- "Your Holy Cities Are a Wilderness, Zion is a Wilderness Jerusalem a desolation." - Is.64:10

They have turned God's teachings into teachings of a harlot.  Replaced her.  Their Zion now is polluted.  This is not God's Zion where the God fearing dwell.

God is just giving examples here.  There is no real woman, but it's all about the teachings.

Quote

- The Woman of Rev.12 is just kept from the serpent for only 3.5 years.

The woman's 3.5 years starts before the beast's 3.5 to continue - Rev.13:5.

Yes, but the only connection is 3.5yrs.  The NT was protected for 3 1/2 yrs after Christ's death and resurrection.  It's solid.  After this, Satan goes after corrupting the Word and the teachings.  Before the NT was written, Satan only knew the OT. He was dying to get his hands on the NT so he could corrupt it, but it was kept from him, preserved and copies sent out to the churches before he could mar it.

The end times 3.5yrs is given into Babylon's hands, so there could be a connection I can now see, but not the same one as you see.

I see the first 3.5 yrs the NT was preserved by the witnesses, will stand the test of time and be preserved also by the saints in the last 3.5yrs.  The teachings handed down.

Quote

So the woman's safety time will be up before the beast's authority ends.

- The 144,000 of all the tribes of the children of Israel will be saved. But will be killed by the beast for not worshiping the Image.

Are you sure about that?

Revelation 11:1   And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Revelation 11:2   But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Babel was the great gathering place of man against the wishes of God to spread out across the globe.

If it (Babylon) is anything other than literal Babylon it is Globalism. IMHO wherever Globalism is prevalent to the point of being a capital city today, it could easily be moved to a rebuilt Babylon or Dubai or Rome or London or Beijing...

I believe it will be on the plains of Shinar (Zechariah 5:5-11).

I find it interesting that Scripture clearly refers to a period of 3.5 years within three different writing phrases

from the events of Rev.11 & Rev.13 for 'The Holy City', 'The Two Witnesses', 'The Woman', and  'The Beast'.

* Of The Holy City the 3.5 yr is phrased as:

"Forty Two Months" - Rev.11:2

* Of The Two Witnesses the 3.5 yrs is phrased as:

- "one thousand two hundred and sixty days" - Rev.11:3

* Of The Woman the 3.5 yrs is phrased as:

- "one thousand two hundred and sixty days. Rev.12:6

- "a time and times and half of times" - Rev.12:14

In which Daniel 7:25 - Dan.12:7 speak of "a time and times and a half of times"

* Of the Beast the 3.5 yrs is phrased as:

- "Forty Two Months" - Rev.13:5

 - Anyone believing that the players of this scriptural time phrases has

anything to with America or the catholic church knows nothing of God's scriptural prophecies.

John being in heaven was told to go down to the angel standing on land and sea to take the little book from him.

Then John was told to Rise and measure the temple of God. The temple of God John rose to measure was not on earth but in heaven.

There will be no 3rd temple God said so.

Speaking of The 2nd Temple God said, "The glory of this Latter Temple shall be greater than The Former, says The Lord Of Hosts." - Hag.2:9

Former and Latter is 2 Temples not 3.

And 'The Holy City" by Rev.11:8 is called 'that great city which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt where our Lord was crucified"

I believe you are greatly misunderstanding the verse; the woman wasn’t  nourished from the serpent in any way shape or form. She was nourished by God who intervened on her behalf becuase the serpent was trying to kill her, not nourish her. Hence the rest of the verses –

Revelation 12:14 - And to the woman were given [by God] two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished [by God] for a time, and times, and half a time, [AWAY] from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman [in an attempt to reach her], that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood [of false doctrines and lies].

16 And [God caused] the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

17 And [therefore] the dragon was wroth with the woman [because he couldn't kill her], and [so he] went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

You simply need to follow the grammar, “the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”

Her place to where she flew was away from the serpent and so he couldn’t reach her, hence the attempt with the flood out of his mouth… which also couldn’t reach her.

That's a very good, and Scriptural, interpretation, Seeker.  A LOT of people get those passages wrong.

Okay sorry I didn't string the wording out better.

But the Beast will have access to The Woman although The Serpent doesn't. - Rev.13:2 - Rev.17:12-18

Which is the point of the post. -

Ok...

So why then was it important for you to state "she is not nourished from the presence of The Beast..." if that was truly your point? And where were you headed with this since you deemed significant to share?

However, I have to ask, and no offence intended. But are you sure you're not back-peddling here though?

I mean Christian's are supposed to be truthful if the Spirit of Truth is really in them. For how can we really take God's word in our mouths if we ignore the fact we are to speak honestly and receive correction when wrong. We lose all authority as instructors of righteousness if we wilfully fabricate silly excuses when wrong. I would really hate to see pride compound a simple error and turn it into a sin here... because the next step is a fall for sure. I know how the adversary works...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
