wishing something bad on someone is not the same as practicing witchcraft and placing a curse or hex on you. it's kinda like when a teenager gets mad at their ex boyfriend and says "i wish he'd just die". it's just emotional garbage being spewed from their mouth because of jealousy or betrayal or something like that.

 

and again, 'witches' who place curses or hexes or spells on believers are never going to win.

 

you're giving your boss way too much credit.

      Everytime I see one of these threads I am just amazed by some of the responses i read & how little Christians really know about the adversary....which is really a good thing but what is most important and what every Christian should know is what God tells us.......STAY AWAY,we should not even speak about the things they do in darkness,stay armed,resist the devil,take captive every thought,be sober,be vigilant

     My past is a faded memory but more of a nightmare that by the Grace of God alone ,I lived through it.......who better to tell you ....DO NOT EVEN BE CURIOUS about what they can & cannot do but from me,your Sister in Christ who once was a practicing witch........are spells & curses real?Yes they are tigger but they have nothing to do with you or your life....you are a child of the Light,Gods own & they are children of the dark,satans own.As far as the east is from the west is as far as a Christian should be from a witch!

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

   You see this verse of Holy Scripture,Gods Word.......take note that the devil seeks whom he MAY devour,whom he can,meaning who he is ABLE to......is he able to devour a Christian?Absolutely........IF one walks around without the full armor of God on,that is mistakenly under the impression that they are not susceptible to getting hit by one of those fiery darts without the powerful Arm of the Lord ........even our rebuke in Jesus Name is nothing but words without Christ Authority & the Power of the Holy Spirit

    I have met so many baby Christians who have encountered spiritual attacks & have gotten some really bad advice about spiritual warfare from mature Christians who do not understand that they did as much harm to these babes as if they sent a child into a battlefield of soldiers using machine guns & bombs armed only with a sling shot.......it is not a realm where any Christian who does not stand firmly on our Position of Victory in Christ,covered by His Blood should ever tread...................This is defeated enemy but no human is any match without the Sword of the Spirit

    All I really want to stress emphatically is focus on God,walk in Spirit & in Truth and give no attention to anything that is not of God.......the Lord will fight every battle and attack (curse spell) & no weapon formed against you shall prosper when you simply live Holy & in relationship with the Lord,pray without ceasing

Walk in it.  It's a done deal.  

 

If witches, witchcraft, sorcery etc were not real, God would not tell us to have nothing to do with it.

 

If it were not real, God would not have commanded witches to be stoned to death in the OT.

 

You shall not permit a sorceress to live.  Exodus 22:18

 

When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God  Deut. 18: 9-14

 

Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.  Lev. 19:31

 

 

Following is from the New Testament:

 

Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.  Acts 19: 18-20

 

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.  Gal. 5:19-21

 

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur,

which is the second death.   Revelation  21:8
