The Bible tells us that those in hell will be tortured and experience God's wrath and judgment for an eternity. That is forever and ever. That means it will never end. Just like the believers will be with the Lord forever and ever....never ending.

And that is all I need know.  thus we preach the only way out of that end.  JESUS.  not budda nor the sin loving all inclusive mindset that says gay marriage is love and they know Jesus too.

what a crock of a lie that is.   if we love them we warn them.   if we hate them we don't.     but if we love them not then the LOVE of GOD is not in us,which means we know Him not.

SO armour up folks, its exhortation time in the house.     warn any believer in any error to repent asap or risk it all.    its that serious.

If a person believes in " annihilation" they believe that the soul which has gone to hell will be destroyed. That is not biblical. The soul will never be destroyed.

The Bible is clear (whichever one you call "hell") that unbelievers in Jesus Christ go to the place described in Luke 16:19-31 in death awaiting to be resurrected to judgment (which will consist IMHO of simply every knee bowing to Jesus and confessing him LORD and then being thrown into the lake of fire according to Revelation 20). Death and HADES will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Death and Hades = Hell

Lake of Fire = Hell

jury is still out on that as far as I am concerned.

Both are a place of suffering, darkness, burning, for all eternity and are to be avoided at all cost.

The ONLY price paid to actually do so is the shed blood of the Lamb of God and faith in him.

All else is counterfeit and smelling of sulfur.

Yes, and that is very, very sad if you really wrap your brain around it.

This sort of thing occurs when one bases what's "biblical" on popular doctrine instead of what the bible actually says. The idea that souls cannot be destroyed has made it's way into Christianity through church fathers like Tertullian and Augustine incorporating the teachings of Plato into their theology. Plato taught the immortality of souls, and that souls therefore cannot be destroyed and these Platonistic ideas became part of mainstream Christianity. Most people believe the Bible teaches it because theologians repeat these ideas, but the bible, teaches the exact opposite:

Mat 10:28  And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Mat_7:13  "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

Php 3:19  Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

Th 5:2-3  For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

2Th_1:9  They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.

Psa_55:23  But you, O God, will cast them down into the pit of destruction; men of blood and treachery shall not live out half their days. But I will trust in you.

No they are not, not just yet. They are being held in sheol, that compartment that is still active and meant for the damned as the other side, Paradise, was emptied out when Christ rose. They will not be consigned to the law of fire till the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
