Bush supports cross-hating movement

They can throw as many crosses as they want in the trash. The cross that I carry is in my heart. I'm alive by the standard of this world, but in my heart and soul I died 2000 years ago with my savior. No one can trash.

I have to believe that you know very little about our president. Most of the media is very liberal and hates the president and anyone who supports him. As far as the skull and crossbones something??? goes,... hmmmm were at war and so many things are going on. I wonder if maybe he has just forgotten it? You know like God forgets our sins when we come to Him? Let's stay focused and continue to pray for him, he needs our prayers.

Nah, I just got a really nice Christmas card from him and Laura.

At the taxpayers expense. Bush mailed out over a million of them. If you figure conservatively at $0.30 a card + $0.25 Postage * 1 Million that = $550,000 wasted dollars that could have done some real good or at least taxes that could have been refunded.

I would have much rather he sent that $550,000 dollars to a good charity like Salvation Army instead.

WHEN its from a CREDIBLE source then and only then would i ever think of accepting this rumor as real. Bush regularly attends church, reads his bible and supports Christians in general. This lie that is spreading is just one of many rumors that are spread daily about the President. And until proven otherwise it is a rumor, a lie, a illconcealed attempt by those who don't like the President to discredit him.

Frankly I am ashamed that people would fall for this. This is a Christian chat in which we are supposed to support the President and pray for him daily. This rubbish should be filed where it needs to be filed.. In the rubbish can.

You know, I kinda thought the same thing! And the card was really nice - with a gold foil seal, etc, not some cheap thing. You are right - a shameful waste of money IMO.

Jacqueline, that's all well and good, and I respect it, but it's not enough. Christians must stand up and be heard when they are "throwing crosses in the trash", or you will find yourself arrested for carrying it in your heart. The reason we now can not have our historical buildings carry plaques with the Bible verses our country was founded on, and why our students are being denied a copy of the Declaration of Independance, and why people are being told to take off Cross necklaces at work, and why Pastors are starting to be brought up on charges for what they say from the pulpit, and so on, and so on........is because Christians did nothing, other than "know what they know in their heart." Just my two cents.

Funny, I just saw an interview with George Bush tonight where he said he was reading "My Utmost for His Highest" and talking about how he tries to "stay in the Word" regularly. NATIONAL television.

Why hate? It's very telling. JMO though.

You carry my distrust much farther than I do to use the term hate. I don't hate him, I just don't think he is what he puts himself up as. Some of the most evil people in history have done the same thing, so "talk" and "said" just don't cut it with me, I am waiting for some "do".

I don't have to worry about it that much for time will tell, every day I become more convinced I am right as I read the news and simply watch. I post a thing here and there in hopes of focusing your attention to some of the more telling things...... but hey, if you don't want to look, that's ok.

I think you had to donate to the RNC to get one. I'll send you mine, as soon as I take it down from that alter and am done worshipping it.

Other One - I apologize for accusing you of hating him. Your constant anti-Bush posts make me think you are 'out to get him' and, unless I am mistaken, you have accused him of consciously furthering the enemies agenda , which in my black and white world, translates to 'hate'.

I'm open to anything factual, I'm certainly not blind when it comes to Bush, and don't agree with what I believe to be serious compromising at times. However, I'm not going to listen to silly nonsense and websites that show pictures of him holding up the "sign of satan" on his hand, etc. Not saying you post that, but I have seen garbage like that here, and I have seen you post conspiracy stuff.

Okay, I am sincerely asking - what do you want Bush to do? And I mean specifically - please lay it out.
