in 30,000 offices would be my guess.

 

I have one in my office. We use it to cut paper, but the industrial ones are used to trim paper reams, and some to cut metal.

But we're living in "odd" times: who would ever think the Democratic Convention would be against God in its Platform - even when they voted and allowed God back in, the nay's (who opposed God) won. Isn't odd that security is used more domestically then on Al Qaeda? The IRS, Snowden for example. Isn't it odd that a lot of anger is building up towards Christians? An example would be Obama making fun of the Beatitudes (look it up on youtube). Isn't it odd that in the Middle East, we are concerned in terms of freedom and better government while in Africa which had and is having its Christian Holocaust ignored (Left To Tell - book)? Isn't it odd that are Supreme Court does not accept God's own rulings? Further, I'm not happy with the fact that if you mention "conspiracy," you're labled crazy - probably ready for a FEMA visit. As a quick historical fact, you should know the Peasant Rebellion in England, the storming of the Bastille in France, the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, and WWI, were very well financed and planned. The evidence is overwhelming just go to your local library. I mention these because no one will really debate them, now.

 

Finally this post is very special to me because I lashed out in anger and received answers of love and kindness. Now that's the stuff that keeps me going and believing.

I had to go look that up. It is something I always said was the next step, with polygamy, after gay marriage starts being accepted.
