I've found the Trump announcement on the move of our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2017 very interesting prophetically. If you're familiar with the 50 year Jubilee cycle, things could get interesting shortly?

1867 - (Jubilee year) Emancipation of the Jews from Austria and Hungary. First Zionist Congress convened. Zionist organization founded. Fifty years later...

1917 - (Jubilee year) Balfour declaration.  The beginning of Israel getting their land back, as a nation. Fifty years later...

1967 - (Jubilee year) Israeli six day war. Israel gets their land back (Jerusalem). Fifty years later...

2017 - (Jubilee year) Against the United Nations and world wishes, Trump announces we will move our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem (risking an all out Muslim war).

Anyone see a fifty year pattern here and a potential for something prophetically big to occur in the very near future? Or do you think I'm making too much over this issue? At any rate, a person would have to be blind not to see all the events and players lining up and taking shape. I think it was Jan Markel whom coined the phrase, "things are not falling in to pieces, the pieces are falling in to place."

I believe in the pieces falling into place although I don't necessarily buy the fifty year cycle thing.  That's used a lot in the 'pay for blessings' televangelist racket.

Yes! It is the time of the signs.

For observers of scripture numerics it is seen that fifty is associated with the work of the Holy Spirit our comforter left for us till our Lord Jesus will return..

Dennis, does this have anything to do with the 12th century German Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel's prophecy?

Even though 'modern churchianity' seems largely oblivious to Yahweh's historical working in the 'OT', He has not changed an iota, and is fulfilling what He has determined in the past.

Seasons and Feast days plus the Jubilee intervals are still just as relevant today as they always were. The inference (just to make a point) of the 50 days until Pentecost should give us all cause to revisit what the Lord has determined in His scriptures. Nothing God has ever said or determined to do is ever obsolete. As Yeshua said, heaven and earth may pass away, but My Word will not.

Seldom does a counterfeiter make something that is original, in fact never. That counterfeit is made helps confirm that which is real exists.

[for me anyway] it is not for us to know the times or seasons, neither the day nor the hour: our duty is to watch and be ready: whatsoever is more than this is mere speculation.

Hi,

Well,  don't know. It is easy to read the association of things past, but to then predict things to come by  pattern? Don't know could be.

I do appreciate having a very limited understanding of the awesome power that is God, and enjoy the acrostics like Ps 119 and the rythms and flow of history, but I don't see forward very well. Not in my personal life so I doubt I'd put much value on my speculations as to what when and how God wills His plan of redemption to unfold. None the less I try to be ready and hope to finish my own race well.

Seventy is the number of:

1 people  that repopulated earth after the flood

2 people that came in to Egypt at Joseph's request

3  total of years that Israel lived in exile

4 of elders assigned to assist Moses

5 of disciples Jesus chose to go out in His name.

6 the number of years of punishment of Israel foR not keeping the Sabbath years - these seventies were to bring an end to the transgressions of Israel ( seventy weeks or seventy times seven (490).Eight things are included in this  connected with the seventy weeks 8 is the number associated with new birth.

And on that one goes. According to the count by the work of Dr. Ed F. Vallowe 70 is mentioned 61 times in the Bible. Now the astute student might ask; Why 61 times? What is the signifcance of 61? Is that the correct total? Should it be 66, and five have not yet been noticed? Or, Perhaps they are in that third book  or letter to the Corinthians that Paul wrote and has referenced for us, but whose text is not known to us,  and thus not included in our Bible.

One can use the numbers that are so very obvious if one wants, but I still look through a glass darkly and ought not be too proud of my very limited awareness and understanding. Instead  I need to be very humbled by the awareness of the awesome power that is God; to have his prophets and apostles write so fine a compulation over the many hundreds of centuries. All for our enlightenment as we serve Him for His Glory and for no other reason.

Not that I'm aware of? Just noticing every fifty years and during a Jubilee cycle something major occurs.

Yep, numerology is symbolic and the Bible is loaded with it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
