The same point is true (competing world views) about the universe and the world around us.

For the evolutionary formula to even come close to making sense, an inordinate amount of time must be added to the equation.

1.  transitions from ameba to slugs to fish to mammals to primates to man takes time 
2. these transitions are not in evidence for the 10,000 years of recorded human history

So here we are evolutionists and creationists looking at the age of the world and universe around us as the proverbial 1/2 glass of water:

• creationist says half full
• evolutionist says half empty

They say old, we say not so old.

Take the sudden and catastrophic shift in the land mass over night in New Zealand with a 7.8 earthquake (right in your neighborhood so to speak).

Now evolutionists will take similar scenes (the American desert southwest or your own Australian outback) and claim "billions and billions of years ago..." all the land was flat and weathering a grain of sand at a time caused the great topographical variations we now see with  Uluru (Ayers Rock) or the Grand Canyon in the States or the mesas and plateaus in both lands. And here we see stranded cows on a land shift that happened all at once. 

With regard to the topic of this thread, Noah's global flood accounts for the major formations of land masses and so forth with a global catastrophic flood, run off, tectonic collapse under the weight of the water, (causing the deepening of the oceans and the heightening of mesas and mountains). The Grand Canyon is the result of an earthen dam that burst after the flood leaving behind lake bottoms caused by the dammed up water in soft sediment and silt which came from the global deluge and has since hardened into rock.

Like the photo above, there is a modern event (when Mount Saint Helens erupted in the 1980's) where a mini Grand Canyon was formed over night when a lake was dammed up by the eruption debris and it suddenly burst draining the lake behind.

This is what ICR and AIG used to teach openly. I've been to the museum in Santee CA many times. The science of the evolutionist is actually no science at all. Only contrived argumentation and subterfuge and mass bullying to silence opposition and to overrun education and media bases to perpetuate their atheist lies. They count on these and the intimidation factor and the complacency of creationists who don't have a stomach for the fight. That ain't science. It ain't truth. Drop the mike now!

You might be interested in that the last time we took a paid tour of the Grand Canyon, after the talk given to the ranger for us to hear she smiled and said that was all from the non christian elite then pointed out the formations that perfectly showed where the flood waters had carved out the major part of the canyon to a wide floor at the bottom and then for the past six thousand years the river has carved itself a little lower.

One question no one ever answers (and I dont mean folks here) is what is normal climate for the earth? Sometime in 1000ish ad vikings settled in greenland. It was not ice covered. Now it is. Which was the norm? If the norm is to be covered in ice, then what made greenland free of ice back then? If the norm was then, why are folks up in arms about the climate supposedly warming now?

And not to mention that big ball of fire in the sky in flux and cycles...

This Pope Francis, our apologist Muslim president, the United Nations and the environment tree hugger groups, are pushing hard for a global warming emissions tax. That alone would put a big dent in our national sovereignty. I won't bore anyone with all the details where all this is going to lead to, as we already know. Like previously stated, it's all about greed and control.

Yep! And I'm wondering if this standing Army the antiChrist uses is NATO and the United Nations, the coming European Union standing Army, or both? Russia and China appear to be separate and not a part of the antiChrist confederacy and going to do their own bidding. Possibly this global emissions tax will be the funding of the UN / European Army. We are also getting glimpses of a UN military right now. We presently have United States military troops commanded to wear the United Nations patch, and are under command of foreign nations and leaders. That's well known facts.
