A noteworthy observation;

 

The whole Western Hemisphere may not be around by the time Mystery Babylon falls.  Take a close look at the 1st Trumpet in Rev 8:7;  The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth.  A third (1/3) of the earth was burned up, and all (100 percent) the green grass was burned up.

 

If one looks at a world atlas and considers land masses, it is interesting that the whole Western Hemisphere (North, Central, & South Americas plus Greenland, Australia and New Zealand) equals exactly 33.333 percent of the total world land mass.  This is just a strong observation,  Scripture is very exact with numbers.  So Washington D.C. and the United States are probably out of the picture of being Mystery Babylon.

Interesting observation you have made there.

 

Approximately 1/4th of the worlds population is also based in those same areas.  This observation may be tied to; Rev 6:8b - They were given power over 1/4th of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

 

Just a note, what happens to areas which have had severe life killing plagues?  Bodies are burned..

For those who want to say around, get out of the Western Hemisphere.

What you are speaking of ... being destroyed in one day, or actually in my bible it says one hour, is refering to babylons headquarters.  which will be in Jerusalem.  Jerusalem is where the antichrist will rule from.  read in matt 24 it talks about those in judea fleeing into the mountains.  also read in chapter 12 of revelations it talks about "the woman" aka Israel given two great wings of an eagle to "fly" into the wilderness for a time a times and a half time(3.5 years)  There are also other scriptures which is revealing to this such as ones that speak of the abomination of desolation.  The image set up that people will be forced to worship will be set up in Jerusalem in the temple.  The false prophet is going to be the one to "give life unto the image and cause it to speak"  If you care to get a good picture of what it will be like read in daniel.... worship the image or die.

Church basicly means assembly.  If you were to actually look up what I said, do some research on this, you will find the people all over the world in the usa in europe and many other countries are involved in this "new world order.  these people have a hierarchy.  they call a good number of them "orders"  such as order of the 500 and order of the 30 and one of the highest if not the highest is order of the 13....  as in 13 witches in a coven.  some of the ones in the highest order are reporting "they have found one that may be the son of lucifer."  this is their words.  all these people of these secret socioties are this "church" or "assembly."  They are the one pulling strings behind the scenes to form a one world government.  this is the woman that rides the back of the beast that is the world powers.  When you ride a beast you guide it where to go, like say for instance a horse.  When you read babylon is fallen is fallen in revelations its talking about the powers and rule of the anti christ in Jerusalem.  It is not the vatican.

the mother of harlots.  Prostitution has been said to be the oldest profession on earth.  Not sure I agree with that but it goes way way back.  If mystery babylon is the mother of harlots that means she brought all harlots/harlotry to the earth.  then it says Abominations of the earth.  Now who would it be that brought abominations to the earth?  Abominations is plural.  This is clear it is the source of all things detestable to God and this would be the devil.  In the book of revelations is the final battle between good and evil.  I really like how it says babylon is fallen is fallen as past tense.

oh yeah just a side note on what I was saying about those "mystery schools"  they have teachings like Jesus was taken down from the cross and lived to be old.  They teach also that thru certian teachings and learnings you become enlightened to the point of becoming a god(little g).  now where have we heard that lie before.  that same lie is taught in new age religions, this spiritualism, scientology, freemansons that are of higher levels and orders.... and even back to the garden of eden....  "you will not die, for God knows when you eat the fruit your eyes will be opened. "(there is nothing new under the sun)  if you do a word study on the word for "the tree of knowledge of good and evil"  it literaly means to close or fasten your eyes, so the lie actually goes like this....  if you eat the fruit that closes your eyes your eyes will be opened. 

The antichrist will decieve many the bible says.  the false prophets will decieve many.  do not believe it when they say lo, He is in the desert.  deception is the tool the enemy will use to rise to power, and because many have rejected the truth and God, He will give them over to believe the lie.

If you track the Mystery Religions after the Fall of Babylon (Proper)  and after they left Pergamos, they lead dead smack on top of Rome and The RCC.  When Constantine et al decided to make Christianity Legal..... they put a Christian Facade on no less than 3 Sun gods:

Marv, I fail to see the connection between what you posted above here. So what all those land masses you mentioned equal one third. I don't think you can correlate that to the one third reference in rev 8:7. That sounds like somebody is fishing for interesting tidbits to scratch itchy ears.

It makes no sense to me to say all the Americas plus are the one third that will be gone but all the grass throughout the world will also be gone. I'm sure you could say India plus Africa is one third of the land mass, or any other combinations. I especially found it stretching to make the one third point by throwing in Greenland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Satan was in charge of the Earth when Jesus was here and offered it to him for his worship.... Jesus said no...... unfortunately others have not turned down the offer...... and soon the Antichrist will be offered it all as was Jesus, and you all know where that ends....

BTW, None of the Western Hemisphere is mentioned in any form in going to Armageddon.  Only the armies from the East, North, South and A/C's army go toward Armageddon.    North; Russia, Asia,  East; China, South; Africa, A/C's army; Europe.  These areas need to be around to fight at Armageddon.  The rest are expendable.

India and the countries East and West of it need to be part of the 1/3rd of mankind killed by the 200,000,000 man Army (6th Trumpet) from the East (China), so they need to be fed and be alive.

 

The grasses will grow back in the other areas, those not in direct line of of fire from heaven.  Think about it, who needs to be in play for Armageddon, the rest are expendable.
