Hmmm..... Another post complaining about how  another person is  dressing. There seems to be a lot of "lets point out other people's sin and short comings" on here.

The pope and many false prophets have no problems pointing out true christains who warn.   they expose us as evil.

WE supposed to correct.    But today its got so bad that to tell a muslim repent and come to faith n Christ is seen as jihad

or trying warning one n a sin , is seen as a hater.     IT WONT WORK ON ME SIS.    I warn because I LOVE and desire none to perish.

The liberals destroyed their churches,  many conservatives are destroying thiers too.  with mans ideals of what is right and wrong.

PC don't work on me.     WE all stand before THE JUDGE,  so BC , BIBICALLY CORRECT   JESUS Following is what we must be.

Even paul told those to warn , rebuke others who are not following the example of Christ and what the apostels taught .

We just live in an age where the only WRONG is telling someone what is wrong.

We do not say and do as others. We follow God. Plain and simple.

I guess that is where mothers and mother substitutes i.e. sisters in Christ need to advise the babes in Christ and take them under wing. It is the discipling that is lacking in the Christian community.

I agree totally if she has grown up in a Christian home, it should come direct from Mum, or Christian women in the family/church family.

You have a good point - it could be conveyed as such.

With regards to females in general, I think a woman can wear a hessian sack and still turn mens heads....that's just my opinion :)

Nothing is more attractive than a classy woman rather than a trashy woman anyday. Being attractive do not have to involve revealing too much skin or too much curves. In some case, covering up way too much as if one looks insecure of her body or dressing up sloppily isn't attractive either. I believe everything in moderation and according to place and situation.

I agree but I also know that young Western women need to be told in a loving spirit how to dress period (and as a Christian woman).

Remember, we are living in a highly sexualized culture which is out of control - it has crept into the church as well.

I see inappropriate church wear as well as couples (young and old) tenderly rubbing backs or necks or stroking hair - everything has a place but people need to be told with love.

Just seems like people are not being told period.

Oh believe me...this isnt only happening in the western counterparts. In fact over here, at times, non Christians are much more modest than Christians, especially in their places of worship...dress codes/conservative traditional attire etc. Example: i come from hindu culture/ background. No hindu would wear to temples what some Christians wear to church...you wouldnt really be allowed if one was to be dressed indecently. In fact for tourists to visit certain temples, if they were wearing shorts or miniskirts, long garment/ or scarves are prepared for them to wear so they could cover up before entering. It is deemed great insult to a sacred place of worship for one ...male or female to be dressed inappropriately.

Christians are actually blessed to be able to dress our best for the Lord. Sometimes, it is hard to establish whats appropriate or not according to generations but... if it is rather obvious that some attire is obscene, then yes he or she needs to be told in loving yet firm manner without the mentality of being judgmental and quick to accuse / blame attitude. Above everything, in approaching certain someone, i pray n hope one would not begin the sentence with "if you are a true Christian or saved, you would or wouldnt...and if you dont obey... you are so and so..."

I used to work with a lady who was Hindu. She was a friend. She dressed very appropriately and was very modest.

I was never a slave to fashion which means I don't know what a hessian sack is. I assume it's for women and covers everything. But I want to point out it's not the 50's to the 80's anymore and today women, especially young women get their lust fired up as much as men. Some TV commercials more than prove this. So men shouldn't wear clothes that show what's under the clothes anymore than woman should. 12 yrs ago I was a mod on a board about sexual addictions. At first 95% of the posts were from men hooked on porn. Just like a drug it's fun at first, but even single men came to see it as a problem after awhile. Then a very surprising post post came. It was from a young woman and she was hooked on both male and female porn. She had read many posts from men who realized no woman regardless of how sexy she was effected him the same as the porn. No woman wants to be with a man who rather sit in front of a PC and now I knew no man wants to be with a woman who'd rather look at porn. That wasn't a Christian board but this is. I realized devils and demons are behind porn and whereas 50 yrs ago most women looked away today many don't. They have no idea what their doing. If those naked men had red horns and tails and screamed follow me and make you so hot you'll beg for ice, many women would look away. But men also don't know demons are behind this. I don't even believe there are female devils and demons. When you give in to them they're watching you. Ever feel like you aren't alone? That's because you aren't.

Neither women nor men should dress showing too much skin. Would you dress like that if Jesus was coming for dinner? If not, it's too sexy.

Lol JTC!! Let's just say it is something no woman would wear :) (hessian sack=potato sack).

*and as for porn, its an epidemic because its no longer a hush hush habit but has been brought out into mainstream viewing (online) and people in the industry are looked upon equal to celebrities with a look some young women try to emulate and some young guys prefer.(in a woman)

Its truly a problem.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
