That is an interesting question.  I would venture a guess it was destroyed.  It serves no more purpose.  In heaven, there is the knowledge of all truth.  Once Adam and Eve partook of the fruit of that tree, the knowledge of good and evil was unleashed upon all the inhabitants of the earth.  At first, I thought you were asking about the tree of life, which I believe to be in heaven, but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil likely no longer exists, but only God knows for sure.

Why do you think the tree of life is in Heaven ?

What happen to the garden of Eden ?

Because of those scriptures that DeaneRenata posted from Revelation 22.  I had them in mind when I gave that response, but she posted them, saving me the trouble.  The garden of Eden is an interesting question.  Perhaps God moved the entire garden to heaven?  I have pondered on it before.  Perhaps God uprooted the entire garden, and the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil are both still in the garden?  I don't think they are on the earth anymore.  Only God knows for sure, but that makes the most sense to me.

In case God did not remove it, it pretty much got flooded at the times of Noah, I gather.

Based on Revelation, we know there is still a tree of life.  You are correct about Noah's flood, but once the waters subsided, trees and plants somehow survived, so there is no reason to believe that the flood alone destroyed the garden of Eden.  If the garden of Eden is still on this earth, you would think that by now, someone would have discovered it.

I think that it is on the earth why I think so the rivers are still here from when the source of them are from the garden

Also no one know where Moses grave is up to this day . God can do all things  :mgcheerful:

All I know is that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was in the garden of Eden.  God cut Adam and Eve off from entering into the garden of Eden after the fall.  So from there they couldn't get back in the garden so I suspect the tree of the knowledge of good and evil remained in the garden.  The Lord set an angel at the entrance of the garden with a flaming sword in order to make sure they could never entered into it again.  I would guess after the banishment from the garden the human race started to multiply outside of the garden.  And over time probably no one knew for sure the exact location of the garden any more as the earth was being populated.  But I do know that when the earth was destroyed in the flood that everything in the earth was destroy all except what was in the ark of God.  So then from that perspective I believe that the garden of Eden was also destroyed forever at that time along with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

There are two problems I see here.  First of all, we know the tree of life still exists as it is mentioned in Revelation, and it was in the garden.  While all living creatures were destroyed, I am not sure that includes all plant life.  Here is why.  Remember the method Noah used to figure out that the water had subsided from the earth.  He sent forth a dove, and when it came back with an olive leaf in it's mouth, "Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth."  Genesis 8:11,  Noah brought animals onto the ark to preserve them, but it says nothing of plant life, so if they were destroyed, how did they come back so soon?  I think it was creatures with the breath of life in them that were destroyed, though I can see how it could appear plants were destroyed as well.  Genesis 7:21-23 says...

And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:  All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.  And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth:  and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

Now in this passage, it does say "every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground," but it goes on to tell us what that substance was:  man, cattle, creeping things, and fowl of the heaven.  It never mentions plant life.  One thing I would have to ask is if the garden is on earth, and does still exist, but man hasn't located it, are there still Cherubims and a flaming sword guarding the entrance?

man some of you gals and guys need to go back to basic Bible 101:

Gen 3:24

24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

You've made some good points.  I would tend to think that if the garden of Eden is still around in the earth then the cherubims with the flaming sword is still there guarding the entrance even today. And if this is the case then both the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life would still be in the midst of the garden.  It kind of reminds me of the story where Moses disobeyed God and he couldn't enter into the promise land as a result.  Then Moses died and their was a fight over the body of Moses and the angel said the Lord rebuke you.  Nobody knows where the body of Moses was buried at as the Lord buried him.  It's just one of those hidden secrets or mysteries in this life.

I think you are right.  I have actually had to change my mind about it's location since I first joined the discussion.  It probably is still on earth.

To HisDisciple3, what are you talking about?  We all know about that scripture, and it has been brought up more than once.  The question is about where the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is today.  Do you have an answer for that?

Blessings Everyone,

I always thought of it as being in another dimension as other one suggested...........I believe in the same dimension where the angels are so are many other things parallel to our little dimension.......Gods Word tells me it does still exist so of that I am sure......where,that is left to my imagination.?...for now!

Do you think that Adam willifully took of the fruit from Eve ?

Posted

That is a good question, and one I have asked myself.  The Bible never says.  We know Eve was deceived by the serpent, and willfully chose to disobey God's command, but we don't know if Adam was even aware of where the fruit came from that Eve handed to him.   I used to assume he did, but now I am not sure.

Blessings Izzel.

I guess, even though you did not address me by any salutation ,that you are asking me specifically as to whether or not Adam willfully partook of the fruit offered by Eve because you posted my quote? I never do know who anyone is addressing most of the time -lol

Anyway ,if it is my opinion you are looking for ...I have to say I really do think Adam knew exactly what he was doing at the time as he was overcome by shame & guilt just the same as Eve was,,,,,,,,,just my little 2 cents

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
