Is there anyone here who completely refuses to step foot in a movie theater no matter what is showing? I know people like that and I respect their position although I'm not there (yet). One person said they are not going to pay money to watch a clean movie in one room while in the next room there is filth. I don't blame them. I rarely go because there is rarely anything clean enough to go see.

I can remember the look on my son's face at the Imax. Spiderman as big as a building. That's the first time he ever refused popcorn. It was awesome to be there for such a climactic moment for him.

I know a family who don't go to the Movies for the same reason you have stated, Annete....

But I think that a clean movie is ok.......maybe a different one would drive me away.....but if the movie is clean, no language, or anything else....then it is OK.

In the next room.....yes, in the Cinema, there may be a horrible film....but I am not in there.....I would not be watching that film........I would have nothing to do with the horrible one......so.......

I think the theaters are great.

I myself think that people tend to take things to the extreme.

The JW's and their refusal to serve in the Army to accept blood transfusion and many other extremist actions come to mind.

Not watching something in a theater because some other movie has been played in it is the most ridiculous thing I have heard ever !.

I go to the theatre only one to two times a year when it's movie night with the elementry school. Allways a G movie. It costs $1.00 to go then. Otherwise I just can't afford to go.

The last time I went to a movie was in 1998. From what I see advertised I'm not missing much. It's not that I refuse to step into a theater but I refuse to pay $10.00 per person for tickets to see a lously movie.

I know. Most of the movies out there now are either remakes or they are vaguely similar to something you've seen before.

I do it for my kids now.

The last time I had been to a movie was to see the " Passion of Christ".

I don't mind going if it is a clean ...or a religious movie.

As far as what goes on at another movie next door in the theater....

I wouldn't worry about that.

Its what I am doing that counts.

A lot of people stopped going to good movies when they started making dirty movies...... guess what...... they have nearly stopped making good movies..... Keep not going and there will not be any at all.
