Hi Gideon,may I ask you to answer my question first before I answer yours? I'm not trying to point you out, we're all here to help each other and to learn about God's will in our live ,we have different opinions by times and that makes that there is room for discussion

And this being the wedding feast.....the wine of the wedding feast......so we do at the same time need to be prepared and have oil in our lamps in order to enter/receive it.  Praise the Lord....it will be terrible and glorious all at once.  Going by the two witnesses (the church, Jew and Gentile, two witnesses united as one) it seems that this will be the power given in the latter half of the tribulation just prior to the coming of Christ.  If this is so then the persecutions and suffering during the first part of the tribulation will help the church to be ready and refined, those who patiently endure.

(I'm a sister by the way, it's unfortunate there isn't a female avatar, so I'm often mistaken for a brother.)

Folks, get your answers from Scripture. We do know in the last days false prophets will abound...

[11] Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

[24] For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

 

Does that mean there will be no latter rain as foretold? That the church at present is the best God can do under the circumstances? That instead of us being a victorious army standing up to Satan, we will more resemble those returning from the battle defeated ,wounded, limping, alive but just barely? 

Yes, false teachers will indeed abound, and what will they teach. A grace that in no way teaches us to deny ungodly lusts and to live soberly, righteously and justly in this present age? And who will be the aidience? Those with itching ears wanting teachers to tell them “pleasant things” and that we needn’t trust God to keep us from falling as He clearly promised us because our ‘human condition’ prevents it? 

May I ask all readers of this most serious subject a question? If Satan were trying to lead us astray..... and he is.... would he more likely be found telling them about the promises of God to keep us free from the grip of sin, or telling us not to sweat is, for we don’t want to become legalistic and sin conscious? 

False teachers are already here. And yes, some even promise some sort of great awakening, a “let’s all forget our doctrinal differences, ku bah yah, and work at unity’ garbage. I get that. But we must be careful to realize why Satan makes counterfeits..... to sway us from believing when the real one comes along. 

Whether we want to admit it or not, Satan has already set the hook in our mouthes by bringing us to the point where are hearts are hardened by our continual sin and self love. The end result? When we are awakened to the promises of God that He will indeed dwell in us and cause us to walk as obedient children, many will scoff and choose to not believe the clear promises of our God, simply because they are not enjoying them. 

This is the greatest news imaginable if you are a child of God. If you truly long to walk in His manifest presence every day, and every time Satan comes tempting, you long to stand fast with your shield of faith up and refuse to give in...... because God in you causes you to take that way of escape, our God wants to plant you ON the highway of holiness and make you victorious over the world, the flesh and the devil. 

And I am to understand that this is dangerous false doctrine? I am confused......

 I would tell them the basics.....that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that there is nothing we can to to please Him with our efforts. I will tell them that God so loved us that He sent His Son to die in our place, taking the punishment we deserved. And I would tell them that if they truly are tired of sinning and long to be free of its grip, and repent totally for their walking  in darkness, and turn from it, and are willing to give their lives to Him, and believe that His death was ours, and that the blood will make their  sins as white as snow, they will be saved. Oh, and God will then take full responsibility for our walks as we look to Him to do so. 

OK, now your turn of you would be so kind. How do you witness to a drug addict who is shooting up twice daily? Do you invite him to church? And if he showed up wasted, do you ask him to return? And when he begs you  for a way to stop the drugs that are eating him alive from the inside out,  and to walk in the FREE INDEED that Jesus promised, what advice do you give him?

Angels, I was speaking of where it says Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Amen......all to Him we owe and we will lay our crowns at His feet, because only He is worthy.

You got a real dangerous and deadly way of seeing things .    A real,  how to put it , interfaith way of seeing things .  as in you have your truth and maybe someone elses

truth don't match yours , YET its still truth LIE .    THIS IS LIES .    This is extremely dangerous .    the way you reason is extremely dangerous .

TIME to start over .    IF anything contradicts the revelation TRUTH of what is IN that BIBLE ,   ITS A LIE .     Universalism many paths is a LIE .

HEY GIDEON.     My response to STILL ALIVE , was the sentence if you are a universalists its a lie and you are not saved .

THIS was his response .    AND NOTICE the FIRST TWO WORDS .  OPINIONS VARY .      Your boy needs heavy correction .  SEE this is the stuff I am talking about .

HE did not response with YES ITS A LIE .   HE said opinions vary , THEN he goes on to say he is not one .   SOUNDS A LOT LIKE OPRAH WIMPHREY

who says while she is a christain ,  she still believes other paths save and JESUS is not the ONLY way.

STAYING ALIVE did not say ITS FALSE , HE SAID opinions vary .     HE can try all day to NOW come and counter,   BUT what was in his heart CAME OUT .

GIDEON,   you wonder why I am so concerned about this big end time awakening .     HERE is part of that reason.   NOW either you did not read this
