Why do you keep insisting that post-tribbers want to go through the great tribulation?  You really don't get it, do you?  It's not a matter of what we want.

If you don't want to go through the Great Tribulation, why do you connect it to the Church? Could we surmise that some Christians have a martyr complex?

Not according to John 14:1-3. "Let not your heart be troubled" automatically cancels any Tribulation before the Rapture.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

But it is; you keep saying that the Rapture is at Post Trib.  If it is, then you will (as Post-Tribbers) go though this Great Tribulation which you have prepared for.  And you say; Pre-Tribber will fault/lose their faith because we have not prepared for it.  Now are you backing down from your position.  For you know what comes and how bad it will be.  You have given me tons of Scripture verifying your position and how you are delivered from (through) this time of Great Distress.  If it is not a matter of what you want, What is it?  God's Will, is God's Will.

Take me now Jesus and drop kick me over the goalposts of Life.  Old, Old saying.

We are being prepared now , tested now over a period of time . We cannot escape hard times ,but as we are tested in the

fire which God allows because we must overcome with the truth everyday until the end ;the end will not be difficult ,just as if you have done your homework regularly the exam is easy

For when 'that day 'comes ' ,read Luke 17 :34 , Matt 24 : 40 , 34 - 35 .

For me it has already started . God knows what we are thinking and how our hearts stand up to the onslaught  . It is very painful ,but He needs to test us :that's why He allows it ,to seperate the sheep from the goats ,who cannot or will not  know God's love and purity .

Yes, we are now being tested by God.  This has been going on since the Early Church, even before the stoning of Stephen.  But this next set of tests and Tribulations is for all the Unjust who live on this earth.  Rev 3:10 - Since you; have kept my command to endure patiently (we are already in this process), I will also keep you from the hour of trail that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Now the next test will be for those living on the earth (not some, but all).  Also it will affect the whole world.

In Christ

How can you even seriously ask a question like that as if somehow we have the ability to determine out lot in the end times based on how we want things to happen?  Bizarre.

I think it would be wise to seek God's truth in the matter first and let that shape your understanding instead of vice versa.

What an eye-opening day concerning the perceptions some people have.

Well, I see that slightly differently, big surprise!. Jesus will come again, and gather me to Him, just after the tribulation. I believe in God, I believe also in Jesus. Therefore, since I am not to fear those, who can kill the body, and afterward, can do not more, I do not let my heart be troubled, because I look forward to a time, when all earthly troubles will have been done away with, I look forward to the blessed hope, my Lord and savior, who has my salvation planned and under is control. With that in mind, why should my heart be troubled.

Quick question Marv . . .

7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: . . .
10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

Is there some scripture (not just an optimistic wish) that directs you to believe, that you are part of the church in Philadelphia?, and that the messages to the other churches should not be applied to you?

Omegaman 3.0 I agree with you and believe the same way , thank you for showing the devotion of a true believer and to share this with others, for many are not willing to see that we may give up our lives but in the end  our savior will redeem us, so blessings brother, and keep up the great faith .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
