My father in law was a Shriner

Candidates for induction into the Shriners are greeted by a High Priest, who says:

 

 “By the existence of Allah and the creed of Mohammed; by the legendary sanctity of our Tabernacle at Mecca, we greet you.” 

 

The inductees then swear on the Bible and the Koran, in the name of Mohammed, and invoke Masonry's usual gruesome penalties upon themselves:

 

 “I do hereby, upon this Bible, and on the mysterious legend of the Koran, and its dedication to the Mohammedan faith, promise and swear and vow … that I will never reveal any secret part or portion whatsoever of the ceremonies … and now upon this sacred book, by the sincerity of a Moslem's oath I here register this irrevocable vow … in willful violation whereof may I incur the fearful penalty of having my eyeballs pierced to the center with a three-edged blade, my feet flayed and I be forced to walk the hot sands upon the sterile shores of the Red Sea until the flaming sun shall strike me with livid plague, and may Allah, the god of Arab, Moslem and Mohammedan, the god of our fathers, support me to the entire fulfillment of the same. Amen. Amen. Amen."

It is like the argument I had over Harry Potter. I read the books. Yet people who have never read a Harry Potter books would tell me that they're witchcraft and knew more about that then me because some speaker some time told them so. 

I agreee from what I have read here, that some go too far in their automatic condemnation of things like "Harry Potter " etc . and other often  harmless pastimes , so it is understandable ,that you think twice, but  !!!!!!

Thank you Willa for your first hand knowledge of the shriners. Turns out, the internet info on the shriners is not  fairy tale but truth.

Based on what willa said above and on what I am seeing in the churches ,  man its leading the world to the one world religion and fast.

Soon to say JESUS is the only way, that will just flat out get in the way .   It was prophesied a great falling away and the man of sin

would be on the scene.  And that many would be killed for the true faith.  It truly is no coinicidence that in Daniel it also tells

a bit more in detail about this dark king and WHEN he comes on the scene.   Before I say what is written , I want us all to reflect the fast paced changes

in society and churches that have taken place.    When its now  , more and more seen as evil to correct a boy who thinks he is a girl

When gay marriage is filling up in many nations and seen as love,   When more and more are going under the SPELL of witchcraft believing

we all serve the same god no matter what his name is in any religion.  I have to say that the transgressors sure are coming to the FULL.

I don't donate to them, but at the same time they do a lot of good in their local communities so I won't say anything against someone else doing so or do anything to stop their outreach.

The Jesuits were created in the 1,500's, and Catholicism began way before that.  Islam began in 632.  So something doesn't jive.  

Some say Catholicism gave birth to Islam, but that's not true.  Islam began when Muhammad started having visions and hearing voices in his head.  The most influencial religion of that time was Catholicism, and that's how he knew something of the scriptures. He created a counterfeit Christianity.  One thing for sure, Islam and Catholicism are NOT creations of the Jesuits.

I would donate if I was loaded.  You can dig dirt on anybody, and as far as the Masons go, there's been a whole lot of dirt unjustly dug on them by the Protestants.  Hey after all, Protestants on this forum tell us the anti-Christ will come from within the Church.  That's better than digging dirt, that's digging your own grave.
