If women would stay home “where they are suppose to be”(Titus 2:5), then there would be no women in the workplace, for the disaffectioned husband to be attracted to.  Therefore women are to be blamed in two ways.  But we don’t live in a perfect world!

Therefore wives should do all they can to please their husbands and husbands should do all they can to please their wives and stay true to them.

And men are not to be blamed if they willingly choose to cheat on their wives?

I pity your wife. Assuming you have one.

Why does there seem to be a gender war/defensiveness/blame shifting lol? Each is responsible to God for their own actions/lack of actions. Keeping score he/she does this or doesn't do that in no way changes our obligations/vows before God.

Even a man who is pure of heart

and prays to the Lord above

Can fall into sin, when temptation burns

If his wife, doesn’t give him her love.

          (1 Corinthians 7:5)

But why is the wife not giving him her love? That needs to be answered,

Are we at the mercy of our feelings? Does scripture instruct us to love when someone makes us feel good? Or is love a decision to follow God's instruction even when we are wronged?

This is true the war of the sexes can cause a marriage a lot of problems and undue temptation from Satan for sure. But it was Satan who brought temptation in the world. Eve didn't choose to be decieved instead she was tricked duped into believing the lies of Satan as he twisted the word of God. There is a big difference in what Satan did to trick Eve than what Adam did he wasn't tricked or deceived by Satan. But all three parties that led to the fall of man in the garden were punished for it as a curse was placed on the woman, the man and the serpent.

The Bible squarely puts the lion's share of the blame on Adam, not Eve.   Romans 5:12-21 mentions nothing about Eve.  It was Adam's sin that brought death to the world.

But it was Eve's stupidity that led Adam to go along with his beautiful wife.  Eve must have been an extremely beautiful woman.  And yes, Adam -- knowing the dire consequences --  could have said "Sorry, but I won't join you in this foolishness", but he did not.  That's why God asked her "What hast thou done?"  We could add parenthetically "thou stupid woman".  If we think about it, Eve chose to be deceived, just as people today chose to be deceived. But Adam deliberately chose to disobey (for his own sake or for her sake, we are not told) therefore Adam is held squarely responsible.  And all of humanity is paying the price.

This is just plain bull and unscriptural to boot. First you are assumming on your own Eve was a beautiful woman scripture doesn't say or give us any clue into that fact. It's seems you are thinking that the outward beauty of a woman is the cause of a man disobeying God when they have a freewill choice each and every time the temptation to sin is put in front of them. If what you are thinking and assumming of Eve's beauty leading Adam astray I guess all women should go around and purposely be ugly in the sight of their husband so that they want be lead astray and sin like Adam did. Your logic doesn't make since in that assumption.

Scripture never teaches that it was Eve's stupidity either that caused Adam to sin. You insult the intelligence of women with such a statement and encite the war between the sexes as a result as you clearly do not know the scriptures in regards to the temptation and trickery that Eve was put through by Satan. Eve did not choose to be deceived as you have stated she was tricked through Satan's deceit. Have you ever been tricked into doing something and didn't know you was tricked and the wool was pulled over your eyes but then it was to late to do anything about it. That is exactly what happened to Eve Satan tricked her through deceit using the scripture and twisting the truth into a lie and she believed it. Adam however was never tricked by deceit by Satan into disobeying he did it willingly by his own accord his choice and nothing else.

2 Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear lest by any means as the serpent "beguiled" Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Genesis 3:4 - And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall NOT surely die.

John 8:44 - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is not truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a LIAR, and the father of it.

No where is it found in the scripture that God called or said to Eve "thou stupid woman" either. God did inquire of Eve of her actions by asking her the question What hast thou done? Which is a big stretch and twist to say the least.

Seems to me Eve wondered off by herself and the devil took advantage of her gullibility. She must have had greed or lust in her heart for she desired more than what GOD had given them and wanted the knowledge and power

I don't buy into that Eve wondered off scenario and if she wouldn't have wondered off she wouldn't have been taken advantage of. Because God created the garden of Eden for them and he put both of them in the garden he created to tend it. There was no where for her to wonder off to they lived in the garden. In that garden were two trees the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of both good and evil. They were told not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and if they did they would surely die. Both Adam and Eve only knew good prior to the fall as there was no lust and greed or sin of any kind in the world as of yet. The knowledge of evil and sin came into the world after the fall as their eyes were opened and they saw they were naked and hid themselves. Prior to the fall Eve only knew what God had given them and nothing else. But God did have a plan from the beginning.

:sneaking:  Oh boy I am not even going to go there.

Bigape, I am going to go there.  Did you know that women are everywhere?  :o

Yes I did.

This statement(although very Biblical and correct), was said kind of tongue-in-cheek!

I knew that it would get a reaction out of people, but IT SHOULDN’T, on a Christian site!

Therefore, I added, that we don’t live in a “perfect world”:

But this is something that we should be praying for......

Matthew 6:9-10

V.9 ¶   After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

V.10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

This is God’s will for Christian wives!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
