While it is true that the old sinful nature has not been eradicated completely, many give "the flesh" more credit than it deserves. The indwelling Holy Spirit + the written Word of God gives every believer the POWER TO OVERCOME every sinful tendency. But we must believe it. If we believe we have "a mental problem" or " a spiritual problem" then that is exactly what we will have.
