You copied well.  Your failed to show how early Christians fled when Jews were being persecuted, as to no longer be identified with them and avoid the persecution.  How Constantine substituted the Jewish feasts for the pagan feasts, such as Easter for Passover, Christmas (Saturnalia) for Succoth.  The list of anti-Semitism goes on and on throughout Church history.  Peter was an apostle to the Jews, as they agreed Paul would be the apostle to the Gentiles.  Peter did not become a Gentile Christian.   We now agree to disagree.  God Bless.  Shalom

I'm sorry Shar, but your rendition of history doesn't fit history.    Your rendition is popular in some circles but popularity doesn't make it true.    Most of what you are repeating is myth - and the saying is true  - when the legend becomes fact, print the legend.

This is how "history" such as Paul Revere becomes so called "fact."    It wasn't Paul Revere who made that long ride -  it was Israel Bissell

Washington Irving provided the myth, the legend, and it was repeatead so often it became fact, and then it became history - even though The Ride of Paul Revere never happened the way it was told in Irving's poem.  Someone else made that ride.

"The key to history is who tells the story,"

The people who have taught you your version of history are simply perpetuating myths started by others and so often repeated they have become "fact."  But they are no more "fact" than the "fact" that Paul Revere made that midnight ride instead of Israel Bissell.

There must have been a very valid reason why the Jewish people were given wisdom to not eat certain things.

In those times, sanitary and preservation of foods were quite limited.

Today we can still fall ill because of unsanitary conditions concerning food.

But there is another point from which food  becomes less flavorful to partake in,

and that is how the food was raised and how it was cultivated or killed for the use of food.

If anyone bothered to go see some of the ways some farm animals are treated and killed for food,

that alone should be saying to your conscious something about eating these foods.

so are you getting to no meat....????

I agree with shar, for there is one point being made with a example that ,one can understand

Ezra, that is not true for did you say that out of being one sided with your view, for that was not correct to say , but I will answer this with , that everyone goes and hides behind Grace as a catch all for cover when bombs are dropping, why would you think at all that shar , or myself is going against Jesus , when we are Defending exactly what He is saying , you have this wrong and I have to strongly diisagee with you, and tell you what we are saying is of God, and it is in line of obedience to the law and the word of God in everyway ,

so please don't say what you did, unless you have really studied what is being said, here.

it is like there is no teaching a old dog new tricks, many people and long time believers are stuck in there ways and unable to open there hearts to see , what if someone else is right and you could be misunderstanding what you believed all the this time?

we are if not supporting the stand of Jesus spoken words,  and hold to the real truth of the study, why would other decide to throw this out , ?

I am going to say maybe because no one has come on with a view that really puts other beliefs in to a holding pattern that needs to be examined, please check out what we are saying and don't be so fast to judge it and toss it out,  thank you and blessings my brother always a pleasure to chat with you,  thank you

I did twice and you never responded..

Shar he didn't call anyone a liar.    You need to slow down and take time to actually read what people are posting to you.  Take time to digest it and try to understand what they are saying.

This is what he said.

If it is a lie that we can eat anything,  then God used a lie to make a point to Peter.

This is the natural end of the position that claims it is a lie we can eat whatever we want.

And this is what your claim has God doing.

This is the point he was trying to make.

if you don't think Christ declared all foods clean, and that Peter's vision reinforced this -- i'd just like to know how it is you think that God gave Peter a vision in which He instructed him to do evil, three times in a row, and reprimanded him for not doing it, in order to by metaphor teach him to do good?

can you give another example of God instructing a righteous man to do wickedness, clearly and without ambiguity? as an object lesson?

thanks.

God does not use lies to teach truth.

Yes I can post, when God told Abraham to sacrifice His son that he would, have to kill him, but in the end what happened, ?

what do you think that was , it was testing , and so we all shall be in one way or another,

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
