Because the bible tells me so. Romans 10 9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame." The Living Word Jesus has so formed the Word (written) in direct correlation with The Holy Spirit as to form within us a personal relationship with Him that is more satisfying than any other thing (literally anything) that I know! My life consists of nothing from where I began and is totally from where I have not yet been... I am a born again Biblicist !

Denominations should be used like Jeet Kun Do, learn the best of each, the relationship you have with the Creator should never be based on group think, everyone has their own cross to bear, Gods path for you is your own, you must bear fruit once you remove your splinters, but you should only stay idle if its His will for your life. Think about what Yahshua said about desciples, what did He say about possessions and riches, think about what himders you from following our Savior. How much faith do you place in God? There is a balance, but you must give up all faith in the world to gain what it is that God seeks for you. What do you treasure most?

Currently I attend a Baptist Church, I also spent many years in a Foursquare church. I am not a fan of labels though, since not all Baptists believe the same thing, and not all Foursquares believe the same things. I just prefer to attend churches, where the teaching and practices are sound, and the people are real, and they all love the Lord, what about you gerbilgirl? What do you think is more important, the name or lack of a name, or what the teach and do?
