     I do think that unless one has had some experience or encounter with the dark side before they came to Jesus,they cannot possibly grasp the reality,,,,,,,,,,,I am sure anyone can receive all the Wisdom & Understanding they will ever need by Divine Revelation from the Holy Spirit but not everyone receives everything God truly has for them because they are not "open" to receive,,,,,,,,,,I know some Christians that have lead Spirit filled lives for 40 & 50 yrs or so but have a more or less "I leave the devil alone & he leaves me alone" attitude...........maybe not everyone is CAlled to be a Warrior,I'm not sure ,,,,,,,but it is a topic worth discussing,,,,,,,,

     It is the little things that can make such a big difference in a persons life,,,,,the enemy comes to kill steal & destroy,,,,,,he will kill joy,steal hope & destroy ones faith if your not careful ,,,,,the enemy is insidious so the more a person can know about arming themselves and standing firmly on their Position of Victory in Christ the more freedom they acquire living lives more abundant,,,,,,We see Christians walking around with scowls on their faces(no joy),,,,,,worried about this or that(lack of trust in God),,,,,,,,,frightened to death when they get bad news  with no  great expectations , griping about what little they have or don't have,,,,,,,yes,it is all the enemy & the war you can't see that goes on inside your mind as those thoughts come creeping in,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    We are the children of God Most High,sons & daughters that belong to the Lord,His Property(bought & paid for in full!),,,,,,,,our daily struggles are brought on by a defeated enemy,once we learn to recognize the enemy the battle is over,,,,,take captive those thoughts & replace them with Gods Word,,,,,,,,,,the Sword of the Spirit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,there is no reason to fear the enemy when you are covered by the Precious Blood of Jesus & you know how to wear Gods Full Armor and that we are ALWAYS Victorious in Christ,,,,,

Yes KW it is only when we have Christ within us and with daily prayer that we can be sure to withstand the onslaughts .

But not to think of the Satan himself ,as this is not useful ,just remember that we have little to concern us when we are of God ,of Jesus .

 So being vigilant ,but not fearful : vigilance is awareness ,but fear weakens us ,and makes us prey to attacks through our minds ,so keeping our minds healthy by 'hearing God's word and practising charity in small ways towards ourselves as well as others . Enjoying the gifts which God has given us without being greedy and ungrateful .Thankfulness for small things which are good . In other words how we live daily will help or not to dispel the evil ones hold over us . There is a difference between being fair and being dupe to those who wish to blackmail us into their ways .

I think it is important that we understand who Satan is, because he is the enemy. So many Christians do not understand the enemy, and understanding him can be the key to avoiding the traps that he sets us.

First and foremost, he is a deceiver. He comes not as a monster or as a bogeyman (like the little red devil with horns as many people view him), but as a charmer and a seducer. Like the best of liars he does not always lie but mixes lies with the truth. He can fool even the righteous if they do not understand his ways. Only rarely does his mask drop and when it does you will see the monstrous side of him.

At first, he will always say something 'nice' in order to fool us that he is good, but if you take the time to scratch beneath the surface you'll discover his true intent. So many people have been fooled by him because they were too lazy or too naive to 'test the spirits' as the Bible tells us to. If you listen to what he has to say then test it with scripture you'll find that there is always a contradiction there. For thousands of years he has been fooling many with his words and his ideas.

I'll give you an example - 'Communism'.

When you are young and you are first told what communism is, it may sound like a good idea, in fact it sounds as if it may be something that Christians should endorse, after all, who does not want to eradicate poverty and share what they have with others?

But if you scratch beneath the surface, Communism is not about sharing, it is about stealing from those who are productive and giving to those who aren't. It is also Atheistic and is a means of turning people away from God and making them worship the state instead.

Of course, you don't need me to lecture you about Communism. I could go on and on about it.... but you get the idea.

Because we are in the End Times, Satan is working overtime at the moment and the World is filled with lies,temptations and distractions. If you ever hear of a political cause, idea, or movement that sounds as if it may be a good thing, then test it. Consult scripture and test it before accepting it! What's more, trace it back to its origins if you can... if there is any hint of anti-Semitism there then you can be assured that it came from Satan.

Not only scripture but the Holy Spirit inside of you should act as a guide and protect you from the deception that Lucifer has in store for us.

Satan is a liar and his intention is to turn you away from God, and he will even be as subtle as he possibly can in order to make this happen.

Man fell into Satan's Kingdom. Continue to look at these verses below...

1Jn 5:19  We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Joh 14:30  I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me,

 

2Co 4:4  In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Romans 16:17-20a  Now i urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.  For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.  For your obedience has become known to all.  therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple (innocent) concerning evil.  And the God of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly.  

I prefer to let God worry about satan and just stay as far from him and his works as possible.  It is enough to know the Bible,  that satan deceives and lies, and that he no longer has the power of death since Jesus took that away from him when He arose from the dead; so while he prowls around seeking whom he can destroy, he is declawed and toothless but has a big roar and a deceiving purr.

who do you think caused the holocaust, and hundreds of million deaths perhaps/ by execution**, all over the world , in the last 200 years ? 

and 1/3 or mankind in the next few years, perhaps, ((whether 1 year, of 200 more years permitted by Yahweh)).

who is behind all the cults in the world. ? ((satan))

Peace, Joy, and Righteousness all are granted without measure, freely in Christ Jesus

Already, TODAY - Already back then .  Not sometime in the future  to wait for.

As Jesus said "in the world you will have MUCH PERSECUTION**" ((IF you stand for Truth, Testify OPENLY about Jesus))

This is why we need to spread the Gospel--people still need to be freed from the power of sin and death.  God is not willing that any should perish.  The battle is the Lord's.  We need to be in prayer while we share, asking God to take away blindness and open ears that they may hear and be saved.
