May the peace of God be unto you all,the scripture says" in the multitude of counsellors there is safety,I ask this question base on what i heard from a servant of God and what i has been experiencing for some weeks now, does God manifest everywhere? A preacher said that God is everywhere, doesn't mean God manifest everywhere, iam seeing this as a very big problem to myself, when i was living in my former area/compaund,God usually speak to me through dreams,or throught His word in a dream or trance or revelation, when ever something good or bad is about to happen to me,God will revealed it to me,before it happen, but ever since the day i relocate to another compaund.my spiritual vision and candlestick has disappeared, and without it, i will be working in darkness, does the people or the friend someone live or move about with have any influence on what is happen to me,or is it because of the compaund i live, iam just confuse,i has been praying and asking God to restore my spiritual vision, the first and lask time God spoke to me in a dream through his word.it was Revelation 2:4-7" I have been asking myself what did i do, what goes wrong, please your advice can be of help.

God can be everywhere at once because He sends His Spirit everywhere., and that is just as effective as if God were standing right next us.

Did you live by yourself before moving to that place? Influences from other people living with us can disrupt our inner peace sometimes.

I so agree with AGTG that praising God aloud and telling of His wonderful works is a form of spiritual warfare. God has been faithful to me when I have done this. But there is no formula. A formula doesn't work. God simply inhabits the praises of His people and the enemy cannot withstand His Presence. You might even read the Psalms aloud, such as 110 to 118. 136, 145

We don't often see that God use trances today but I see both Peter and Paul mention having had them. They are most often mentioned in connection with the occult. But I can't say it is impossible or not of God. Perhaps people have them more often but are unaware that it is in fact a trance. Balaam had one in Numbers 24:4 and in this case it was the Spirit of God that came upon him "who falls down with eyes wide open" "Who hears the words of God, Who sees the vision of the Almighty." Perhaps that was what happened to John when he was "in the Spirit on the Lord's Day." Just a thought.

I also believe that God is still with you and in you. Depend on the promises in His Word. "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Don't let fear take hold of you. You don't have to depend on dreams and visions to keep you safe. You can depend on the Person and character of God. He is faithful. And read Ephesians 6:10-20 again.

But I have also been in "dark" places while traveling through our country. It was a sense of oppression over an area and I can't say that I understand it. One was San Francisco where there is much ungodliness and the other was Utah where the cult of Mormons is in control.

Blessings, brother. I will remember to pray for you.

Willa

God bless you Willa:i appreciate your opinion and word of encouragment, indeed in the multitude of counsellors, there is safty.just that iam use to it,when ever iam seeking the face of God,for a paticular thing, God usually reveal it to me in a dream or trance, before it will manifest physically, there was never a word of knowledge i received from my bishop, that God doesn't revealed to me before i heard it from my bishop, but this days it has been a different story.but in all things i give God the glory.

Blessings Jerry,

Praise & Glory to God.....His Love endures forever,He is more than Worthy of our Highest Praise!!!!!

Well,God can & does do whatever He wants, whenever  He wants & however He wants and that is just the way it is......sometimes we get very used to the way in which He communicates with us & then for whatever reason He has, that changes but our relationship with Him does not and we must trust that He knows what is best for us,I do not care what powers or principalities are in our midst ,if God wants to make His Presence known or get a message to us , He can & will.

Sometimes we can find ourselves in areas that are more oppressed by others & we can encounter demonic opposition from place to place but that should not ever interfere with our walk & although God may seem silent we are to remember to be secure & confident in His Word,we will still Praise & Worship Him,we will still pray,we will still spread His Gospel & we will still give Him Glory....................that is what FAITH is a ll about, believing in what we cannot see......perhaps God tests our faith in this way from time to time, give Him Praise,Honor ,Glory & Thanksgiving for the hope we have in Christ Jesus

                                                                                                   With love-in Christ,Kwik

Here is a question to consider.

If you know that God is everywhere, why does He even need to MANIFEST?

Think about it.

If I believed that you were everywhere .... would I ask you to "show yourself" right here as I type this response?  No, I wouldn't.  If I did, that would be an indication that I lacked true belief that you were everywhere ... right?

No, God is not manifested everywhere.  He doesn't need to.  If He did, there wouldn't be enough space for everyone and everything else.

God bless you@Donibm:my bible tells me never to lean on my own understanding,i see myself as a good listener who desire to learn, to the glory of God,please what exactly are you insinuating,by if God is everywhere,He doesn't need to "MANIFEST" I believe there is powers, and I believe power pass power,i think there some people that will come into your life, things will change either for good or for bad,in my former compound i live with a christian, and God usually spoke to me in a dreams, but in my present compound things have change, the guy that iam living with now,is a worldly man,he hate to go to church,he is a chain smoker,a drunkard,a fornicator,i don't think he is willing to change for now,can the person you live or move about with effect your relationship with God?

He can affect you by tempting you. But as long as you stand firm, just live the Christian life before him, quietly and respectfully. Endeavor to be at peace with all men. I lived with an unsaved husband for 11 years. It was very lonely. God is able and His love is stronger than any evil in this world. The verses He gave me were those I pass along to you. Ephesians 6, about the full armor of God, and the story of Jehosaphat in 2 Chronicles 20. Most of all God told me to be quiet and live the Christian life before him. At times I prayed intensely. At times I rested.

I don't understand about your moving. It sounds like your were forced to move. Was this a decision by your government? Are you still able to attend church?

When I have changed churches God has gifted me in different ways according to the needs and circumstances or customs of the church. So He may start to speak to you in a quieter way to protect you in your present living situation. Sometimes He speaks to me by circumstances--opening or closing doors of opportunity. Sometimes it has been His still small voice within me. Sometimes it has been through music and often it has been through Scripture. Usually the messsage is repeated in a different manner but it comes to me 2 or 3 times. Often it has been due to the presence or absence of His peace within me. So I would urge you to become aware of and sensitive to the many ways God can speak to you and lead you.

Meanwhile, I do pray for your safety and that you be better paired with a believer.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
