Answere is yes,

As with Jacob,God is ready and willing to answere your cry to him in the day of your distress.

And he will give you the ussurance that,no matter how pressing the hardship is,regurdless of the severity of the hard times you face, He will be " with you wherever" you go.

2 Sam 22:7)-In my distress I called on,the Lord,I called out to my God., from His Temple,He heard my voice,my cry came to His ears.

Without a doubt:

Weve all had many distress calls,in our life time, when we indure one,the nect one seems more intense.

Being the strong Christian women, that I am with great faith,

Is tested, when its one of your children. If Satan cant get to you, he will attack your children.

Im going to share, a " Distress Call ',

To this day, brings tears, when I share, this story.God was Faithful to my Call.

Believing in God,trusting in Prayer,And my strong faith,It wasn't an option,to loose my son in the system.

Story:

In 2010,My son was accused for a crime he didn't comit,(he was set up), And was placed in juvenile hall for a long time.

And I almost lost him, They had him on suicide watch.

What he and I was struggling with, why was he there,?. The day he was accused of this crime,He was in the hospital, having emergency surgry, and wasn't able to walk, when he came home.

(DA),wouldn't let me show them the medical forms from the hospital,to plead my case.

So,as his Mother,I was there faithfully, every day, for a year,Talking, sharing Gods word, between the glass windows/phone. Witnessing,to my son,God will help us to get through this. But I would ask God to help me to chose what to speak about,to him, also to those, that I knew who were litening on the phone,in the hall,,I also sent biblical books for him to read, and share, knowing the front desk would read through them,,So I highlited a lot of stuff,in hoping ,they to would recive Christ,in my Witnessing,

Long story ,short,He was released,to this day,he still carries a scar,Because he didn't understand why God allowed it to happen, being he did nothing to anyone,So,we have come to the understanding,:

1st)-God gets the Glory, for his release.

2nd)-Maybe at wrong place,at wrong time.

3rd)-Maybe,from the suffering,God used Him for His glory, for another person.

4th)-Sometimes God allows things in our life to be tested.

Reguardless, of the outcome, "GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL",and I know, with out a DOUBT,he didn't bring us this far,to see us FAIL,,,

Like Peter,

Jesus reached out his hands bringing him safely back into the boat.

Ps 4:1)-Answere me when I call to you, O, My Righteous GOD, Give me relief from my distress,be merciful to me and hear my Prayer.

Sometimes ,our minds are distracted ,and at times confussed , And at times it can be complicated to get our thoughts together, simply call out to God for His Mercy

I do know, what ever (mine) or (yours),personal storm is. We can count on " GOD " to be our refuge, for us in our time of need.

Isa 63:9)-In all their distress he to was in distressed, And the angle of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them, he lifted them up and carried

them all the days old.

You may fill like you have been swallowed up,like (Jonah), no matter how dark, no matter how impossible, your situation seems:

GOD IS FAITHFUL-

GOD IS MERCIFUL-

2 Corin 4:8-9)-We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed ,but not in despair, persecuted, but not abanded, struck down, but not destroyed.

BE DILIGENT ,WITH ON GOING PRAYER,

                                                                                           IT DOES WORK.......IM LIVING PROOF..!!

Share your thoughts,also,ty

Blessings,With Gods Grace,

Yes,he may not answer them as we would like Him to or as fast as we would like Him to but God has a purpose in everything that He does.

well sister, I have to disagree with you that God does (911 and emergency calls,

I am not saying that prayers are not answered , and I am not saying that God does not have his hand in things, also , and so , we need top focus and realize that we call on God and for any and everything, and many don't know God until there is a emergency?

and so I have to say that Jesus came and died for us, and then rose from the dead, we are saved in our souls and the next life, but here on earth we can pray , and the prayers are heard, but , I have a different take on this, and many may disagree with me, but I am going to say that we follow the ways that we have conducted our selves, and when its bad we say God has abandon us, and when we are good we are blessed, I believe this to be a false indicator to our selves and others, for what about those that were godly people that died and had faith in God and prayed  for their lives and yet their lives were not spared ?

can we account for those that are starving right now the children in the third world country and dying ,because they have no food ?

we are told that the lord provides all of our needs and knows every hair on our head,   so not to be rude or bad, but let us take a moment to see, how God does answer us, why does bad things happen to good and godly people, do we say we are blessed when we lose a love one ?

do we say we are blessed when we have a nice house, and a nice car, is these the things we pray for, and if we don't have them does God still love, us ?

are we to understand that we have God as a genie to get what we ask for, and yet we do not fully understand what we believe to be the truth ?

this may seem hard to accept, but I believe that Gods has given us the free will and we are to make the best of it, and to endure until the end and for what we do we need to be accountable , and if he reached in and saved everyone all the time, and granted all the wishes people ask for then who is God, for there is a different God here in the bible that I read, and it is not about wishing and getting,

if I am wrong, please feel free to let me know , but we do not have a God that we control, and for I believe until its the end of the road then I think is when we go to him, and we have to do the best we can in this world with what we are delt with ,

this was to bring some truth to a misunderstanding of who God really is, for if God was going to grant anything, would he  not have stopped the crucifixion ? just asking, he said if it be possible to take the cup from him, and so , we need to think about these things,

I think we put to much stock in a easy snap my finger type of God, and everything is  a yes or a no,

that's just my thoughts, I know its deep, but it is my thoughts,

shalom

Yes, Jesus answers distress calls.   He answered the distress calls of the Syro-Phoenician woman whose daughter was ill.  He answered the distress call of the Roman Centurion whose servant was sick.   He answered the distress call of Jairus whose daughter was dying.   So yes, Jesus answers distress calls.    And even if you haven't talked to Jesus in a while, even if you have been out of fellowship, I trust in His mercy to answer you when you call.  Sometimes, those events happen because it takes a great pain to realize a great need for God.

I will even go so far as to say that I think he will answer the prayer of an unbeliever who calls out for help (the three people who were mentioned above were unbelievers).

Crying out to God is not wishful thinking nor is it snapping of one's finger expecting an automatic yes.

Read the Psalms.  David cried out to God over and over and over.  Many times God answered with deliverance.  Sometimes David cried out things like "how long.... how long....".

Psalm 34 says, "The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them."

Psalm 145 says, "He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them."

Well yes. God is not a Genie or a magic eight ball. He is there for you and He listens to all your prayers and requests. He may answer yes or no or wait, I have something better planned.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
