Can I ask how is gay marriage in our country different then the other countries that made it legal. They don't seem to be going through any judgement or any trials, and they had it for a very long time. Why do some people seem to think our country is in more danger then the others.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time shall be for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

There is a difference between God's judgment and His removal of protection.

Those places which have rebelled against God's laws are going through various trials, believe it (just look at the problems in Europe), which are caused by God's progressive removal of protection.

But the Judgment of Almighty God is his direct intervention into history, to judge the people of the earth both individually and nationally. That process has not yet begun, but when it does, it will begin with His Church.

There is no judgment for the Church. Christ was judged for us at the Cross. The judgment that begins at the house of God is upon Israel and the apostate church. The only judgment we will receive is at the Bema Seat, where we will receive our crowns and our works since our saving are judged either to have been done for the Glory of our Lord or done for our own glory; at which point they will either be rewarded or burnt up.

As Peter says, judgment begins at the house/temple/naos of God, it begins with us first, the Church. We are the house/temple/naos of God.

That judgment will be who is'n and who ain't, nothing more. Other judgments will follow after

2 Corinthians 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

2 Timothy 2:5 And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.

[1] So you have to work for your salvation? Christ's sacrifice didn't pay for all our sins, past, present AND future?

[2] We are not the house of GOD.

[3] ... We are already in, guaranteed by the Holy Spirit sealed in our hearts at the moment of our salvation. That matter is settled. Romans 8:1-2 states: "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.…

[1] Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? ...26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Salvation is a free gift of God, but it costs you everything to keep:

Luke 14:33 ...whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Phil. 3:8 ...I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

[2] 1 Cor. 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

2 Cor. 6:16 ...ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

The term "house of God" in the OT, often used, referred to either the temple or tabernacle.

[3] "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." But that is the hitch: to be in Christ, you have to be doing what he said to do:

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, [then] ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Matt. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There will be many on the day Jesus appears who believed themselves to be Christ's, but who will not be able to stand in his Presence:

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Hi tigger,

I think it would be errant, in this dispensation of grace, to interpret any negative circumstances as God’s “judgement”. There will be a day of judgement for sin – but for now;

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

That said; negative circumstance can be interpreted as the corrosive influence of sin upon all of creation. On the issue of ‘gay marriage’, the moral, Biblical sin is homosexual practice. The corruption of marriage is merely an expression of the world’s promotion of the legitimacy of homosexual practice. And so we need to first recognise that the sin producing corruption is homosexual practice. ‘Gay marriage’ is an ancillary issue.

As homosexual practice existed, independently of ‘gay marriage’, the progression to ‘gay marriage’ should contribute relatively little to the corruption of society – beyond the further promotion of the sin itself. [Just to clarify: enacting the legislation itself will have little direct effect on the level of corruption; except that it will subsequently encourage engagement in and tolerance of sin – which will directly increase corruption]

It is my opinion that regions such as Europe and the US have experienced less historical corruption than other regions of the world due to your long-standing, historical, Christian heritage. However, from my perspective, both Europe and the US are experiencing increasing corruption – which I attribute to the many internal efforts to abandon traditional, Godly values.

So to your question;

I don’t believe that enacting ‘gay marriage’ legislation will immediately unleash a wave of natural or unnatural disasters (etc.) in the US. However, the enacting of legislation will have the effect of normalising homosexual practice in the minds of the world – resulting in an increase of this sin, which will, along with the increased practice of other sins, contribute to the increasing corruption of US society.

I think its the same in all countries affected, however, the 'noise' from america's decision to join the club is (in my opinion) due to:

1. America's popularity

2. America's so called Christian origin and

3. Christian values upon which the country was built.

And besides, i believe Christians in other country would have been as affected as Christians in America, just that they didn't get as much world sympathy or recognition as America did... probably due to the reasons i stated above.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
