It is Biblical that God hardens hearts. He hardened Pharaoh's Heart so he wouldn't let the Israelite's go. Also, Satan needed God's permission to harm Job and kill his family. The darkness is here to test and refine the light and make the light shine brighter.

God desires the reign of the Antichrist.  The Antichrist isn't called to be a born again Christian.  He has a prophecy to fulfill.

He is called to crucify the Church.  By doing so, he glorifies the Church, like Satan glorified Job.

In order to reject someone, you first need to know there is someone to reject.

Actually, most atheists have been told there is a God, so they are not operating from ignorance of God's existence.   Choosing to reject the information isn't the same as not knowing.  And they have been confronted with the reality of God's existence and they choose to reject it.

They can't use that excuse.  Because God has made himself known to all mankind.  The knowledge of God is known instinctively.
