My theory is that being baptized, giving the recognition and making the choice to believe in God, the HS is the gift that gives you natural faith. Your amount of faith it has been made clear is not important, just that you have any, however your amount of doubt is what stops things from happening.

Oh, to the earlier comment, haha.

Depending on where you are, historically, even the last 200 years,

they won't sue you for doing that, but they may sue

to stop it from happening again, as much as is in their power - remember how the scribes and pharisees hated Jesus and did all they could to stop HIM....... ....

or,  they will pass laws to prevent it from happening again, as much as is in the governments power to stop you.

Well what if someone isnt healed? What if you expose someone with a weak immune system to something? Or come in contact with someone and carry it to another patient? There are many possibilities. But I have asked this question to people before and these are the answers I have gotten. I have recently been around miracles, I think it would take a lot more confidence to pray for someone in a hospital who you have to go to, rather than someone who comes to you.

Something interesting I have been studying and developing is a theory I have not come across anywhere in my research. This would be that faith is not the key, the key is a total lack of doubt. The best prayers are the ones that aren't thought about, just on the fly. For me walking into a place that is full of sick people would bring an intial amount of doubt for sure, rather than in a home or a church.

What if ...   what if .... what if .....

No,  I think not many possibilities.  Yahweh created all things simple;  man came up with many devices.((in error,in sin)).

Faith is the key, one of them.  Do not doubt, also.

What's more important than both ?

TRUTH.

Then, you just heal them of what you have exposed them to.

I don't think I recall Jesus leaving anyone brought to Him unhealed, because of their "lack of faith".

I think youre trying to argue about something that we agree on? Also no one is going to be as successful as Jesus, you wouldnt know if you just accidentally transferred something to them. And the faith is necessary on one of the parts, the healer gives the virue and the faith is supplied by one or the other, healer or healee.

Why ? ....

Have you ever prayed for someone to be healed? Probably if youre a christian. What did you pray for? Your child with the flu? Grandma with pneumonia? Cancer in a relative? Maybe something in yourself? Where was it at? Church, or at your home, someone elses home? Going to a place where every single person is sick, finding out this one has pancreatic cancer and the entire floor is for encology, being around all people of incurable diseases, the more details you find out, the more you think, the more your belief fluctuates and doubt creeps in. Its best to have blind faith and pray without the details and leave the responsibility of knowing in God's hands. That's why.

I find it disturbing when people hide their prideful self estimation behind words like "your argument is with God not with me".

Am I so arrogant to beleive I possess absolute perfect knowledge, wisdom and understanding pertaining to the word of God and God's ways?  I cannot be wrong so in my perfect understanding I declare your arguing with God when you dispute my interpretation of the written word?

 God, I hope not.

There is only one who could ever make such a boast, Jesus.  Then after him such declarations came from men like the Apostle Paul but even he said that his words were not just words but supported by confirmation from God.  They came in deed and in power.

Let any man who claims such a boast of himself show the promise of God behind his words by declaring what manner of consequence will follow for withstanding him here!  Then let us watch as his words are or are not backed up by almighty God.  Or let such a one refrain from his pride and repent.  Let him admit that he simply holds an opinion of the word of God that he beleives to be true and lives according too.

As for the OP, I am greatly desirous to understand the gift of healing.  I would love to spend my days laying hands on the sick and halt only to watch them recover!  To give God and God alone the praise for his redemptive work in them!!!

My gift has been love.  Much love of God poured out on ungodly me that I can't help but love other ungodly creatures like me.

If you ever get to a place of being able to be in attendance of men who have this gift, I would love to come and fellowship wherever that may be.  Please give me a holler if it comes to pass.  I will fly out, Lord willing of course!

I hate to break it to you, but contrary to the false teaching that you are a little god, you are not God.

No, I'm telling you what Scripture says. You're the one following after filthy lucre.

You're free to follow whatever false teacher and false teaching you desire. However, like God says in his Word "...from such withdraw thyself" ! Tim 6:5 (KJV)

1 Timothy 6:5 King James Version (KJV)

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

I have told you what the scriptures say.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
