Forgive me for not reading through 19 pages and for most likely repeating many other posts.

The free gift was earned and is by works...His Work...a work we could not even begin to approach as far as meeting the needed demands for our forgiveness/reconciliation...thus it needed to be a free gift or else we perish.

The eternal life is Jesus, when he lived on earth he had the life of God, and he was the eternal life to be, but not just yet..

Not before his death, because till the last moment he could disobey God and loose his own life just like Adam, and if that had happened we will loose our only hope for Heavens.

Jesus after the Cross he can not sin, he will remain in the life for ever, eternally, thats why now is call the eternal life, and when we believe in him we receive from his life and his life is eternal.

We sin, but not him, but even thought we sin we remain in his life, we don't die like the first Adam, for we adapted by him, as he is so we are.

He is in the life, we are (sinners with the life of Jesus Christ in us). In the life, when we sin, we do not die we remain in the life, the children of the blood and the life of Jesus Christ.

The redeemed by his blood. And we have the life of above, and an inheritance above, when we die we do not go down to Hell, we are going up to Heavens, if Jesus is in Heavens, let him stay there.

I do understand what you are trying to say but I am not sure our readers will......however,there is a problem here     What we MUST always Understand & acknowledge is that Jesus is God,so the Father ,the Son & the Holy Spirit are ALL Almighty God......I believe you may not grasp the GodHead Triune, though our God is ONE GOD,He is 3 Persons,God the Father,God the Son & God the Holy Spirit,,,,,this is why nothing that was made(given Life) was made without Him(Jesus)  They were made THROUGH HiM(Jesus).......still,they are ONE GOD.....God indeed has given life....

                                                                                                                                  With love-in Christ,Kwik

Blessings Kwik,

Very often we thank the FATHER for saving us, but when we do that, we thank him at the same time for giving us Jesus Christ.

We thank him for saving us, because of his love for us, he sent his Son Jesus to be our Savior.

The FATHER is not the one who died for us, Jesus is the one who shed the blood of the  Attonment, we are the children of the blood of Jesus Christ, he is our Lord and our Savior.

The FATHER was instrumental together with his Son for the Plan of Salvation, that's why we thank him for taking the risk to loose his own Son, to Save us.

For we are grateful to him and we recognize his role in the plan of Salvation, and we thank him for giving Jesus Christ our Savior the Heavens as his inheritance, and making us co-heirs of the Heavens together with Jesus.

We thank him for making Jesus the Lord and the Judge of all, and we are secured with him forever. Nothing can take us from him, no one can bring an accusation against us, and take us from him.

And JESUS will never give away anyone of his own, because of their behavior.

He has died for them, they are under his Attonment.

It is not only that while we live that we are Saved from many things, and we also have the fellowship with the Holy Spirit, which is a sign that we are one with Jesus and one with the Heavenly FATHER.

Through Jesus Christ we are not only having a new Heavenly Spiritually inheritance while we live here on earth, but we also have a place in Heaven waiting for us, no more Hades or Sheol for us, but strate to Heavens when we die.

We are the children of the blood and the life of Jesus Christ, we are his Family, and if we are the family of The Son of God, then we are also the family of the FATHER of the Son of God.

This is something about Christianity, I did not fully understood yet. By reading your posts in the forum, I have the impression that everyone will have eternal life. At least, technically. The difference is how they are going to spend it.

Or does death mean the effective termination of any sort of consciousness?

Correct you were made to be eternal.  You will spend eternity somewhere.  It all depends on your choice of whether you embrace Christ or not.  If you choose Jesus and accept His sacrifice for you and make Him the Lord of your life then you will have eternity with Him, if you reject him your eternity is hell.  There is no other way.  I pray you make the right choice.  I want to add something to this.  Please read John Chapter 17.  There are many times Jesus says in this intercessory prayer that He and the Father are one.  Jesus is fully God and fully man.  That has been the way it has been since the foundation of this world was laid, even before.   Praise Him!

You make a lot of questionable assertions. It would help if you would back up some of them by Scripture.

Here would be some counter verses to 'Jesus not always being God'.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
(Joh 8:58)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(Joh 1:1)

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
(Joh 1:14)

If you read very carefully what I have posted, do not be in a harry.

I have these and other scriptures in mine when I post, and is in line with those scriptures and others.

You took out of context what I post, you misunderstood me, please  read more carefully, and you will form a different opinion, God bless.

Dear Kwik, that's what I said:

That Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

At the last celebration of the passover JESUS said, this is the blood of the new covenant, who will be shed for the forgiveness of sins.

You can see everything will start at the shedding of the blood of Jesus on the Cross,

A small reference, if I don't drink this cup and take this baptism nothing will be accoblish.

And on the Cross, it is done the new covenant it is ratified and the old is finish.

After the Cross (not before)  JESUS gave the grate commission to his disciples to go and proclaim that new covenant is in effect, and that now God is having children of the Attonment of the blood of JESUS, and of his Spirit.

The children of the blood of Jesus and of his Spirit.

Maybe it is a language (English) issue...all the more reason to support what you are saying with Scripture.

Do you believe Jesus was God from eternity?

If you read carefully the above post , and take your glasses off this time, you will see that I have made reference to The Gospel of Jonh, and I uphold the teachings and vocabulary Jonh was using, and I am not going to depart from it.

Jonh and JESUS as well and the rest did not communicate in English, and if you translate their sayings word from word, you can not find these words in the scriptures.

Are you afraid to use the same words JESUS and the disciples use and the same fraces,

Are you correcting the disciples.

Is there a reason for you to make any assumptions that Brother Yown wears glasses, please, let's not get personal or tell someone how they should read"slowly, not in a hurry"    Thank you

Brother Yown is asking the same question I asked,Which you did not reply to & you do not have to either,it is entirely up to you    NYou responded to me by saying"That is what I said"    BUT

My question was

I ask you this,Do you understand or even believe Jesus Diety?

His question is...

Do you believe Jesus was God from eternity?

The reason we ask is because it seems(with our understanding by what you are posting) that you may or may not believe that Jesus IS God.....it would help us to understand why you respond as you do if we knew your answer,,,,,,& yes,I too was wondering if English is your primary language,it is not meant in a negative or condescending way, please understand that we are simply having difficulty understanding your replies & want to because we truly care about you & oonly HOPE to communicate better,,,,,,

It seems you have a good understanding of what is Written, from an academic or educated reasoning,,,,,,,,but as we do know

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
