She didn't say what God said.  She said that God said they were not touch it.  But God didn't say that.  He said they were not to eat of it.

the below verses show she did say what God said

I would say your above statement does not line up with scripture below.

Gen 3:2-3

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Okay ,and now for some truth:

God didn't say they could not touch it.  There is nothing in what God commanded Adam that said they could not touch it.   You are quoting Eve and Eve did not necessarily say what God said. God's original command to Adam was this:

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

(Gen 2:15-17)

I have read all the verses in these post and they all say she was deceived
I did not see a verse that explains HOW she was recieved. maybe im blind,
maybe dumb, maybe stupid, maybe just didnt see what you saw.

All you have to do is read what Satan told her.

1.  God gave that commandment to Adam before Eve was created.    Satan first placed a doubt in her mind whether God actually said what Adam told her God said.

2.  The next thing Satan did was tell her that what she had been told wasn't true:   "Ye shall not surely die."

3.  Satan then deceived her in terms of God's character and the integrity of his Word

4.  Satan deceived her into thinking that she could be a god and thus by implication didn't need God.

The nature of the deception is right there is you read the Bible and look at what Satan told her.  It really isn't that hard.

There is so much assumption in this I don't know where to start! First assumption you make is that all God said to them is

written down... that is definitely incorrect assumption in the study of Scripture! Then based on that assumption you build

other assumptions that cannot be proven or disproven by Scripture... One thing can definitely be said of your view the

fall or first sin occurred in Eve's reply rather than the eating of that which was forbidden because exaggeration is nothing

more than a lie. Love, Steven

There is so much assumption in this I don't know where to start! First assumption you make is that all God said to them is

written down...

I am not making that assumption at all.  I am simply going off the information that we have.  If you are going to argue that there is more than what is there, you are operating off assumption, not me.  You are trying to make an argument from silence.  I am going strictly what is written in the text.  I don't have to make up more converstations that are not in the Bible in order to justify my position.

that is definitely incorrect assumption in the study of Scripture! Then based on that assumption you build

other assumptions that cannot be proven or disproven by Scripture...

I didn't make any assumptions.   The first thing the Devil said to Eve was "Did God really say....?"   He cast doubt on whether or not God actually said what Adam told Eve He said.  That is not an assumption.  That is what the Devil said.  Then he told her that eating fruit would not result in her dying and thus discrediting the Bible. That is not an assumption.  That's what the devil said.   Next thing Satan said was that God knows you'll become a god once you eat of the fruit.  He said that.  That is not an assumption.   Man has always sought to be his own god.  Man has always sought to reach out in his own power and usurp God's authority and take for himself what he should be receiving from God.

The lies that Satan spoke to Eve in the Garden are the same kinds of lies that are still being put forth by atheists and other unbelievers even today.  It all comes from the same source.

One thing can be definitely be said of your view the

fall or first sin occurred in Eve's reply rather than the eating of that which was forbidden. Love, Steven

Nope, the Bible doesn't say that.  The Fall is ONLY connected with Adam's disobedience and I have posted plenty of Scripture to prove that.   Sorry, but are simply incorrect.   I choose to believe the Bible as written.

Whereas Paul tells us that we will judge the Angels,

and whereas i do not think this is plan "b" but Gods intended goal from the beginning,

And whereas we would not have been able to do so not knowing good from evil,

it is my belief that God intended for Adam and Eve to eat of the Apple so in reality it doesn't matter who was at fault.

It was meant to be.

Add to that Satan himself introduced Adam and Eve to the knowledge, just makes it poetic justice in the long run.

Blessings other one....

I like your post,,,,,,,,,I do think all that happened & does happen is already known by God & He does allow these kind of things to take place so that His Will can be carried out........He could stop whatever He wants to stop from being carried out ,free will or not,if it interferes in any way with what He has planned........I seriously doubt that when Adam partook of the eating of the forbidden fruit it was no surprise to God Almighty & God didn't say"Oh no,why did they go & do that, now what?"      satan cannot do a thing if God does not allow him to.......are we off topic?   Well,I like your interjection & thats my 2 cents        Glory to God!                 With love-in Christ,Kwik

God allowed it, but there is NO biblical evidence to support the notion that God intended for Adam and Eve to eat the fruit.    To argue that God intended it to happen, makes God responsible for sin.  God is holy and did not intend for Adam to disobey Him.   God is not responsible for sin.

If it didn't matter, the Bible would not have told us that it was Adam's sin that caused our Fall.  The Bible evidently think it's important to fill us in on that information so your view doesn't match up with the Bible.

The notion that God intended for Adam and Eve to sin is simply untenable is not biblical by any standard and should be rejected out of hand.

God allows, but does not intend for sin.   That was the point I was making to other one.   There is a difference between saying that God allows something to happen and saying that God intends for it to happen.   To argue that God intended for sin to happen is an assault on his integrity and his holiness.

I've asked before with no answer........   when did God decide for us to judge the angels?     Before or after they ate the fruit and gained the knowledge of good and evil?

Just because God ordained redeemed believers to one day judge angels doesn't mean that God intended Adam and Eve to sin and cause the Fall.    If God intended Adam and Eve to Fall, then God is the author of sin and that is simply not a biblical position.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
