I Believe It's A Good Thing

That These Parents

Now Know

Who

Loves

Their Child

And Who Does Not

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn't love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1 (NLT)

I Believe

"For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (HCSB)

~

As For The Parents

But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NET)

God Is Able

But they were all the more astonished, and they were saying among themselves, "Who can be saved?" But Yeshua gazed upon them and he said to them, "With the sons of men, this is impossible, but not with God; everything is possible with God." Mark 10:26-27 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English)

Oh So

So, because of our nature, we deserved God's anger just like everyone else. But God is rich in mercy because of his great love for us.

We were dead because of our failures, but he made us alive together with Christ. (It is God's kindness that saved you.) God has brought us back to life together with Christ Jesus and has given us a position in heaven with him. Ephesians 2:3-6 (GWT)

Able

He did this through Christ Jesus out of his generosity to us in order to show his extremely rich kindness in the world to come. God saved you through faith as an act of kindness. You had nothing to do with it. Ephesians 2:7-8 (GWT)

Thank You LORD Jesus
I Love You

Jesus loves the little children

All the children of the world

Red, brown, yellow

Black and white

They are precious in His sight.

Jesus loves the little children

Of the world.

Jesus died for all the children

All the children of the world

Red, brown, yellow

Black and white

They are precious in His sight.

Jesus died for all the children

Of the world.

Jesus rose for all the children

All the children of the world

Red, brown, yellow

Black and white

They are precious in His sight.

Jesus rose for all the children

Of the world.

May God Bless The Children Of This Home

All Three Of Them

Jesus calls the children dear,
“Come to Me and never fear,
For I love the little children of the world;
I will take you by the hand,
Lead you to the better land,
For I love the little children of the world.”

Refrain:
Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world;
Red, brown, yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Jesus is the Shepherd true,
And He’ll always stand by you,
For He loves the little children of the world;
He’s a Savior great and strong,
And He’ll shield you from the wrong,
For He loves the little children of the world.

Refrain:
Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world;
Red, brown, yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

I am coming, Lord, to Thee,
And Your soldier I will be,
For You love the little children of the world;
And Your cross I’ll always bear,
And for You I’ll do and dare,
For You love the little children of the world.

Refrain:
Jesus died for all the children,
All the children of the world;
Red, brown, yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus died for all the children of the world.

well i'm on the fence. on the one hand, it's not like the baby couldn't get treated at the facility by another doctor, and i'm not sure why one particular doctor would be so important. and i wonder most of all why any parent would want to take their child to a doctor that was obviously going to be ambivalent about seeing them.

on the other hand, like others have said, the baby is innocent in all this.

on that same other hand, what a potentially life-long witnessing opportunity this doctor just passed up.

Was thinking same thing. I bet there are tons of Dr.s. She did say this Dr. was recommended by her mid wife I think. Anyway the baby is innocent. I was wondering if Dr. should treat baby then recommend the family to another Dr. It is a innocent baby.

There's two answers here

1. Yes, of course it's wrong

2. However, the bigger principle is allowing a business the right to refuse service based on their beliefs.

In other words, I think the doctor is wrong, but she should be allowed to be wrong.

Doctors don't have that right, they swear an oath.  If this is pursued, the medical license could be lost altogether.

Posted

actually, the oath they take is to do no harm.

if a doctor refused to treat someone who was in need of emergency care, then i would agree with you wingnut. however that isn't the case. this was one pediatrician in an office full of pediatricians who refused (on a day when the child was not ill or injured) to become the child's regular doctor for the foreseeable future.

the doctor did no harm to the patient, so she did not violate her oath, did not do anything illegal under the laws of that state, and therefore should not, under any circumstance, lose her license. like it or not, she did have every right to do as she did, even if it was politically incorrect, and even if it was a missed opportunity to spread the gospel.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
