Being mentally unstable, in my view, is a self inflicted condition that is not caused by a chemical imbalance and is often a temporary condition.   People allow hate or greed or other emotions to take over their lives, thus leaving them unstable. 

Perhaps emotionally unstable would be a better term for this. It's far too easy to get confused with the terminology you are using.

The shooter  is dead as far as I know.

Terry McAuliffe, the 72nd Governor of Virginia, is already talking about too many guns on the streets.  Can't Democrats ever talk about something useful like keeping violent felons and drug users in jails?  Why do they sponsor parades for terrorists or invite terrorists to the White House?  Democrats have no new ideas.  They are bankrupt as a political party.

Yes, I agree.  Let thousands of felons out of jails and foster sanctuary cities and then whine about crime.  Let terrorists out of Gitmo and then whine about terrorism.  Sponsor BLM and MoveOn  and then whine about violence.  Come to think of it, they do a LOT of whining.
