I can see the sarcasm in Enoch's reply.  I am sure Enoch is not wanting to see "a different truth" than what scripture gives.  Any believer who studies will know that there will be false christs, especially in the last days.

I would say that today's prophet can prophecy about short term, limited scope, events to come or perhaps consequences of corporate (group) actions. Indeed, the future has been given and there is nothing new to add to that, but short/near term events can be foretold as a "word" of knowledge. Prophecy, after all, is a Gift of the Spirit.

What is prophecy?

God's communicating or foretelling predetermined events to those receptive to his words.

Enoch's sarcasm yes, but Jake999's remarks are off the charts. Claiming to be Christ is blasphemy. Trollism.Which judging by his remarks in his own post he apparently knows.
