Yes there are these stories as well there are stories about abusive western men who beat their wives or start stalking and harassing when they are divorced. There are people who act bad and people who act good. It's just islamophobia if you start scaring others like this. And do you mean she wore burqa, niqab, hijab or abaya? If you marry a Muslim man, and he has family in the middle east, be very careful. Depending on the country, if you went to visit his home country, you will be subject to the laws of that land. It is not a good thing unless you are willing to live that way. How dedicated are you to Christianity? Would you be willing to convert to Islam and live accordingly? You've already made up your mind about what you want to do before asking the question. So there really was no point in asking other than to convince yourself and folks here that all will be well. You have shown us, that you do not like the answers given regarding being unequally yoked. Qnts and willa are trying to point out to you that being unequally yoked is not the best situation to be in. You, yourself do not have a guarantee that all will go well after the marriage ceremony takes place. We can't make that any plainer to you. You have been shown scripture which very plainly says that if you are not yet married to not plan on being unequally yoked. And from your replies , you are determined to be unequally yoked period. They are speaking about their friend's experiences marriage wise. . .certainly nothing about terrorism. Their points are that if you are moving from finland to a country in which islam is the state religion. You will be required by law, to participate in islamic prayer and rituals. You simply can not pretend to participate in their rituals and practice Christianity at the same time. They (islamic religion) certainly do not want you speaking of or praying to the Christian Jesus. And islamic states (countries) definitely do not want Christians converting muslims to Christianity. You will not have freedom to worship Jesus as you would like. First of all not all countries have the sharia law as the country law like saudi arabia. Secondly i think i did not say i am moving to such country. And it is said in quran that there is no compulsion of religion so no i am not required by law to participate in islamic prayer and rituals if i am not a muslim. When He says believers and unbelievers should not marry each other, that's not leaving any room open for another option. IF it happens that a person becomes a believer after being married already to an unbeliever, God's Word again is /has the answer. IF it happens that a believer goes ahead and has fellowship with darkness, God's Word again is/ has the answer. Men will continue to mess up. God's Word again is / has the answer. But just saying that what people say as god's word is just the interpretation of god's word, so need be very careful when starting to talk about it. I know it says in bible not to be unequally yoked.
