Two different wars for sure .... the battle of Armageddon first [Ezekiel 38; 39] [Revelation 19:11-21]

Then the next when Satan is released from the abyss 1000 years later [Revelation 20:1-3; 20:7-10]

As a Christian we can never acknowledge a muslim mosque as the Temple of God.. 

Calling the dome of the rock a temple of God is acknowledging islam to be from God and if we do that then we are declaring Christianity to be corrupted / false..

Since this is the A of D, when the beast declares himself god, spoken of by Jesus in Matt 24, and if as you say Matt 24 is for Israel, then it would follow the Temple is the Jewish Temple. The example for the A of D comes from Dan 11 and 12 and Jewish history. Has nothing to do with a Muslim temple, even though the beast will surely be Islamic.

One can be assured Paul spoke of the Temple that stood in his time as I know of no prophecy that spoke of a Muslim temple on the Temple mount; therefore Paul could not make that connection. 

And who would be offended if some man sat in a non Jewish temple and declared himself god? Every pope claims divinity. Asian rulers have been called god kings for millennia. 

We are looking for a bestial and fully rebellious act of not only blasphemy against God, but the usurping of his house, something satan has always desired. A Jewish temple will satisfy this.

Christians are NT temples of The Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is God..

The first son of perdition was The Apostle Judas.. A follower of Jesus that was lost..

Jesus said of Judas::

12 "While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled."

The second son of perdition will be the anti-christ

3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"

Maybe the anti-christ will be a former follower of Christ also?

I find it interesting that Judas is referred to as the son of perdition, not a son of perdition.  The coming man of sin is also referred to as the son of perdition.  The definite article points to one specific son of perdition with two different appearances in time.

Maybe Judas is brought back to life?  Or maybe it's a reference to Satan who entered Judas and will enter the man of sin (pretending to be Judas?)  Interesting possibilities.

I do not think he will be pretending to be Judas..
